harsh. not only has bunyan got a full speedway set up and home in new zealand, he is also a great ambassador for new zealand speedway. no one has ever said he is a gp rider, but he is the best by far new zealand currently have to offer, and fully supports speedway in a country where it has been forgotten. through training schools and in previous years alone where he has hosted new zealand riders in the uk like bargh etc.. this year he is hosting and backing an up and coming 12 year old as well as supplying machinery and supporting a nz u21 at the world champs. on his current average, yes he is a reserve... but this is coming off the back off 2 seasons of 2 horrific injuries, one which nearly claimed the use of his right arm. previous years as number 1 at IOW and Stoke prove otherwise.
