Im afraid I have to agree with part of what the Presenter had to say . Personally , I've never particularly rated Pete Simmons as a motivator and some of his decisions or should I say lack of them regarding obvious switches that need to be made are quite bemusing . How much of the weekends results are down to CL's pep talks etc we will of course never know but after the pretty apathetic performance on thursday it's nice to see that the team does have a little fire in it ! Yup , Adam Roynon would be a good choice but I fear he's off to Dry House .

Ref my earlier prediction , humble pie tastes remarkably like Dominos pizza , well it does tonight anyway !

Let's hope Barker can find some home form , win a heat1 and get a max there !

Well , I see a Workington like defeat here . Probably have used both tacticals by about heat 8 and end up getting thoroughly hammered ! I'd like to say prove me wrong but it's never going to happen !

Bens been a disappointment to me this season as well , an outright no1 with his average who hasn't won heat 1 yet to me is a serious let down ! He is still exciting to watch though .

I would take him at Ipswich as well but can anyone see Chris Louis making a positive move like this would be ? Not a chance !

After last night's inept performance by the Witches against Newcastle I have no idea how anyone can predict an away win for this one ! Big home win IMO .

No and as soon as pretty much anyone puts on the Witches no1 race jacket it screws them up big time . Ah well , mid table mediocre rules !

Well how rubbishe was that ? The track seemed really tricky early on . We had the really exciting news that Hawkins is staying for the rest of the season ( huh hmm , not ! ) Fair play to Newcastle though , they are a strong team and plugged away all night to get the result . Tungate , the only rider to perform and he blew it big time by screwing up Barkers outside run in ht15 ! Barker , can't win a first heat to save his life and can't gate to boot ! Every else mediocre or poor to say the least ! A couple of good passes in heats 13 and 14 aside I felt it was a pretty inept and gutless effort by most of the team ! Just goes to show how poor we really are as most of the best teams in the league will pretty much go unbeaten at home all season . Reality kicks in that mid table is the best we can hope for . Obviously the forum doesn't like the word I used in the first line so please substitute anything rhyming with flight to replace rubbishe !!!

Having now printed out my scoresheet for this one and looked through the heats I've come to the conclusion that Witches will need to be on top form to get anything out of the meeting . Newcastle look strong throughout with several riders that like Foxhall or have done in the past . I definitely see it being a close meeting or we end up getting battered , I don't see a big Witches win at all . I obviously hope im wrong and will happily eat a large slice of humble pie if I am !

Will certainly be quite a challenge for the Witches to remain unbeaten at home with this one . I'd take any kind of win right now !

Apparently Barker wants to ride even though he was advised to take a week off ! Probably wants a go at North , although they don't meet till heat 10 and he's on a gate outside of North ! As far as Davies is concerned , why would anyone want him to be British anyway ?

That was really too easy , and there was me thinking Glasgow were going to be the league whipping boys this year , I've changed my mind after tonight . Really good to see Mortens continued form and even better to see him riding a much wider line this evening . A very good team wide performance and great choice of guest who in my opinion is actually as good , if not better than Doyle round Foxhall . A speedy meeting on a cold damp night and well done to all involved for getting it on considering the rain and hail at 6-30 ish .
