  1. Let's sort this out. Poole won the toss, and as a result enjoyed 8 starts out of gate 4 against Berwick's seven. What disadvantage? They lost by not utilising Hume (who had been excellent at Berwick 7 days previously) enough -- he should have been in both Heats 12 and 14 -- and perhaps might still have won if Danny King's tactical had been in white, not yellow. None of which detracts from a very good night out, with (almost) all the travelling Pirate fans both gracious and cheerful in defeat.
  2. I've really enjoyed the NDL meetings l've seen this year (live and streamed) and think the relaxation of points which allowed Berwick and Armadale to host NDL teams has proved a huge benefit to the future at these clubs.
  3. I think that's always been allowed -- it is Heat 8 that's protected, isn't it?
  4. He's actually replacing Dani Gapp. Ricky Wells is in for Jye.
  5. Unless you are speaking for the Leicester promotion, that is a shocking post.
  6. Bandits have Tom Brennan and Ricky Wells as their guests, plus r/r for Leon Flint. Poole have recruited Jason Edwards as their #2 as a guest for Zane Keleher/Ondrej Smetana/Benjamin Basso. Plus James Wright for Ben Cook at reserve.
  7. Concussion has never been mentioned, I don't think. But he won't be fit for Redcar, I'm pretty sure
  8. SCB office have received the referee's report. They confirm the £100 fine for Theo Pijper and that Kye Thomson was excluded from Heat 10 for unfair riding. Anyone suggesting that Kye's exclusion was for a second starting-gate offence is just plain incorrect. To say the least.
  9. Why is Tom Brennan listed to ride on Saturday but Drew Kemp isn't? They are both in the same (German) meeting on Sunday afternoon.
  10. Superb! 11,414 posts on here and your efforts to maintain relentless criticism of Berwick promotions (past and present) show no sign of flagging.....
  11. Go Luke! One meeting for Berwick Bullets and one maximum - masterstroke by the Pirates!
  12. Or we could look at the club website right now?
  13. These changes don't kick in til the Brough Park match. Current positions maintained for the KO Cup-ties.
  14. He looked fast and in control on Saturday night, l thought.
  15. While I can see there's a bit of a knee-jerk reaction to the home defeat, the criticism of Justin Sedgmen seems a bit unfair. Although at reserve, he has continued to increase his rolling average month-on-month -- what more can be expected of him?
  16. It's only a tenner across the board on Saturday -- either by e-ticket or at the turnstile. Fuller details on Bullets' thread over on the National League pages.
  17. As per Bandit59's post above, it's all happening on Saturday night! Tickets for this Saturday’s National League showdown are now Live right here -- just a tenner for everyone (and £1 for under-16s!) https://www.berwickspeedway.com/tickets/ Former NDL champions Mildenhall Fen Tigers are in town, and they track an exciting looking spearhead that will have our Bullets boys locked and loaded, ready to defend that 100% home record! The impressive Jordan Jenkins and our very own Luke Ruddick bring some Shielfield Park expertise to the the tapes on Saturday night, backed up by Sam Bebee and young Sam Hagon. Purchasing your E-tickets is still our preferred option as a club as it really is fast and straightforward but as of Saturday night, one turnstile will be open for cash payments. In the event of a cancellation your E-tickets are fully refundable but any cash entries will only rollover to another event. We encourage you to also have the correct change if possible when purchasing your programmes on the night #BulletsVsFenTigers #SummertimeSpeedway
  18. I would think Kysie has done his 4 X 4 and will have a 'proper' average, which will put him back into the 1-5, at the expense of Willie. If Joe Lawlor is still smit by the virus, the Monarchs' can pull the kind of trick they did at Berwick, when they used Drew Kemp as a 'like for like' guest!
  19. Kyle can't be a Rising Star in a Championship team, as he was designated 4* -- CL sides can only use up to 3* riders as their RS.... Kyle could only be a Rising Star in a Premiership squad. I think.......
