Vaculik will be on a 9.00 as he is a GP rider. Pieszczek is a 7.00 is he not? Sarjeant should be a 3.81 surely seeing as that is his established average regardless of what he did in the Championship. -
You are right about Wright although at home he is capable of being a heat leader as is Holder. Allen is definitely capable of improving that average. Lawson can improve to a 7.00 rider. BWD is capable of edging towards a high 5 point average he would have this season if not for all of his engine mishaps. Jeppesen as you said is up against riders that are either his level or he is above who knows.

Well looking at that team it will be very difficult to beat at home as at the OTA Wright and Lawson is ample backup away is a different story but remember Doyle can take up to 6 rides with heat 15 and tac sub. Looking individually: Doyle - doesn't really need anything said does he. Wright - Mr Somerset so i'm happy he is back but away from home is the big question. Lawson - similar to Wright apart from that he isn't Mr Somerset. Holder - can definitely go on to be a 7.00 rider this season, hopefully can get a championship spot aswell to get more rides. Fixing his ego will be the thing but Doyle will be able to sort that. Allen - was hoping he would be at reserve personally but it's down to him to keep improving this season, riding with Scunny seemed to help him last season so hopefully a full season with them can do it again. BWD - fantastic to have him back, has won silverware with all three clubs he has been with now (he won something with Eastbourne didn't he?). Deserved a higher average than what he finished on last season and had problems with engines, definitely capable of a mid 5.00 average maybe a 6.00 Jeppesen - Who? Will have to wait and see but has already won things in Denmark in 2016 he won a youth championship. If he can get the points in heats 2 and 8 i'll be happy. Looking at the no. 7's in Clegg, Davey, Greaves and Serjeant plus possibly Smith/ Bickley and Shanes he should be capable of doing that.

Has to be Doyle now, if not still a big number 1
-
Doyle, Andersen/ Holder and a reserve. I would love Wrighty in the team but he is nowhere near a second heat leader.

Well considering Holder is apparently still in talks with Poole and going by the Rebels social media the team is complete so could be that there is no Holder.
-
Same here in all honesty but I just can't see it, putting 2 and 2 together and saying Wilson Dean is in the team as well then that is 21.99 with charles that would leave 13.82. Would mean either going with an 8/9 point rider and a reserve or a 7 rider and a 6 rider. Either way Wright would be the second heat leader, as much as I like Wrighty he is no second heat leader.

No under by 0.03 with Palm Toft.
-
Hans Andersen Palm Toft/ Lewis Rose/ Kacper Gomolski Chris Holder Jack Holder Rich Lawson Jake Allen Bradley Wilson Dean
-
Just personally don't think they would mix after everything that went on with Batchelor and Holder last season and Doyle being friends with them both. I may be totally wrong but just a gut feeling.
-
While Doyle could very well be on his way to Rye House as I doubt he would get on with Buster at King's Lynn. Then Rye being nearer to home than Somerset, plus money is probably better at Rye. I doubt any team in the top tier would go with two inexperienced riders. Could possibly go with Robson and Perks for Nicholls and one of the reserves.
-
Imo not happy with Holder as I can't see Wrighty returning now and he needs to fix his attitude but will still support him. Could possibly see Chris joining now with Lambert allowing Allen and BWD starting at reserve. 5.97 left and the best rider around that average for me is Erik Riss. So could possibly see 1. Robert Lambert 2. Chris Holder 3. Richard Lawson 4. Jack Holder 5. Erik Riss 6. Jake Allen 7. Bradley Wilson Dean
-
If any Poole rider is going to be here it will be Andersen rather than Holder, Wright is pretty much the preferred pick I would imagine. Wouldn't want either Holder imo.
-
BWD is my guess mentioned he has a UK spot being announced soon so putting 2 and 2 together.
-
No thanks the one Holders attitude/ ego is big enough without two of them.
-
1. ? 2. Jake Allen 5.07 3. Charles Wright 6.69 4. Richard Lawson 6.43 5. Robert Lambert 7.38 6. Bradley Wilson Dean 4.67 7. ? 12.26 left for a no. 1 and a reserve, decent middle order and better top end than last season. BWD has plenty of improvement in him and Jake was a lot better whilst doubling up with Scunthorpe.

Who cares who Matt Ford wants and what he has to spend as this isn't a Poole thread it's a Somerset thread. Whoever we get will be a cost effective team for whichever budget we have (with or without the TV deal). What the team will be is an exciting one and one or two surprises, May is a fantastic team manager and has never let us down since being in charge.

CVS would not be dumb enough to blurt aloud about the Somerset finances to any old person also the promotion wouldn't be dumb enough to mention about the finances.
-
We'll probably still get a deal as the BSPA know they can't afford to not have one but they will have to meet BT in the middle.
-
And you know the status of our financial play how?
-
Yet according to you we haven't got a pot to pee in, would be hard to sign the u21 champion if we are as poor as you make out.

Someone's full of Beans, that is all. 😂

Agreed I would have them back in a heartbeat, Wright had arguably his best season last campaign and Lawson took to the OTA well. Both would have to improve away though. I was just pointing out that a lot of teams are playing follow the leader in terms of 2.00 reserves if one team includes a 2.00 reserve others will follow.
