I thought I read somewhere that for Gino it was to have qualified State/National championship wise within the last 2 seasons , so now he needs to hit that magic 7 average or will need to finish in the top 4 in the American championship to return to Britain next year . I stand to be corrected of course .

Im finding it difficult with all the posts on the Dilemma thread to work out who's behind who on the debate so at the risk of this being removed by mods without a sense of humour I've created a simplified version . At the moment just about any team can come to Foxhall and get points ! Our total inability to ride our own track is the problem and it shouldn't be happening , even a racer like Nico couldn't get anything out of it last night . Track prep and a home teams ability to adapt go hand in hand for home advantage . Im no Speedway scientist or psychologist but something is wrong somewhere in the fold and needs sorting before our season is over !

I've made that very point myself before about underperforming . In my job if im not up to scratch I'll get warned , if im still not doing the right thing I might get a second warning if im lucky then i would be gone ! With the team we have we should be doing much better at home and at some point a difficult decision needs to be made to let a rider or two go , will the promotion have the balls to make that decision , probably not !

God , now I know we're bad , throwing away an 8pt lead in the last 4 heats . Tungate couldn't pass wind let alone an opposing rider and decided to promptly block King out in ht13 who would have had a realistic chance of challenging ! Imagine what the result would have been had Somerset's "top" 2 riders had actually got dialed in tonight . Why the hell do we waste our money watching this garbage at Foxhall every week ? Heaven knows !

Hmmm , this is quite clearly becoming a love him or hate him debate about Nikki P ! If a lover youre obviously going to defend him to the hilt and blame Greg . If you are a hater then he's a complete bell end who seems to love dishing it out but doesn't like taking it ! Either way , he was definitely in the wrong with his move on Greg who then got the red mist and reacted badly . Nikki's history for such riding is renowned and to be fair probably has had that kind of reaction coming for a long time ! But the main thing is nobody ended up injured .

Which Witches will turn up for this one then? The abysmal one of a couple of recent home meeting's or the one that fought hard for the win at Peterborough? One things for sure though, if we lose this one at home then something is badly wrong psychologically with the team riding the Foxhall track! Somersets record here is shocking to say the least and I will be expecting a decent sized home win, but then again I thought that before Sheffield and Newcastle came to town. Here's hoping for a well prepared track to the Witches liking anyway and a sizeable victory! (All the best to Bob the track man, wishing him a speedy recovery from his injuries at the stock car event)

Apart from all the ad breaks Eurosport provided good delayed coverage of an eventful World cup that had pretty much everything you could ask for. Good racing , plenty of passing and the odd contentious decision here and there . Also the added bonus was the form of Nikki P and the Danes losing out in the final knockings. All in all a good night's entertainment after watching the England football win in Slovenia .

I think there is still a 28 day guest rule in effect but how it's interpreted is up to those " Powers that be " to decide , rather depends on things like which side of the bed they got out of or is it the wrong time of the month ? On young Robert Lambert im thinking most Peterborough fans are saying the same thing !

Personally I'm glad Lambert didn't make it back because I think if he'd been there the result would have been reversed. As for Danny and Gino being there and Lambert not, only he will know if he just couldn't be arsed or simply didn't have the resources to return in time . All I know is I would be seriously dischuffed with him if I were a Panthers fan ! As it turned out, a much needed 3pts for the Witches and a pleasurable journey home from the showground for once.

Although I witnessed the very pleasing victory at Peterborough and much needed it was too I have to say there are still problems in the Witches camp that need sorting out ! Firstly , the total inability to ride our own track needs to be addressed , the only time we ever look good on it is with no dirt and smooth/slick as a billiard table . This has got to change ! On the team manager front I will give him credit for making all the right decisions at Peterborough but I have to say that was a first for the season . As far as the team goes most appear to have mental strength problems when it comes to riding at Foxhall and seem to use completely the wrong lines . Danny , a superb confident no1, no problems with him , a revelation ! Gino , not really got going yet this season due to ??? and injury . Badly needs to get to that magic 7pt average . Nico , been a great signing , no complaints whatsoever , superb effort ! Cam , also not shown of his best so far prior to his broken wrist . Needs to step it up on his return . Rohan , scores reasonable , ok when in front but never looks quick and seems to ride the wrong lines when behind . Stefan , very up and down and doesn't seem to like Foxhall very much . Ritchie , really has issues this year and needs to sort himself out or be replaced im sad to say . A couple of the lads are above the criticism but the rest need to take a long hard look at themselves especially at home . As a team we should be doing much much better for the home fans , if we're not winning they will slowly continue to drift away !

Actually , just had a flick through a few weather forecasts and it doesn't look promising , thunderstorms likely . And ploughed field is a very apt assessment for my last visit . It all depends on where my work takes me tomorrow but I'm definitely planning on going.

Sky go doesn't half eat battery life on mobiles, I'm OK on the data side as I have unlimited but for those that don't it's a definite no no. Having said that what a great idea. Although I'm recording the SWC so will probably try and avoid any scores.
