  1. Truly refreshing to have two teams at full strength in both legs, no guests, no r/r........
  2. The final ones, issued after all meetings have been concluded, which are posted on BSPL site at end of October. These will include (or exclude, I suppose) all figures relative to Newcastle fixtures.
  3. Fifteen points? From five races? Spud's a really good rider, but he'll be up against Masters and Pickering three times each. You'll get good odds on a fifteen-pointer at Armadale on these terms!
  4. Bar Bandits were very welcome, as well as noisy, visitors to Berwick last month.
  5. What's with the unit -- I presume ignition -- on Lambert and Madsens' bikes with flashing lights? Didn't clock it on anyone else's. Looks vaguely like my wifi router.
  6. Be assured, there'll be a whole heap of Coronation Cups, Trophies, Championships, etc, etc in 2023
  7. Educate yourself, bud.... She was Elizabeth I in Scotland, not the 2nd.
  8. Plymouth must be hoping this is off, given the dramatic shortage of available riders. As one who likes the Plymouth set-up, and felt nothing but good vibes on many visits, I'm really sorry to see the team Garry has been required to nominate. They will line up, if it is on, as: 1 Rider Replacement 8.402 Ben Morley 4.293 Ben Trigger 8.004 Anders Rowe 6.765 Dillon Ruml 7.156 Lee Complin 3.267 Connor Coles 2.00 Which doesn't look as strong at the Gladiators would want, or deserve. Which is a shame, not just for Plymouth but also for the blameless Poole, who would have difficulty in promoting a play-off tie against a weakened visiting side with their usual efficiency. If it is on.
  9. Foam-fences don't lift, nor do properly-secured air-fences.
  10. And in this instance would be absolutely correct not to.
  11. He was however, at Plymouth earlier this month with the Bullets -- most of whom are his good mates -- and would be able to see how the track is currently riding. His alarming ability and common sense will guide him how to ride the place.
  12. Luke Harrison, who has been a regular for Berwick Academy for a few years, also in tomorrow's Final. Good luck to both Ace and Luke. Who says the NJL isn't working?
  13. That would depend on how well these teams promote their home round. To locals, who hopefully dont follow this forum any too closely.....
  14. But what is a "proper British track"? The delight about our racing is in the difference. Berwick, Plymouth, Armadale, Kent, Ipswich, Glasgow....... You can see cracking meetings at them all. Sadly, Belle Vue -- which is a great track, although not really "typically British" -- as a venue is lacking in spectator capacity, and the surrounding area is lacking in, well, civilisation. Cardiff, with a better-prepared track surface, remains our best option by far. IMO.
  15. Yes. Alcohol is zero. Not sure how various drugs are checked, as some are in your body all the time naturally, but it is again the equivilent of a zero.

  17. I think if Flint had been riding, Berwick would have been red hot favourites!
  18. Brummies have booked in Kye Thomson, Paul Starke, Paco Castagna, and Lee Complin to race the Bandits. R/R for Nielsen, but James Pearson and Sedgy will be in the colours! And probably at Oxford in the Pairs, too.....
