It's managing Oxford -- efficiently!

Not dumped. He was helping out on a 28-day contract, which has ended. In this week's Speedway Star he explains, while getting on really well with Berwick staff, after two years with the Bullets he wanted a change -- and had a deal pre-season with another club, which sadly colllapsed. He confirmed he is looking to join another team. Ben's a nice guy, wish him well.

Back to the big-time again, with FTS Bandits taking over from Bullets this Saturday. Oxford in town with their two (very) big hitters, and both sides seem to be playing chess with their line-ups. As ever, early-bird e-tickets on sale from www.berwickspeedway.com/tickets FTS BANDITS: 1 Rory Schlein, 2 Leon Flint (capt), 3 Jye Etheridge, 4 Jonas Knudsen, 5 Thomas Jorgensen, 6 Jacob Hook, 7 Connor Coles MONARCH CHEETAHS: 1 Sam Masters, 2 Lewi Kerr, 3 Cameron Heeps, 4 Jordan Jenkins, 5 Scott Nicholls (capt), 6 Henry Atkins, 7 Ryan Kinsley

Well, let's see, then.........

Where does this misinformation come from? Bandits are at full strength on Saturday?

Jonas' CMA will move to exactly 6.00

Poole Vs Plymouth 7th June league
crescent girl replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Not really too sure about that one, Paulco.... In 1995/96, the "best in the world" were riding regularly at Shawfield, yet attendances actually dropped off so alarmingly it forced the two (different) operating promotions to close. History shows the northern tracks are always happiest -- and most profitable (and can therefore offer continuity of operation) -- when operating at "Division 2" level. This didn't stop Jack Young winning the World title, or guys like Carl Stonehewer or Craig Cook going to the GPs. -
As a bystander, I can't help feeling you've got a personal spite against a very hard-working, steeped-in-speedway, club official.

This from Berwick's club media briefing this morning: High-flying Mildenhall Fen Tigers visit Shielfield Park on Saturday. That means skippers Greg Blair and Lee Complin going head-to-head for the third time this season with pulses still racing from their clash three weeks ago when the former Bandit guested for Workington. When the teams met at West Row last month it was Connor Coles, Danny Phillips and an inspired Jamie Halder who took the fight to Complin and Alfie Bowtell, going into heat 15 with the chance of a draw. Josh Embleton is sidelined by a chipped wrist and knee ligament damage sustained in a high speed crash against Workington, former Edinburgh teenager Mickie Simpson comes in. The Fen Tigers enjoyed back-to-back victories at Workington and at home to Belle Vue last weekend but lost a bruising top of the table encounter at Oxford on Tuesday night. Greg Blair said “Mildenhall are a good team and, from a personal point of view I’m looking forward to facing Lee (Complin) again. He’s a good mate and I know he’s keen to get one over me after Workington. “Both teams are packed with talent and the meetings have been so tight around the National League this year that the battle for the minor places is as important as race wins. “With the season over halfway through we didn’t plan to be sat at the bottom of the table but, despite everything, I don’t think our performances have been reflected by our points’ tally. “Against Oxford Mason (Watson) looked back to his old self after a tricky start to the season and a firing reserve is always going to be an advantage when the scores are tight.” The NDL clash will be followed by an NJL mini-match between Berwick Academy and Ashfield Giants. Tickets are available from www.berwickspeedway.com/tickets and the meeting will be livestreamed by BanditsTV! tv.berwickspeedway.com Bullets: Danny Phillips, Ben Rathbone, Connor Coles, Jamie Halder, Greg Blair, Mickie Simpson, Mason Watson Fen Tigers: Alfie Bowtell, Arran Butcher, Ben Trigger, George Congreve, Lee Complin, William Richardson, Josh Warren Academy: Owen Booth, Ben Rathbone, Rocco Webb, Charlie Luckham Giants: Tom Colley, Billy Budd, Lewis Hague, AN Other

Just to make things more interesting, Mickie Simpson will be replacing Josh Embleton in Berwick Bullets' line-up against the Bog Moggies on Saturday.........

He is named by Redcar at #3

Wouldn't it better to sort the dust, rather than dodge the wind direction?
