Rye House V Workington... 5th July, 7pm
Panthers89 replied to Shadders's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
How will Len sugarcoat this.... -
Ipswich get around 6-8000 I believe for speed weekend for Brisca's, so if could sort the track out, another possibility. EOES could hold the same number aswell with temp stands on back straight and corners.

Less Than 60% Brits In Pl - Is It Right?
Panthers89 replied to Bryn's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Wouldn't make a major difference IMO, your telling me signing a rider like Danny King in the premier league, is much different to a foreigner? Crowds would still be sparse, if we had 7 British riders. -

Have no problems with that, show me the Brits that can make up that % that wont make it like the National league? -
Panthers V Sheffield (pl) Weds 25/6/14
Panthers89 replied to Crump99's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
What a dull meeting with 3 good passes to note. Sheffield were awful apart from stead before being out trapped...Poole when making starts and proctor in 13. Team changes definitely need to happen as dad's army in the middle of your team won't win you nout imo. If they can get Compton to reserve could do something. Jacobs and Ully riders of night, super gating from Joe, and with Greenwood on sidelines giving him extra incentive imo. Need to carry this form away from home though starting tomorrow night. Also what's up with the national anthem remix now... Not the proper one and lasts 20 seconds, utterly ridiculous now even more than before hand. Also one food truck....oh the choice..... -
Surely you could do it twice a week.... say a Monday and Thursday so doesn't clash (as much) with foreign leagues?

Serves you right for having a team no one can get near too And agree, the sports going down the toilet, and fast. -

Agreed, but hardly us (the fans) decision, you have a problem, email or write a letter to the promotion. As its pretty dull reading now.... -

Get Palm Toft as a guest, seems to be doing a few guest appearances recently. -
We have an excuse, or a few to be had aswell.... Number 1 who doesn't turn up much, who's Missus has knackered him out... our Captain getting his flymo's back out of the shed, and riding them again, and Ales riding with Ostergaard, usually meaning them stuffing eachother up atleast twice oh and the fact both our reserves don't even add up to your strongest reserve That will do for starters, Ill be back if need some more nearer the time

Proctor HAS been terrific in the past around the EOES, very exciting to watch, and a rider I've always wanted in my team, but this season has been a duff one, but the potential is there, and can be one of them riders who just turn up and score points for fun. I'd like to see them try Ully at #2 and Lewis at 4 for a meeting, give Lewis a ride later on in the meeting, as at home recently, a lot stronger than Flymo Ostergaard. -

Sheffield should do well around the EOES, so should be a good meeting. Olly Greenwood riding at Stoke right now, so will he be returning? -
S W C - Who Will Be Picked For Uk
Panthers89 replied to michaelcroucher's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Garrity no where near ready yet. Woffinden Harris Cook Barker/King We always say give the youngsters a chance, but till there good enough, you cant. Bridger or Lambert probably the best chance to come in and mix it up a little bit. Richie Worrall hasn't done much in either league, Garrity has done well, but to be in the WTC no chance, Kerr was doing well but not upto the standard yet either. There is no one else really since the severe decline with Kennett to come in. -
so is Perry signing for Plymouth...... that's the question.

Nicki Pedersen. Mbe ?
Panthers89 replied to Super Blue's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Without Nicki P, the GP's would have a major hole in them, there isn't one rider in the world, who pushes things to the edge as him, and goes for moves that not many riders would. Most of the time, they come off, but when they don't, then that's when people pipe up. I'd rather have 7 Nicki's in my team though, who gives 110%, and is box office, rather than 7 dull riders
