  1. I'll believe it when I see it but allegedly yes, the Massif will be ready with boo horns if he does appear.
  2. Depends on what team you support but I'm going for a Witches win! Joking apart, I assume you're request is weather related? If so it's all good with no rain expected and temperatures still in the high teens during the meeting.
  3. Point 1. Thank God for that. Point 2. I can't hold that against him. Point 3. And rightly so due to you own promotion.
  4. Although your presence is a rarity these days and as much as throwing rotten veg is appealing I don't particularly want to get banned from Foxhall.
  5. Well, I think it's time to start up this potentially contentious thread with the Pussycats coming to town including the infamous Judas called Holder! Well that's what I think about him anyway. I think it's going to be a tad closer than last time around as they now have Bomber in their line-up who proved himself while guesting for Cookie last week. I still see a home win on the cards and with super Sedgmen being absent again I think it makes us a bit stronger than against Worky. Better not say too much more as the mods may not like it. Away you go then and don't pull too many punches!
  6. Could have something to do with the fact that he's sh1te! When we first got him and I suggested he was a poor replacement for Covatti everyone said no he's a great signing. How wrong can they be, currently fit or not he hasn't been good from the word go. The only position he might be semi effective in is the only one we haven't tried yet which is no 2 (rather appropriately) then at least his meeting is over before the crunch heats. Sedgmens poor form, injured or not will cost us in the playoffs!
  7. Sedgmen has been pants (not the words I'd really like to use) since he's been at Ipswich and of late even worse! 💩 So sorry Monarchs fans, agent Sedgmen isn't in your ranks tonight as he was at Foxhall recently!
  8. Sarj may still be pretty young but until he learns to gate when the tapes go up and not before he's going to have a lot of 15mtr handicaps to battle against. But his starting issues are very well known, he's definitely talented and with the right equipment he could certainly get himself out of the reserve spots in any team. Anyway back to the thread, I think the Witches could potentially get something from this meeting if all goes well, with Sedgmen being missing (given his recent scoring record) it could possibly strengthen our challenge. I would say to Baldy, you can fill us all in on your return but that doesn't seem likely any time soon.
  9. Another entertaining meeting with Worky last night, both encounters against them have been good this year. I think we are now pretty safe in the playoffs, the only thing really worrying me is that Sedgmen wasn't particularly good when fit let alone now he's not. Could be the difference when it comes to the crunch meetings.
  10. The weather is certainly sh1te at the moment in Ipswich but supposed to dry up. Hopefully the track hasn't got too bad with all the rain over night.
  11. After a week off at home and an away victory at Scunny at the weekend Workington are the visitors to Foxhall on Thursday for the 2nd time this season. Personally I don't see anything but a home victory but I said that when Edinburgh came to town. Cookie was not at his best last time around and hasn't really been in the best of form since the World Cup so he'll probably have a blinder. Will the others come to the party, who will be the Worky no7 and will Sarj break the tapes again as he did to order previously? Time will tell. I certainly think that the Witches should get the 3 puts and consolidate our playoff position. Over to you.
  12. I see that the Witches are preparing for the top league this Saturday with Danny riding and Kyle returning from injury for Leicester and guests of Rory and Cam also making appearances against Rye House. Would be an interesting meeting to attend if it wasn't a 4hr round trip. Though from what I'm told Leicester is even more of a gate and go track than Foxhall.
  13. Personally I don't see why these events are not moved to different tracks each Year, I know they are traditionally held in the same places for potentially good reasons (Ie, pairs on Cardiff weekend) but every team in the league should be hosting either pairs, 4's or an individual every few years. But it's all about opinions and that's only mine.
  14. Was going to the 4's today but not feeling 100% this weekend, however Holder does go remarkably well round the showground, it's not entirely a bad thing that the Pussycats yearly home advantage has been negated 😀
  15. Anybody heard anything on timescales for Kyle's injury? Hopefully not too long as apparently nothing broken. Although Nathan rode his heart out against Glasgow covering using RR is not exactly appealing in the long run, especially as white line Willie mk2 is the only other rider we can use apart from the reserves.
  16. At least Cams bike didn't blow up, it was only kill switch coming out.
  17. Good win last night considering Kyle's injury, get well soon Kyle we need you! Well done to Nathan who worked bloody hard covering, would have been been my MOTM for his efforts. Was nice to get the win after the events of last Thursday and the weekend shambles with Connor applying himself well, Justin not so much I'm afraid to say. He should be scoring at least 7 at home meetings. Danny, Rory and Cam all did their jobs superbly, pity about the expensive looking engine blow up for Cam in ht15. We were definitely helped by certain Glasgow riders having an off night and as they were last night I wouldn't say no to facing them in the playoffs. Shame we have a blank next week.
  18. Well apart from a possible smattering of natural track watering forecast at 3 or 4pm it all looks good weather wise for tonight. Only saying as we all love a chat about the weather, don't we Cookie?
  19. Alas that has been lacking so far if he doesn't gate well, perhaps the recent events might be the fillip he needed to motivate him? Then again, the fact he can't be sacked now, hmmm who knows.
  20. I must admit I personally was quite pleased when I saw his tweet saying that he had been dropped but without knowing who the replacement was for certain I can't now say whether I'm pleased he's staying or not! What's done is done and we just now need to get behind the team we have and get the most out of them we can.
  21. Just seen official preview on website and Justin still at 4, we are dropping too many points from the 3/4 partnership. Why ???
  22. With the interesting/shambolic events of the weekend with team changes (Not) I thought I'd start this one up early for discussion. Having had potential rider changes turned down by BSPA it looks like we're stuck with what we've got so let's at least try one riding order change to get the best out of the team. We all know that when Kyle moved to 2 it seemed to kick start his season and now we have the services of Justin for the rest of the year I think he needs to be moved to said position. If management were prepared to dispense with riders services surely they must at least be looking at riding orders now? Anyway, this time around I'm making no predictions whatsoever on the meeting result given how wrong I was last week. Last time Glasgow came to town they pushed us close and took a point back to Scotland and I rather think that they could well do the same again. Lets just hope there's not too much unrest in the pits at the moment and we can get back to winning ways ASAP.
  23. Well, even though it ended up being a total f*** up I for one actually applaud the attempt to change the team to hopefully improve it. Although I would have loved to know exactly what the changes would have been. Obviously something went wrong somewhere with the proposal, we may find out but we may not. We just need to make the most of what we have now.
  24. Bloody hope he wasn't even close to being signed!
