Can I ask - and I'm not having a go for not going - but why do you feel the need to tell everyone you are not going? Not saying it will affect anybody else's thinking but it just adds a negative to the minds of people reading this.

I suspect Neil is the sitting promoter ie any new promotional team need to have an experienced promoter to be there as a guide for their first season - if there is not one available they will allocate one from a nearby track but it's always better if you can call upon one from your own resources

Imagine that!! A ploy to get people to head along on a Saturday night - I thought that is what a Promoter is meant to do. PS - maybe you might get a surprise as to what that announcement is!!

It would appear as Mason booked his flights prior to the original meeting being rained off and for after the season was scheduled to finish then that is why no "withholding of services" is apportioned. Can't say I agree with it and very unfair that the club has to suffer but there you go!
