Richie was doing well last year it seems his results have changed since going to a smaller track. He's not the first that has happened to and he won't be the last, maybe a change is needed.
Maybe you should ask him to interview Gino instead, Thought Ipswich had 7 in their team not just Gino, ! Gino Gino
Yes he's a good rider but crickey your obsessed man. Lol
It depends on who you mean Riders who wish to ride
Or riders who are finding it a little difficult to step up.
A few names have been mentioned on here on both topics.
Just to name one rider who I think would love to do elite is Ash Birks
Last year up until his accident was doing a really good job. Always gave 100% and think still would.
He is a real trier and I think a stint at reserve in elite would boost his confidence no end.
I don't know if he chose not to be on the list or couldn't be on it. But he is just one of the riders who I think should be in the elite league reserves.
Again just my opinion
I for 1 do not agree with this.
Riders who rode last year in elite league who should be riding this year but with this new draft it would mean there wages were halved so they loose out big time.
Then it seems some riders who chose not to be on list are know getting asked to be guest riders.
If you opt out of the draft list Your Out end of.
Just when you think you have read and understood the rules they change to suit certain teams
Some riders are struggling some are itching to ride but why should they put their rear end on a bike when they are only getting half what they got last year. This to me was brought in to save money which I am not against but for some riders it is demoralising. When there are perfectly good riders chomping at the bit to race.
Sorry but I for 1 wouldn't be happy if 1 year I was getting £££ per point then the next year if I wanted the same job same risks same expense my wages would be halved.
I am all for bringing on British lads but some of these lads are being used as skape goats
Just my opinion.
I am sorry you cannot count Birks and the Worralls as development riders. They were all established bike riders/ racers although not speedway but they knew there way around racing and bikes well before Scunthorpe. Could be Scunthorpe was used as a stepping stone because it is also a practise track.
Scunthorpe have had many a good rider but what confuses me is They Don't Stay
Fair play to you Chalkie. I travelled to Coventry last week that got rained off. Last night I made the trip to Birmingham just got there and heard on the radio that was off too it is very off putting. But it's a long season and with the forecast I heard we are in for a hot hot summer. Who know's we could be complaining about the dust soon
