  1. yes only in speedway you can have an away leg at a home track with big advantage for mildenhall for such a important meeting and from what i am told a few clubs didn't’ think it was right either after they found out even when they still have the original date still on at kent and maybe a bumper crowd for kent also if kent win they have a chance of the title maybe then mildenhall can offer them there track to help them finish their season BSPL made right decision for the good of the sport
  2. meeting to go ahead as agreed at kent now
  3. if kent won and can’t see it really as mildenhall have strengthened big time kent would only get 3 points even if they won by 6 or more away from home you couldn’t make it up lol
  4. maybe Armadale didnt want to travel all that way incase it gets rained off
  5. will ask to see if we can get somewhere in between just to help you both out lol
  6. the way the track rode never really changed from ht 1 to ht 15 and Berwick didn’t want to come back down for a rain off even if it could be fitted in it was more the kent riders thought it was going to get called after ht 10 but the rain stopped at ht 9 for a while so both teams carried on it wasn’t really that the kent riders pulled out their rides dew to conditions it was more equipment failure amazing what wd40 can do in these conditions and some not wanting to dirty their other bike the same thing happened pretty much in the bullets pits but there riders helped each other out with letting them use their bikes while other mechanics got it going again good to see Len congratulating the bullets riders after the meeting going to be close end to the season
  7. All the boy were mucking in last night lending bikes goggles and helping each other out think we used more wd40 last night that we have used all season in the pits but most of all it was down to Gary Flint Kev Little Scott and Jamie and Jamie Robertson who kept us laughing amd helping us with encouragement all through the season when some were struggling
  8. willy going to ride for the devils in nl from what i was told tonight
  9. would they rather it be gone for good even though the rents the same the wages would be a awful lot less better something rather than the end of the diamonds
  10. would it be viable to run a NL team just to keep speedway at Newcastle for the time being surely with the likes of Freeman Smith Embelton Douglas all being local would be good for local advertising what would they need through the door to break even at that level put a decent competitive team together that could win home matches pretty sure Eastbourne and Birmingham both did it to keep the gates open
  11. try the Alona at strathclyde park sure if you mention the glasgow tigers you might get a reduced rate as most of the riders now stay there when you here think they have a deal with the hotel can only ask
  12. not really it takes a few rides to get them set up and suited to your style of riding and with every track being different it’s even harder pretty sure he will get it dailed in soon enough
  13. Greig has been riding his old standard type engine this year up until a week ago good equipment for NL but he then tried one of the newer offset engines from mitch davy in a meeting and struggled with it totally different power output to his standard engines having never ridden one in a race meeting felt the bike was in control and not him but had a couple outing after the meeting and enjoyed it pretty sure once he gets used to them will be a lot better
  14. he will be riding spoke to him yesterday
  15. yes came on said cookies bikes too slow lol
  16. as long as you put them at each end off the pits they will be fine
  17. depends which director tried to sign him lol
