  2. Jim Lawrence was very lenient last night with a few 'iffy' decisions. Think that and naff starting from Ales really cost us. Boxall was impressive, and our reserves showed potential.
  3. Definitely makes Rye stronger without Bunyan.... But still, R/R is R/R.... end of the day, prefer to see Tres, Garrity and Boxall having another ride each personally.
  4. Brand new kit by looks of it, I was stunned!! Everyone looked good to be honest, quick and fence crawling, Ales and Ully really helping out the others. Didn't see Jacobs do any laps though.... Shame about no Kevlars this season, but to hear they cost 6k, can see why!
  5. All the riders looked good today, impressed by Blackbird and Ulrich. Hoping for a good win, reckon by 12 or so.....
  6. I live 20 miles away, and can't afford to go Tonight, Monday and Tuesday, so had to drop one. Also to be honest, these kind of things don't really do much for me, I go to watch them race around the track home and away, not to watch them on the Disco or getting asked awkward/predictable questions. It's a personnel thing and nothing against anyone who goes, good on you, but not my thing.
  7. Agreed with Maneacat.... I will be there Monday instead of tonight
  8. Berwick probably edge it for me with the potential in Jensen, Edinburgh, Scunthorpe, Ipswich and Sheffield also have decent reserves. We have 2 young up coming Brits, who on paper aren't the strongest, but potential wise, could add a point each to there averages.
  9. Looking forward to the visits of Sheffield at the EOES, should be belters! But IMO shouldn't change riding orders for riding at home and away, you'll get no consistency with the riders, just stick with the 1-7 home and away.
  10. Well Leicester wasn't exactly going to put a first string team out against a Premier League side, but missing 4 riders is taking the biscuit a bit...
  11. Premier Shield: Workington Premier League Play-Offs: Peterborough First Place (at end of regular season): Workington Premier League Cup: Scunthorpe Premier League KO Cup: Ipswich Premier League Riders Championship: Ryan Fisher Premier League Pairs: Ipswich Premier League Fours: Peterborough Finally, The Wooden Spoon! Plymouth
  12. I'm looking forward now to the season ahead, season ticket purchased for the first time in a few years, and planning away trips already as looking forward to getting to tracks never been too. Crowds will be up, and the racing will improve IMO, so whats not to like? I think our future lies in the Elite League, BUT for the time being, lets enjoy what we have, and who were sharing it with. Up the Premier League
  13. Wonder what our riding order will be, IMO will be: Fish Blackbird Ulrich Lasse Ales Jacobs Greenwood I'd keep Lasse and Fish away from eachother in 13, as that could be interesting battle of the fence line!
  14. Wont be restaged now I wouldn't of thought. Now to wait till P+P
  15. WINTER CRACKER RIDERS: Josh Auty, Ryan Fisher, Chris Harris, David Howe, Lewis Kerr, Richard Lawson, Ulrich Ostergaard, Tom Perry, Chris Schramm, Aaron Summers, Richie Worrall. (One more TBC) I was meaning the TBC at the end of the line up BUT doubt it will be on, as the grounds saturated again.
  16. The amount of freeloaders come the end of last season was beyond a joke, more cars inside the tracks grounds than outside, that needs to change this season IMO.
  17. Scunny, Panthers, Workington and Berwick IMO and whoever from there as too close to call.
  18. Very happy with the team tbh. From starting last, could we of asked for a better side realistically? All the riders apart from Fisher could easily improve their starting averages. Fisher - 9.52 > 9.00 Blackbird - 4.81 < 5.50 Ostergaard - 6.52 < 7.50 Lasse - 7.44 < 8.25 Ales - 7.52 < 8.50 Jacobs - 3.44 < 4.50 Greenwood - 3.00 < 4.00 I think there quite realistic looking at last season, and the home form, should be a successful season ahead touch wood.
  19. Hall was brilliant for the 2nd half of the season, for that one season, yes. But recently he has been on a decline, injuries and just general poor form. IF we did sign Hall, it would be a waste of points as well.
  20. I personally think Hall would not retain his average, we can do a lot better, and be a real force away from home with someone other than Richard. Someone like Ales or Kauko... I mean a top 4 of: Fisher, Lasse, Kauko and Ostergaard will score well around the majority of tracks.
