  1. Pretty sure he would get more meeting riding PL
  2. Heard it something to do with his visa they would need to apply for another visa to ride pl as the one he has only allows him to ride for one club hence why he never rode in any elite or guest bookings this year
  3. If they worked IOW into a mini tour with a couple other meetings you might get away fans going along to watch it you get a good few away supporters when southern teams do the northern tours in the pl Edinburgh Friday Berwick or worky sat Glasgow or Newcastle Sunday
  4. A lot will depend on race nights don't want a rider/riders missing matches every other week going to be hard fitting in fixtures to suit teams if riding in 3 leagues could be a lot or that man r/r next year in NL
  5. Don't think when they say it's mega extra money its the fortunes that people think it is it could only be extra £10 a point That seals the deal And most teams have a budget to work too and won't go over that look at Ben barker he stated he called them because he wanted to ride for the club and likes what he saw when he raced there so did a lot of other top riders from what I was told so the club also had a bit to bargain with and its a riders job to go and earn whatever they can its a short season to make a living if it's your full time occupation pretty sure most folk would jump ship from year to year for better pay and working conditions
  6. Don't think any club officially owns him yet
  7. See max clegg has resigned for the monarch will he be riding NL next year as well As elite and pl
  8. Camera never lies lol Camera never lies lol
  9. Looks like he never touched him at all Marc left the door open for him after making a mistake coming out bend 4 and he passed cleanly
  10. Difference in riding NL and PL is the tracks nearly every NL track is pretty slick or very slick just to help the mid range riders that would struggle to turn on a grippy trap think that's why he struggled to turn the bike at Glasgow but can see him getting to grips with the pl tracks pretty quick
  11. I don't. Think our team for next year will be announced anywhere but from official sources after speaking to stewart last night said all leeks are filled lol
  12. If berwick can only offer £20 a point and Glasgow offered £70 it's a no brainier some people would believe blacks white if it was said on the grassbanks
  13. Riders will go anywhere for better workshop facility's van deals tracks facility's it's not always about the money and can assure you it's not mega money they get at Glasgow it's a complete package from a club that's going in the right direction and that's if he is really coming
  14. Pretty sure he was carrying a few injuries but wanted to ride and not let the team down
  15. every club should have there own local #8 that maybe could travel with the club even if it's just for experience of being in the team with the prospect of bringing him into the team as some point in the future that way they gain experience in what it takes to be a pl speedway rider and if there is a second half at the away track they can get a run out just to get track time on different away tracks
  16. Pretty sure Ben Basford will be a reserve next year good rider getting better every meeting
  17. Ricky wells has signed for worky for next year
  18. This is a strange one he was meant to guest in the pl this year and was told his average would be either a 5 or a 7 can't remember the whole story although the he is classed as a Brit which you have to be to ride NL he was born in NZ but has British parents and he has ridden in his national championship also seem him say on FB if he is classed as a 7 he won't be back to uk next year as only riding NL is no good for him
  19. Could keep both and put max in main team are he will hold his own around Armadale
  20. By the sound of it any rider that has never ridden in the pl or ever had over 3 ave if they did A few good riders to pick from http://speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/nl15_issue_24.pdf
  21. Is it not any NL rider that has not had a ave over 3 in the pl that able to take number 7 spot there us a helava lot if decent riders in the NL it's just about getting the right one if you think max Clegg and James Sargent came in this year as 3 pointers look at them now
  22. Stewart told me the very same today and he has been quite supprized with some of the names of the top riders that are asking him We even have a open practice this Sunday with 12 NL riders coming for it they think they must be in with a chance of our number 7 position or sussing the track out
