there’s a big home track advantage there knowing where to ride also helps and with it having stock cars there’s usually soft patches where the holes have been filled in with the cars if it’s been wet a few days before on the track around the entry into first and third bends that’s usually covered over so you can’t see them and can straighten the bike up if not going fast enough there unless you really attack the track your coming off must be more falls there than any track in nl

ht 11 fall was caused by riders entering the first bend together trying to avoid the concrete rut on the inside which was about 1.5/2 mtrs from the inside line and ran from just before mid corner to the exit hence why they ended up bursting the air bag right at the pit gate ,Glasgow did complain at ht8 after the same thing happened at the start and wanted some work done on the corner they did grade what shale there was into the rut but by the time ht 11 it was beyond filling and was really exposed if the concrete was smooth i don’t think it would have bothered riders much but the rut was about 40/50mm deep in some of it

Glasgow complained after ht8 when the concrete rut appeared and after the crash in ht 11 the referee was called to look at the track and asked the 2 captains who both said it was pretty dangerous the Glasgow rider crashed because they were trying to avoid the concrete line mid corner as the concrete slab ran from mid corner right round till the start of the straight basically the racing line that every rider aims for

Broc has put so much time money effort into everything this year his fitness, diet ,equipment even moved closer north to cut down the travelling and has been up practicing midweek to try keep him sharp dew to only riding one league here i think ,sometimes when your trying too hard to get things right you go backwards he just needs to go back to basics and try to get a few good race meetings and pretty sure he will come good . Most of the private companies are now contracted to the nhs and most clubs that have 2 ambulances actually bought their own second hand one but still have to have enough medical staff to cover if one has to take a rider away and with medical staff at a shortage all over the country all clubs will struggle
