The old system was better every race counted I thought the idea of the gp was to find the most consistent rider over the year in my eyes the best way is that EVERY race matters and counts towards the final outcome. If they carry on with this system I would prefer the old one off world final no silly semi s no silly finals just 5 rides to get it right. It would be interesting to see who could handle the pressure one bad ride and it’s almost certainly over not like now where you can have a couple of poor rides and still win the meeting just my opinion of course

Just watched the recording bloody 3 hours of my life I ll not get back. The gp series not doing it for me I don’t like the point scoring system and am losing interest.

Bloody hell I remember watching them do that at Sheffield years ago

I know but after the inter continental final the riders had 5 rides to win the world final not one race in the old world finals the pressure was on for five rides now the top eight virtually pick themselves meaning to me the 20 heats can become meaningless

Agree with the two riders running away with it this year and agree that no system is perfect but just feel that the system with every point counting was the best for the gps but the present system is not for me i am only interested in it because i ve still in r/rs bash the bookie Comp lol

Smarzlik got lucky last night with doyle getting excluded it gave him a free run out wide with doyle there it could have been all different but it’s all ifs and buts now.

I think it’s worst telling a non fan someone scores 8 in the meeting then gets 20 for winning one race .the gp in my opinion as gone downhill

I agree . I am losing a bit of interest it was for better when all the points in every race mattered.it makes the races 1/20 less important not as exciting . It was nt broken before so why try to fix.
