I'm going to Leicester tomorrow so I can see them tomorrow.
-
Yep you're right (which as I said I would admit if I was wrong). Doyley had the template of it on his race suit last night. You can see it in his interview on SGB on YouTube.
-
I believe it's: 1. Jason Doyle 2. Jake Allen 3. Charles Wright 4. Jack Holder 5. Richard Lawson 6. Jonas Jeppesen 7. Bradley Wilson- Dean Should have too much for us at Wimborne rd but if we can keep it close on a track that will be newish for the Poole riders (with all the work been done) then we may be able to make it up at the OTA.
-
Going by the article on the website about Lawson reaching the podium at Lakeside, we do have race suits this season.
-
1. Martin Vaculik 2. R/R 3. Danny King 4. Krystian Pieszczek 5. Hans Andersen 6. Kyle Newman 7. James Serjeant 1. Jason Doyle 2. Jake Allen 3. Charles Wright 4. Jack Holder 5. Richard Lawson 6. Jonas Jeppesen 7. Bradley Wilson- Dean Only a challenge match so doesn't really matter about the score. Obviously a big crowd puller with Vaculik v Doyle. I think it's going to be close with no Bates and Pieszczek not having ridden in Britain before.

No one has seen Somerset yet so how do you know they have race jackets?
-
They can't use Kildermand can they? Didn't they bring in a rule GP riders who missed last season would be reassessed to a 9.00 exactly like NKI?
-
I personally believe he can put on at least a point and a half on his average this season tbh. Just needs to keep his attitude in check.
-
Much prefer Jack Holder on a 5.82 tbh. I think he'll be a better rider than Chris and Doyle and Garry will sort out his attitude. I doubt anyone will do that with Chris.

For or against team suits
SomersetBlue replied to Booey boy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We have to get more marketing in but that's why ASGUK were signed on as commercial partners to improve our marketing side of things which they have done a little with Jewson and the air ambulance coming in but as you said elsewhere with the influx of business in the region we always more patners. -

No just a mistake just as anyone can make but i'll own up if i'm wrong. Was watching matches on YouTube from 2017 and never realised until I just re looked and saw 2015. I've said before i'll own up if i'm wrong. I made a mistake but point still stands tbf it doesn't matter what the team wears if things go right on track. Sponsorship can only take you so far and I believe we are already getting sponsorship deals to help us with the Doyle deal. So added onto expenses for the track, meeting expenses etc we probably wouldn't recoup for race suits in all fairness. Swindon have always been good in terms of the marketing side of speedway tbf. I totally agree Poole have definitely done a Leeds with the badge but even that isn't as bad as KL attempt at a club anthem. -

You really think marketing is a problem for Poole and tbf Somerset? Yet Poole still state that it is down to finance and you have to believe it's the same with us at Somerset (probably due to the wage of a certain world no. 1). Will the fans and riders moan if either side wins the league... probably not. Did Elit Vetlanda fans last season moan about winning the league title but wearing race jackets... probably not. -
Really? 6 out of the 8 teams have Aussies in the team this season, 7 out of 8 last season

But also looking at the race bibs they cost between £50 - £60 massive difference in price. -

I couldn't care less about the difference between race suits and team kevlars. Not going to make a blind bit of difference about what happens on track. Besides one of my favourite riders was Jason Bunyan who always turned up at the OTA with a racing top and bottoms. He looked awful, pyjamas we used to call them but it made us laugh. -
Not really I respect Sugarray with facts and figures but who really knows what Debbie is thinking but hey if i'm wrong and he has connections then I will admit i'm wrong, as I said I don't really care if we have suits or not. I like the different colours of the riders kevlars.
-
He may know what he is talking about but who really knows what the plan is from Debbie.
-
With all due respect to Sugarray, no one really knows what Debbie is planning or not. With the money now available she may go and get Team suits. I personally don't see the problem with race jackets. Apart from last season I've never really liked them and preferred the jackets.
-
Is there any proof of this? Jason never named Somerset.

Are any Rebel fans going to Leicester on the 26th?

2018 Premiership Predictions
SomersetBlue replied to Gavan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think King's Lynn will be fine. One of the best top pairs in the league with PUK and Lambert and maybe even the best reserve partnership if Andersen goes well. Jorgensen at home is ample backup to the top two and Proctor/ Rose should be fine second strings at home. Away is the problem though. -
Didn't realise the final was a two day event. So yeah 5 extra meetings, last year each Premiership team were on at least twice so may be the same again if at all possible.
-
So i'm taking it's: 3 Speedway of Nations matches, 11 Grand Prix meetings 5 Play- off meets (2nd leg same night) 8 premiership home meetings 6 extra meetings
-
Riders should have some say as at the end of the day they are the ones who can tell how the track is riding. As I said in a previous post Doyle has probably had some say on the track. At the end of the day it's a team effort from top to bottom. Everyone has their own delegations but advice should always be taken.
