Having been there a few times over the last 3 years with my son racing Nl you just need to listen to the riders in the pits (home and away riders )moaning about the state of the track the worst bit is usually watering a slick bare track then it is like riding on marbles and the same holes ruts appears mid corners put a bit more shale on it and get rid of the negative camber on 3-4 and it would be ten times better racing
-
The amount of times I have been there and there’s not a bit of shale on the track and the bowser comes out you should have heard the riders moaning when standing at the top of the hill

And now with planing Consent approved for 80 houses on the Edinburgh monarchs track they might be a one season wonder in the nl https://planning.westlothian.gov.uk/publicaccess/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=OVSOU9RJGAW00 -
There was a break in at northside over new year setting a lot of the equipment on fire
-
Max or Dillon Ruml would be worth a shout
-
It’s a great shape of track but with too Narrow straights which makes the corner entries Really tight but If they banked All the corners a bit more And got rid of the negative cambers which means you can race into the bends a lot faster Without fear and probably create a lot more racing lines

Leicester struggle with 14 riders and their vans god knows how they will accommodate 40

A rider once told me If you don’t fall off or make the odd mistake now and again when your a young rider your not trying hard enough -
I remember watching Charles Wright when he was a reserve at Glasgow many years ago he was woeful and never got any better for a good few years He really struggled then he just clicked a few years ago and look at him now nobody would believe you 2 years ago if you said he would be British riders champion speedway is a sport that fxxks your head and once you get it into your head that you can beat anybody you will then go from strength to strength so I would never right anybody off these days
-
Will also get his Brit nl reduction
-
Think he has changed a his riding style this year There was no over riding and his racing had greatly improved having watched him in nearly every nl match this year him and Ellis perks were pretty unstoppable ther was no daft dive bombing wreck less passing he used his head more than the throttle think he deserves a spot
-
He is a 3 but will have to wait and see if he gets a call
-
Would hope they put a strong team together capable of winning all home matches we need the likes of if there flint perry Smith Phillips and 3 local 3 pointers
-
Lawson will be riding for the main team when devils riding at home
-
Ablitt is the better rider just now did really well last I year think if he had done a few more meetings his ave would have went up quite a bit so stopped at the right time hagon will come good but will be a season of learning this year but will be defo one for the future
-
Ablitt signs for Mildenhall
-
Really strong team
-
Yes no 2 pointer any more from what I read
-
I think Last season most reserves were pretty weak and was easy for Josh when he came into the team and banged in good points he also did beat a few good riders and him and RTD were the best reserves pairing Leicester were smashing everybody but think he will get picked up soon enough it’s really hard for us northern riders 5/6 hours travel just for home matches does take its toll on riders trying to fit in work and speedway as no chance of making any meeting with only taking a half day off your work here’s hoping we get a chance at Armadale
-
I think we Will need to see who is left once teams are announced I know most decent riders are fixed up already jack smith tom Perry Luke priest maybe also maybe suit Leon flint less travel to be home for his Berwick match on a Saturday I know what it’s like to travel 5 and a half hours each way to go to your home matches it’s a hard shift both on you and your pocket
-
And if Sam moves out of reserve we will have a strong rider to replace him
-
Pretty sure the first 3 are sorted already maybe try get James Mcbain back on a bike
