  1. Shocking decision especially with all the evidence available.
  2. Yes indeed but not the first time Mrs Horley has made a decision that has totally baffled virtually everyone!
  3. That actually seemed to be the case to me as I thought Dan backed off in heat 13. As you say a smart move by Mark Lemon!
  4. Agreed it was a poor decision to exclude Basso.
  5. Just announced Harris is ‘officially’ guesting for Becker but I cannot see how you can replace someone who isn’t even in the current declared 1-7? Maybe as Nicholls is ‘injured’ without officially riding for Wolves you can revert to the original declaration? Would be helpful if Wolves could have clarified the matter!
  6. If the current Met Office forecast can be relied on it certainly doesn’t look promising.
  7. Even with a one minute warning I reckon many refs would still not be able to keep the show running as smoothly as Frank Ebdon always did.
  8. 188 different tracks in total covering 31 countries which is every country in the world that has staged a meeting within the past 5 or so years.
  9. Yes that is correct as the FIM wouldn’t sanction the European Championship which, I believe, will instead be held at Sanok in February.
  10. Surprised Krzysztof Kasprzak hasn’t had a mention yet given the title thread.
  11. Interesting as Berlin are also claiming to be staging this meeting as a one off on March 4!
  12. I did hear yesterday that they are due to have a practice around tomorrow lunchtime.
  13. Spot on and that’s what should have happened. I guess the cynics amongst us might think Leicester were ok with 15 October for the home (and second) leg but Poole tried to outflank them by scheduling a Redcar KOC final for 12 October and thus a possibility of the second leg on 19/21 October for them so Leicester countered by going for 22 October. Maybe I’m just too cynical though!
  14. I thought Slough were still running? I am sure I read something about them on this very forum a few years ago!
  15. Yes indeed - he was quick enough to use social media and tell us all when the BSPL initially blocked his move to BV!
  16. The absence of several riders with questionable reason(s) was no great surprise and when you add in Musielak and Howarth at Sheffield sadly it is nothing more than we come to expect these days. Fortunately the racing was very good and Kurtz, Zagar and Simon Lambert did their very best to keep matters interesting on track by giving the King’s Lynn riders plenty to think about. Good to see Jason Edwards with a couple of race wins as well. Even Barbara Horley managed to add another clear and obvious error to her long list of career clangers by awarding Zagar second ahead of Jorgensen in heat 10.
  17. Well I guess the postponements at Poole last Wednesday and at Leicester this evening has meant the end of this competition that always seemed destined to fail.
  18. Round 5 at Leicester on 25 October! https://britishspeedway.co.uk/calendar/2022-fixtures-results/
  19. Lambert is in the top six so won’t need a pick. There are indeed six wildcards this time due to Madsen winning the Euros which will certainly help the likes of Doyle and maybe Thomsen.
