Sounds to me that they’ve possibly been gazumped for a rider they thought they had?

I was once told by a promoter a couple of years ago that they sold between 3 and 4 hundred programmes a meeting, and their average gate was around the 1500 mark. With the price increases just to get in amongst everything else, I’d imagine that number will fall further and surely the programme will be one of the main things sacrificed for those feeling the pinch.

True, but Doyle never started on his current figure and Louis took a lot of stick for being so far under. I just don’t think he’d do that again but we’ll see.

Trouble there is R Worrall and Riss leaves you 6.12 for your last rider. Batchelor is not in the team, so who else fits? None from what I can see. There’s a couple of 5 pointers sure, Andersen and Cook, but there’s no way Chris Louis will leave the team over a point under when Doyle took up 10.32. Ritchie Worrall and Jake Allen leaves just over 8 to get an 8 pointer in whether that be Sayfutdinov or someone else.

Jake Allen is on 4.00. Could slot in at 2, keep Rew at reserve, and more importantly keep Spiderman1 happy.

How many meetings did Kemp have at reserve compared to Cook? Kemp has a higher GSA for this season in home average, away average and overall average. With bonus points Cook slightly comes out on top. Crux of it is there’s been very little between them and yet Kemp was seen as the weak link for Wolves and it was said they needed to be a lot stronger at 6 next year, are they? We’ll obviously have to wait and see and we could well be comparing apples with oranges. Just because Kemp struggled at Wolves doesn’t mean Cook will, but as they were in the same side at championship level that’s the only comparison we currently make. Only time will tell if Zach Cook was a good signing or not but I can understand the pessimism personally. I think Wolves will again lose meetings at reserve. We’ll see.

Not sure where you’ve got that from he was very good at Foxhall back in the day. Last appearance was back in 2010 where he scored a full max.

Belle Vue thought the same and look how that went. Allen seems to have taken the same route as Cameron Heeps, down.

Not a chance they chuck him in the 1-5 so him being at reserve completely rules out Hume. You’d assume they have the full team in place if they’ve named the reserve.
