I know that I would be insisting that the wrongly produced suits were reproduced correctly at no extra charge pronto! The colour scheme is bad enough in the first place let alone some of them being wrong!

Premier League Predictions 2016
Super Blue replied to SomersetBlue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I'm definitely liking the fact that nobody seems to be giving Ipswich a chance this year. In the past, last season especially we were labeled as title favourites and failed miserably so this time around we might just surprise a few if we can at least find some consistency at home. -
Think it might be being updated as I can't get on it at the moment.
-
And your point is ? There are plenty of Bell Ends everywhere in Speedway , I just exampled the first 2 that came to mind and I certainly don't condone Tungates move . This is an Ipswich thread and the Tungate incident was done to death elsewhere . He is not a Witches rider this season so let's move on .
-
All this takes about Bell Ends makes me think Craig Cook and Nicki Pedersen are going to be coming to Foxhall this season! They've always charged for parking at stock cars in the past but never for Speedway, I can't see that changing, they would hardly make enough money to pay the people collecting it.

Baldy, how many more times am I gonna have to call you a knob? Those colours combined with certain small birds and the 'N' word is like major swearing to us locals! I'd get a ban or at least have my post edited/deleted if I vented my true feelings towards that place!

Looking at the Scunthorpe team we ought to batter them, however we do have to remember that over half the Witches team are themselves pretty new to Foxhall and need to bed in.

Ah well, less than a month to go to the start of the season so maybe time to speculate on the riding order which is being announced on 9th March. Although personally I think it more or less writes itself in my opinion. 1 Danny 2 James 3 Lewis 4 Morten 5 Nico 6 Paco 7 Darryl The only doubt in my mind is Lewis and Morten could possibly be the other way round otherwise I don't think it will be far out. Anybody think it will be any different? Will give it a couple of weeks then I'm sure someone will start a meeting thread but this will do for now.

Damn, just realised I'll still be in Lanzarote on Sat 2nd April, I didn't think I was going to miss any home meetings given the no bank holiday fixtures. Ah well, I'm sure they'll win without me.

And the Saturdays they have selected not clashing with football matches Is also a help.

Peterborough Panthers 2016
Super Blue replied to mudflaps's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I don't think even the Elite league pay enough money to avoid riders doubling up/down, that's why so many do it, they want to earn a decent living! -
Fours Festival Weekend

Definitely, I don't agree with free passes to finals in any sporting events. -
Fours Festival Weekend
Super Blue replied to Sings4Speedway's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Must admit it does seem for once they've priced something very sensibly! It makes the event very supportable and it should be a good crowd on both days, weather permitting of course. So in conclusion 1 Good race track 2 Decent location 3 Reasonable Speedway pricing 4 Overpriced food outlets Only real downside being that Peterborough get a free pass to the final, totally wrong and will take solace that if they win it will be a very hollow victory having not had to qualify! -
Fours Festival Weekend
Super Blue replied to Sings4Speedway's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think £20 for one day, £35 for the two days giving a small discount is a reasonable price, maybe a bit more off if you buy in advance. Anything more than that is a rip off considering its the PL fours and not Elite/International superstars that's being paid for to watch. I just hope they get the pricing right and it's a well supported event. In other words don't get it wrong and put it out of reach of your averagely paid Speedway supporting working man. Alternatively of course we could all just turn up and I'm sure with his massive income and savings 'Morrissey Fan' would be more than happy to subsidise our entrance fee! -

Yeah, you're right it's really amazing how much you can save if you don't have a life and spend your entire time trolling on here! -
Fours Festival Weekend

Totally wrong that the host team is seeded into the final and before anyone says it happens in major football competitions I don't agree with that either! Places in finals of competitions should be earned in any sport not given away because it will attract a few more punters through the door! If they intend on giving final places to the hosts every year then they have to move to a new venue every year as well to be fair on all teams involved. Yet another example of let's help Peterborough out as much as we can! -
You knob! You're only suggesting it as you'd have an unfair advantage having ridden a speedway bike before. Would be interesting to watch though.

Wonder what that means? Answers on a postcard please.

Any Takers For The Elite League?
Super Blue replied to Hamish McRaker's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The one thing in this debate that is very evident is the financial element. In Football the goal is to get to the top league to reap the monetary rewards. In Speedway you appear to need to have money to compete in the top league. There-in lies the problem, if a higher position in any of the leagues gave increasing prize money then the motivation would be there to constantly strive to improve and step up to the next level. Given that Speedway is a declining sport in this Country with no money the product is never going to get any better! Sponsorship and big sponsorship is the only answer and personally I don't see that ever happening. Just be happy you have some Speedway to watch in whatever league your team is in, I'm more than happy with what I have in Ipswich, though it would new nice to win the odd major trophy every now and then! -
Yes, there were some seriously negative predictions about Nico, I said he was an absolute bargain on his starting average and was proved totally correct. He was certainly the most entertaining rider we had this year if not the highest scorer, an absolute pleasure to watch him! Shame most of the rest let us down badly.
-
For those of us who are old enough to have seen him ride John Louis was a class rider as well!
-
Believe it or not Tungates average is too high to fit anyway.
-
If Lewis Kerr can't ride for the Witches surely he must have a relative called Wayne Kerr who could fill in for him? Mind you, if he has to be replaced we would have 7.34 to play with as he is 6.85 and we were 0.49 short of the limit.

I think it will be after Christmas and into the new year before most Ipswich fans will start talking about the new season. You get an initial flood of opinions about any new team after its been announced but then it goes quiet till on here till we're on the Speedway countdown clock.
