Don't get me wrong , I would love to see him back but it's a long way to come and I've just heard the same rumors as other's !
-
Not sure he will be now Ipswich have signed Adam Ellis at reserve ! There may not be room for him in the Witches team and as it was Chris Louis who brought him over to the UK , if he's not there he may not come at all ! I still think his 9+ average will be too high for most NL teams to be include if pts limit goes down as predicted . Also the rumours of personal friction with Louis could/should/maybe be taken with a pinch of salt .
-
I definitely think Adam should go to a more needy team , someone like Mildenhall !
-
Wouldn't be anywhere remotely good enough I'm afraid , would get hammered every week !
-
A 4.4 PL average for Cam would convert to alot less than his current 9.18 NL one ! Although he upped his PL av by 1.4 he didn't progress quite as much as some thought he might . Possibly down to his injury towards the end of the season . With a lower points limit seeming likely I think this would probably mean him being to high to fit in anyway !
-
Hadn't really thought about Josh Bailey , definitely one for the future but not sure he's quite ready yet . A full season of AJL I think might be advisable for him as long as it's still going next year!
-
I think it's time do get this one underway . Given a similar points limit to this year who would everyone like to see back next year or think will realistically fit ? There's going to be some tough choices ahead for the promotion as so many of the Tigers managed to up their averages immensely ! Obviously , I would like to see everyone back but it cant happen as everyone did so well but here goes , Cam , Would like , but could well go full time PL , also his 9+ average could be too high to fit . Joe , Definitely back , really improved this year and would be heatleader next year . Stephan , Yes , Could well be No 1 next year depending on others and if he goes PL . Dan , Yes , good choice on average , should fit in ok . Lewis , Again might go PL but could also possibly be a bargain on sub 8 average . Nathan , Definitely , so much potential and improvement before his horrific injury ! Josh , Definitely again , showing tremendous potential , just needs to stay on his bike a bit more regularly . A couple of 3 pt newbies would be needed as well so hopefully the management have been out talent spotting . Wow , it's tough working out who should stay and who should go but whoever they may , be one thing is certain it will be a very different looking Fen Tigers that comes to the tapes next year !

Mildenhall V Stoke 31-10-12 Nat Trophy
Super Blue replied to Super Blue's topic in National League Speedway
I'd this some half hearted attempt at getting a Stoke win coz it ain't gonna work ! Does it really matter anyway , the Tigers have won everything ! Stoke had their day and a win at West Row but it isn't happening again . -

I've never been to office but believe it's inside so you will prob have to pay as usual and reclaim refund once in but I stand to be corrected if that's not the case . -

I'm working in Ipswich ( and it's raining ) so any chance of anyone local keeping us updated with the weather in Mildenhall ? It's a 100 mile round trip for me so don't want to make it unnecessarily . Thanks in advance . -

Not on the turnstiles , in the office , details on Mildenhalls website . -
Well , this is it , the very last Speedway in the country this year and subject to the weather ( goes without saying really ) it's the final chance to see the mighty Tigers in action and for everyone to congratulate them on the Grand Slam ! There is nothing else they could possibly have won and deserve every ounce of support we can give them , it's just a shame Joe is out of the country and unable to join in the celebrations ! For this meeting I'm sure The Tigers will have the strength to cover Joe's absence but I'm fairly convinced it won't be the complete rout it was looking to be when the first attempt was rained off after 5 heats . If Ashley Birks is in the Stoke line up he will possibly have a score or 2 to settle so should be interesting ! Looking forward to a good night and hope to see as many people as possible to laud the all conquering Fen Tigers !!!! OH , AND NO RAIN PLEASE !

I don't think riders who are scoring decent points in the Elite and Premier league should be allowed to ride in the National league at all ! IMO If you're good enough for Elite you're clearly too good for this one . Admittedly i can only think of one rider who fits this scenario at the moment but still shouldn't happen .

I have to admit in any sport that I believe the team that finishes top at the end of their league season should be crowned as champions but that's just not the way it is in speedway ! The teams that have finished top in all 3 levels of Speedway have all failed in the play offs and are not league champions ! Although this may be something to be pondered by the powers that be the whole play off system was set up to keep interest going in the league for more clubs . Is there a better way ? I'm not sure .

Where do we start with this one ? Well done to the Diamonds , a good solid all round performance and deserved win . They were certainly more up for it than the Witches and it showed . A few eccentric refereeing decisions ! Specifically heat 2 Matt makes a great start and pulled back then in rerun falls and excluded . Yet in heat 14 Henry falls , race stopped , all 4 allowed back ! How , why ? Also the meeting could have been over long before it was if he wasn't so slow in releasing the tapes ( snail like or what ! ) I believe half the Witches were just going through the motions tonight and any small amount of home advantage was totally negated by conditions , sawdust and rain/hail , cold etc etc . Also did I see it right that Chris Louis gives the thumbs up to carry on while it's still hailing and we promptly concede a 5-1 ? If so , what a plank ! If not I apologise but that's how it seemed . Anyway , that's our home season done and dusted so no more at Foxhall till march ( gonna be a long 5 months ) and now it's speculation time as we all wait to see who is going to be back next year and what new faces may appear ? To be continued on Witches 2013 thread once I've mused and pondered !

For heavens sake ! I know I joke on here that everything ( including climate change ) is Dudleys fault but the one time something IS genuinely their fault ( specifically Roynon ) there's this massive debate ! It's not about opinions anymore , Roynon took out Nielsen 100% , proven by video , end of ! Nothings going to change and Mildenhall are league Champions . Time to draw a line under this one I think .
-
Having now seen the replays myself there was only person at fault and I'm afraid it was Roynon ! Although I'm genuinely sorry for his injuries they were rather self inflicted , he quite clearly flicked his tail end out at Stephan causing him to go over and ended up hitting the bike ! The decision to exclude Roynon was utterly correct it's just how that decision was made that's the question ? Only the wonderful powers that be can decide if it was legal or fair !

Can you really see us clawing back such a deficit ? Even if we did get close we've been pretty weak in the 2nd half of meetings the whole season . I can see us winning but not by enough I'm afraid Although I did confidently predict Mildenhall wouldn't overturn a similar deficit in the Nat league play off final and was pleased to be wrong . ( just goes to show what I know , eh ) I will be there though to get as much of a speedway fix as I can before the long winter !
