  1. We tried but when you have to race 2 of the hardest tracks in British speedway it's always going to be hard to get it right first meeting but Ryan was looking forward to Kent where he has gone well the 2 times he had ridden there winning one reserve race first time there and coming second to Danny Ayres the second time as that's a track he likes and is used to riding that size of track up here as there is no small tracks up here good luck to Jamie
  2. Would depend on riders weight but most go between 6-8 psi as the tyre pressure will go up as the tyre gets hotter and the compound gets softer which then deteriorate track with no dirt will destroy tyres quicker
  3. It Will all depend what the tracks like scunny always has a blue groove after 4 heats so it will destroy tyres for fun and kings lynn was always the best for second hand tyres
  4. Coty has top equipment now he struggled at the individual meeting mainly because he had only got off a plane a few days earlierand only ridden a bike once ( the week before he came back from argentina) dew to letting last years injury heal ,and his new bikes seat was way to low which did not feel right for him having just built it the night before don't think there will be a loan fee as pretty sure berwick don't own him any more and he invested every single penny he earned last year into equipment for this year
  5. Arron summers was saying he only got four rides at scunny on Sunday before the tyre was destroyed
  6. I know Tom perry snapped the sprocket bolts clean off the rear hub in one of his races and had ignition problems in another changed the complete ignition system and waited till the NJL match finished to check everything was ok for tomorrow so all sorted now think he could be a key rider for us tomorrow at reserve
  7. Any time I have been to meetings which had been delayed are mainly dew to the medics/doctor arriving late as they have to sign in and until everybody has signed in and the form has been given to the referee and checked off then only can he start the meeting think every rider, pit Marshall ,machine examiner, medical staff, clerk of the course has to be in position before a rider can take to the track and the meeting to begin there is a lot more paperwork involved than you think
  8. Maybe we Will see the first GP on Eurosport
  9. Think I saw somewhere he is doing his exams this year and not have enough time to ride
  10. We're leaving the EU soon so should not be a problem
  11. Have seen A good few of them have been taken up by NL riders
  12. There is no rules on what engine you ride as long as it meets the SCB regulations no govern body can make them all ride the GTR engine It's up to the rider whether he wants to buy one or not do you honestly think they will make it compulsory for every rider to use the GTR,s just because they have done a deal with gerhard ?never in a month of Sundays will it happen
  13. Hence why it will never fully take off riders will ride whatever they want and no one will tell them different and pretty sure FL,s engine is not a standard out of the box GTR and no matter how many they produce they will not all perform the same ,its riders preference what they want to ride and will always be like that
  14. Would be required to have a air fence if it's got anything to do with the BSPA
  15. Spoken to a good few riders who have tried it and they all said the same they are just not fast enough and won't be buying them the GTR is about 10 bhp less than a decent GM and there is also another engine designed by BMW which is also being tried at the moment strange looking motor you have to plug into laptop to change most engine set ups for different track
  16. Jamie Halder is probably the best rider on that list has been flying in the scunny amature meetings over winter think he finished 2nd overall to winner ryan Kingsley and beat a few decent riders every meeting and has really good equipment that also makes a big deal when in Nl
  17. Cheers you get used to it ,have bikes will travel and it's part of the job
  18. From what I know There a few already booked in with some experience of nl racing we are coming all the way fromGlasgow for it we would have maybe liked to get a run out the week before but don't know if they are allowed on track for practice Pretty sure Edinburgh did this last year also and now we got Dan Bewley from it and look what he turned out to be
  19. Luke rides in the support class and got a fair bit to go to catch the open class riders
  20. Everybody always looks good in practice have they raced in amature meetings over the winter
  21. Pretty sure They can pick and chose from them all till kean gets fit unless they redeclare there team
