  1. i'd love to see them sit round the table and sort it Promoters alan dick, stewart Dickson, john campbell and alex harkess "right Edinburgh right Glasgow do you all agree" ??? "Glasgow" hold on let me going call my boss lol
  2. isn't our main sponsors and now directors also barred from Glasgow ?? a bit silly but there you are
  3. Emergency Meeting being held today at BSPA Towers as teams cant get heat leaders strange how the bspa chairman's (team) cant attract a no1 ?? surely he can just bend the rules to suit ? lol
  4. obviously a shortage already decent 3.00 riders, what happens next season when these riders become 3.10 , 3.50 etc will the rules change again ? don't think this was thought out personally I would have said, your no7 should be british and under 3.50
  5. lol where could any club find someone to replace Cook ? or for that matter that partnership ? i'm sure Edinburgh's team this season will still be in the top 6
  6. how about Sam Masters 8.98 Kevin Wolbert 8.18 Erik Riss 5.22 Max Clegg 3.48 Ricky Wells 8.86 Adam Roynon 4.39 British 3.00 42.11
  7. strange after 6 years in charge you still cant spell his name right lol I don't think its cast in stone he is standing down. personally I think he is the best man for the job, he is speedway threw and threw just for the record its HARKESS
  8. how is that an independent body then ? its fine the way it is. only people that seem to complain is when it effects their club.
  9. wouldn't be surprised if he went threw the tapes going from 15m
  10. Ritchie is a class act. i still think Glasgow will win, be close but home win by 4-6
  11. Interest in British speedway or Glasgow Speedway
  12. Think teams should say "subject to BSPA approval" when announcing a new rider
  13. at the start of the season an aussie couldn't double up, but now I believe they can take secondary employment by taking out a second visa, however after max fricke's good score in Poland with Rybnik, I very much doubt he will ride for Newcastle on a sunday
  14. i believe it was in play time done on a motocross bike in oz
  15. Totally agree think testimonials are getting a joke , 10 years at one club is fine but at the end of the day it's 10 years in a job that your getting paid to do. I've been with the same company I work for , for 18years big deal I don't expect a testimonial after been there 10 years
  16. Heard that the visa's have been cancelled and need to re-apply , and will need to meet the criteria set by borders agency Ie must have finished in the top 4 of a state championship or have an average over 7 Or be the national champion or under 21 champion If this is true then it will only effect a few, and a lot of scaremongering in the process .
  17. Will be sorted one way or another within 2 weeks
  18. Surely if Glasgow followed the rules for signing a rider from another club then they and Aaron have nothing to worry about. !
  19. No it's says hopefully announced this week. taken from the page. Can't announce where until hopefully later this week..
  20. If this is correct then why has glasgow offered 12k for summers to redcar If no one owns summers then surely glasgow would have announced he is riding for them in 2015 ?
  21. a footballer is self employed but is owner by a club speedway is no different, each rider is owned by a club after they have done 4 home and 4 away matches. Each club have an asset base made up of riders, if they don't meet the required figure money has to be lodged as a bond
  22. it would be unfortunate for aaron, however glasgow did break the rules by approaching him illegally and upsetting redcars team building plans. think thats why aaron had to ask for a transfer. he will also lose his 4 years towards a testimonial that he gained at redcar.
