  1. I personally think they’ll end up with similar figures at the end of the season. Good early battle between the two which should bring the crowds in at the Showground. Might even travel down myself for that one.
  2. People need to stop making comparisons to riders in the past who made comebacks. Someone even used his father Phil as an example. But look at the strength of the teams that they were returning to, even the reserves back then were quality. Having a look at the “strength” of the line ups on the BSPA website, I don’t see an awful lot that will frighten him. He’ll still have the measure of your Palm Tofts of this world. 7.5 average or thereabouts.
  3. Let’s have it right, it’s taken until nearly March for him to say yes. Hardly going to be on his list of priorities and his calendar looks ridiculously busy now. No spring chicken either. He was pretty disappointing at the end of last season with Ipswich as well and that was when his commitments elsewhere had dried up. Weren’t some Panthers fans on here saying he was disappointing last time out for them also? Hold his average at best for me.
  4. You’ve been very vocal in your negativity towards Jason Crump. It’s fine to have reservations on what level he’s now at, others have the same reservations. But Crump WILL swell the crowd numbers not just at Ipswich, but wherever Ipswich ride. You know that full well.
  5. Strange you didn’t seem to go in to any negatives in a previous post when it looked like Peterborough were signing him. As for his style not suiting Foxhall, he rarely dropped a point there and has often labelled the track a favourite of his.
  6. I believe Ricky Wells is your number 7. Was at Ipswich, but you’ve now done the borrowing after Ipswich could no longer fit him in at the bottom end.
  7. the NSS provides the best racing in the country, a price increase is justified IMO as long as it’s a sensible increase. If it makes it more expensive than all the other PL tracks so be it. If it provides the best entertainment you should pay for the privilege.
  8. Take your point, but personally I don’t think the “I know something you all don’t and I’m not telling”, adds much to the forum. As has shown in the last few posts, it just rubs people up the wrong way and is unnecessary.
  9. All very unsavoury this. Has to be said that the communication between those that run/own the club and the fans who ultimately keep the club running, is poor to say the least.
  10. Nobody is disbelieving you, I think most accept (apart from good old Geoff but he doesn’t count) that Holder is plan A and that’s who they’re waiting on. This other rider, you haven’t actually named, so how can people disbelieve you? Why don’t you just name the rider?
  11. Having read the article myself, I’d agree with others here rather than Chris Louis. There can be no doubt what Hawkins is saying and being quoted as saying. Only other explanation is Louis and Hawkins are not communicating and Hawkins is in the dark as much as the fans..
  12. Oh for more characters like Roman Matousek today! Entertainment.
  13. If it’s Masters completing the team, then it’s similar to Kings Lynn for me, pretty uninspiring
  14. You are aware of the saying “opinions are like ar$eholes, everyone has one”? He wasn’t actually calling YOU an ar$ehole..
  15. Doesn’t look the most inspiring line up it has to be said. Seems to be a lack of ambitious, and drive at Kings Lynn these days.
  16. Totally agree. I remember Milldenhall having problems a few years back with a couple complaining about the noise.
  17. This forum has gone to the dogs. People have problems with riders now if their opinions don’t sit right with others. You couldn’t make it up. Did nobody take any notice of Andersen’s form BEFORE that accident against Ipswich? At best, it was inconsistent.
  18. Personally I hope Ipswich sign Chris Holder. Still a very capable rider especially in this league, and it would be good for British Speedway to have another ex world champ riding here again. He remains a name that supporters will turn up to see.
  19. Posted Christmas Eve, well you have two of the three right so fair play. Lets see on your last rider and whether you were right to be laughed at by the Poole supporter..
  20. Holder or Iversen? Gotta be one of the two surely. Either would be a good signing on their current averages, but personally I’d plump for Holder if given the choice. Iversen didn’t exactly look comfortable around Foxhall from what I saw last year.
  21. Haven’t “misinterpreted” a thing cocker.
