What's with the 'number plate' the riders hold when they're being interviewed?

I think even the wild cards have to be nominated by a federation, to be considered by the FIM for inclusion.

It is possible/probable that Poland would prefer to nominate "real Poles" for selection, rather than "flag of convenience" carpetbaggers. Poland putting Chuganov forward would be like the ACU pushing Rory Schlein into a GP as the British representative. It might be official and legal, but Poland is a very proud nation, and might fight shy of making such a move.

Let's see if he can manage to do the same with Madsen........

Per club website tonight, tomorrow is going to have footage made, to be shown across digital platforms, probably by Wednesday.

Glasgow's decision is the correct one in their circumstances. The very fact of their recent success in filling a compact little stadium so full means that social distancing of regular spectators at Ashfield would be nigh-on impossible. Other clubs, with more-spacious arenas (King's Lynn, Peterboro, Isle of Wight, Ipswich and Berwick come to mind) could probably get their regular attendances in while socially-distanced, if they wanted to. Other places, where spectating is currently limited to small parts of a stadium, might be able (with H&S and landlords' approval) be able to reopen long-closed areas and space people out. But in Glasgow's case this would be quite impossible, and their well-timed announcement is absolutely on the button.

Edinburgh already plan to run a team at NL level this season. Do keep up!

A good week to watch the Bandits! As well as the above, on Friday night the 2011 Bandits are being shown from Redcar.

It seems incredible to have two totally-different Brummies home matches on stream tonight at the same time.......?

It is highlighting that Berwick are featured in two different streams tonight at 5pm, one of which is heavily and properly advertised above. Reminding Berwick viewers on here that they have a choice. No doubt the keener ones will watch both, one after another -- rather than Boris!

Another Shielfield meeting on Bandits YouTube channel today: We will be showing Bandits vs Edinburgh Monarchs from May of 2019 on Sunday afternoon at 5pm! Local derbies are always well attended at Shielfield Park and this match was no different. The Monarchs looked strong on paper and the Bandits had to be on top form if all the points were going to stay in Berwick!

Great, but why isn't this also advertised on BSPA website with the other clubs' offerings?

Track lighting just needs to be even for riders, their problems come when there's a brighty-lit patch, then a dark bit, etc, etc

Tomorrow (Tuesday) night's featured match on Edinburgh's EM-TV is a curio -- Dale Devils v Oxford from 2004. A certain Jamie Courtney will be featuring for the Silver Machine Academy -- c'mon, boss!
