Me thinks it would be a good idea to wait before too much speculation on here about next year. I believe it would take a bigger crowd than we normally get to survive financially in the top tier (whatever its format) As yet any rumours are obviously unconfirmed and I'm sure all will be as clear as mud after the agm.

Gonna be a good crowd tonight, just arrived a tad earlier than normal and loads of cars already here! -
Ipswich V Sheffield Po Final 2nd Leg 30-9-17

I think we'll win but probably not by enough, it depends on how good a start we get. -
So the biggest night in the Witches recent history is almost upon us, I think it might be time to start a thread! I've not put a time as certain people on here always moan that first race is 7-45pm not 7-30pm as advertised. Can we do it? It's certainly possible but it's gonna be tough, we need to hit Sheffield hard early on! If we can make a good start I think we've got a chance. Scott Nicholls is a good replacement for for Josh (I can't spell Grajczonek) but has never been the greatest gater so who knows how he will do, we all know Foxhall is not the easiest place to pass. We've been reasonably comfortable winners on both visits by Sheffield so far this season and long may it continue. We just need Danny to rediscover his early season maximum form and the others to come to the party and it's game on as they say. Hopefully a good crowd will see a determined and victorious display from the Witches to win the trophy 🏆 Opinions?

Are they doing promotional pricing then as I haven't seen anything?

I'm sure that there would be plenty of Worky fans who would be pleased if Sarj rode for us next Saturday instead of them! Although I'm sure it won't happen.

Edinburgh V Ipswich 2nd Leg Po Sf 22/9 @ 7.30pm
Super Blue replied to Mr Blobby's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Was ultimately mission accomplished with Danny 'leave nothing out there' King having an absolute shocker! Although to be fair he's had some superb meetings for us. Let's hope he can get it right for the final. As others have said there were lots of 'if only's' for both sides over the 2 legs and it could have gone either way. Anyway, onto the final against I'm sure will be the Tigers of the Sheffield variety where we will need a much larger lead than the one gained over the Monarch's to have a chance of the title! -
Although the 2nd match against the Witches might not actually get finished depending on anything occurring or possible curfew in place it would be good if we could give Sheffield something to think about with regard to who they pick for the playoff semi. Although we've been comfortable winners both times at Foxhall with Sheffield even more so on our previous visit there we need to lay down a marker that we can't be taken lightly. Bring on the playoffs.

It was a great performance by the lads last night with everyone contributing, a special mention obviously going to Nathan who I'm not even sure is currently riding his own bike at the moment given how badly it got bent up recently? Let's keep it going guys into the playoffs, momentum and a winning mentality are crucial to success. -
Ipswich V Berwick Ch 7-9-17@7-30pm

Not the best of meetings I've seen this season sadly but another comfortable win which is always good for keeping confidence high going into the playoffs. At home recently our guest choices have been excellent, the only real let down was Doolan away with a big fat duck , enough said on that one . Onto the playoffs and KO cup now after our remaining away league fixtures. Will be interesting to see who Sheffield pick to face in the semi's, I'm only guessing but I doubt it will be us . And finally , please give it a rest on the start time people , some must live sad lives if a few minutes parade/intros is that upsetting to them ! -
I think he'll do a good job, obviously no idea if he's going to be doing it regularly.

Rob Chandler is the ITFC mike man and Ipswich supporter although working in the 'N' word.

The Bandits come to town on Thursday for the 2nd Championship fixture and although they sit firmly at the foot of the table nothing can be taken for granted result wise as Buxton proved at Mildenhall in the National league at the weekend. We are still without Cam and Justin for the foreseeable future so RR in operation and Lewis Kerr guests for the Witches. Hope he does as well as our previous couple of guests. Berwick also using RR for NBJ. Personally I still think that we should have more than enough in the tank to comfortably win this one but as I've said before, you never know. There may be some wet stuff about depending on which weather forecast you look at but hopefully we be all good to go for our last home league fixture of the season.

Ipswich V Redcar Saturday

The weather had turned for the worse where I am in Ipswich, it was a beautiful day, now bloody raining, hopefully only a shower and some natural watering for the track. -

Anyway, who's going to win tonight. I think the Witches could take it but not by as many as if Cam was riding. Danny should be back to his best on home shale after a bit of a blip on Thursday at Redcar. Mark Riss an interesting choice of guest, hopefully will do as good a job tonight as Mason Campton did for us. Also hope Nathan is fit enough to ride effectively after his withdrawal from a recent meeting. Apart from that it's all good to go with nice weather. -

I almost put '6 fingered yellow and green bird' but they have claws so some pedant would have no doubt corrected me. And any mascot of the team from the 'N' word would have got alot more grief than Holder got on Thursday. I say the 'N' word because to me that's swearing which is not allowed on a public forum. -

Then I'd get arrested for cruelty to animals (we'll, a yellow and green bird) or murder! -

Well it was mission accomplished with the 3 points gained. To be fair wasn't the best of meetings and not hugely entertaining. Mason Campton, not a bad choice of guest , well done lad. Apart from that Cam was a little over eager to make a couple of passes and overcooked it resulting falls , hope he's OK ! Onwards and upwards . -

Depends on what team you support but I'm going for a Witches win! Joking apart, I assume you're request is weather related? If so it's all good with no rain expected and temperatures still in the high teens during the meeting.
