  1. Kieran Douglas confirmed as fourth Bullet
  2. Ready for what? Ready to take on Dan Gilkes, Jack Smith, Ryàn Kinsley or the Thompsons? Of course not, he's just turned fifteen and has limited 500cc experience. Ready to continue the progress he's made from sessions at Duns, the GB Youth events and for Berwick's Academy side in NJL mini-matches? Absolutely! This coming season, he'll only have to beat the opposing #7's -- home and away -- to justify his team place and repay the faith the GHT Bullets are investing in Ace. By joining local fellow-graduates Mason Watson and Keiran Douglas (and before them, Leon Flint) his recruitment to the NDL side -- emphasis on the 'D' -- displays the Berwick club's continuing determination to 'grow their own'.
  3. Cant agree. Nicola Sturgeon has worked tirelessly for the past two years, keeping the nation's head above water in the face of vindictive and cynical actions by the lying and cheating Westminster posh,-boys. IMO.
  4. Main reseve for Wolves? I think not. Leon Flint is 3.63, Drew Kemp 3.36.
  5. Cameron Heeps has patriality, even raced in the-then National League back awhile. Anyway, being a new promotion wouldn't stop Newcastle going through the ridiculously-expensive and time-consuming process of becoming sponsors, it's a Government thing, not BSPL.
  6. Actually 6.03. Adding three points would put him above the current CMA of Craig Cook, Bomber or Charles Wright -- and Scott Nicholls is 9.07. Tom Brennan is a fine prospect, but pushing his average up by three is a step too far in 2022. IMO.
  7. Nope, it'd be 7.10. Over last 20 matches, excluding any 2021 meetings against Eastbourne.
  8. Whoever is wanting money for the use of the name "Comets" is really trying it on...... But I'm assured there will be no charge whatsoever for the name "Comics" (and then we can all call them Comets, anyway)
  9. That's an innovative and positive step. Hopefully one that will allow a degree of financial stability for the Brummies.
  10. After discount, Danyon Hume is 4.89, Connor Bailey is 4.17
  11. Hàrdly. For instance, while Heeps is on 5.05, Jye Etheridge will be a stàrting reserve at Berwick on 5.35.
  12. Look on the bright side. It might go above 4.00!
  13. You wont get Congreve's CMA any lower than 4.00, l'm sorry to tell you.
  14. Sorry to tell you that three of your averages are 'way out. These seven (after discounts) amount to 42.11.
  15. Always better to stay in the black ink. The Berwick operation ended 2021 on the credit side of the ledger, and while we all want to track the best-possible team in each of the three leagues the club ràces in, the overàll budget does have to be observed.
  16. Its really quite simple. If a rider has raced in a match for or against Eastbourne in 2021, these points and meetings are wiped out. As rolling averages are calculated over a rider's last 20 matches, to ascertain a true CMA you just need to go back and add older matches back in, to give you the rolling average over twenty meetings, to compensate for the 'loss' of the Eastborne matches. Simples!
  17. It only fits if (a) Connor Bailey is allowed the GB discount, and (b) the total is rounded down to 42.00 as it is fractionally above, if taken to the third decimal place. But l dont think that's your team, anyway!
  18. Why not Fridays? No restriction for an NDL circuit..........
  19. If Dany isnt to be stuck in Austria by their current lockdown, and there are no visa difficulties after Brexit, re-signing Berwick's current highest pointscorer, on a very acceptable average (5.94) is an absolute no-brainer, IMO. Can beat the best (almost every week) at Shielfield and, as Normski points out, performed significantly better on away tracks last season than previously.
  20. Close. Drew Kemp is on 3.67 -- with discount, that's 3.58.
