  1. Tommy Jansson Way - leading to the Gröndal track at Eskilstuna.
  2. You are correct as after Coventry beat Hull 42 -36 to win the league they beat Leicester 50 - 28 in the Midland Cup Final second leg!
  3. Brings back memories of Coventry v Hull on 13 October 1979 and an attendance of 20,000 plus. Some tracks don't get that in a season now!
  4. I first started going to Speedway at Wembley in 1970 when Freddie was team manager of the Lions! It was also great to see him attending Speedway so regularly over the years! R.I.P Freddie
  5. Allsvenskan fixtures for 2013. http://www.rospiggarna.nu/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Allsvenskan-Speedway-2013.pdf
  6. I am delighted to say I have never watched anything on Sky other than Speedway! No Speedway on Sky = Cancellation of Subscription!
  7. I remember it well. Not too many reserves have scored a 15 point maximum away from home!
  8. Thanks very much Conkers - certainly sounds worth a trip!
  9. I am thinking of taking these meetings in. Have you or any other forum members been in previous years? Any thoughts or advice would be most appreciated.
  10. Interesting map as it is the only one I've seen with a road crossing the railway line between the E18 (to the North) and Solna Train Station (to the South). I guess this must be a new road that hasn't found it's way onto many maps as yet but it may influence which Hotel I stay in!
  11. Looking forward to it - flights and hotel already booked!
  12. Hej Johan - hope you are well! Fixtures also on Vetlanda's website now! http://www.elitvetlanda.nu/index.php?page=news&stage=1&id=2178
  13. Elitserien fixtures out already! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=386352801439251&set=a.211067145634485.52019.196964253711441&type=1&theater
  14. 00000h dear - hope he doesn't struggle like at Gorican! Agreed Poole is not one of his best tracks!
  15. That would be some unsatisfactory start TR! Perhaps it's as well with all the uncertainty over where the start is, it's a good job we know where the finish is!
  16. I can't understand how so many people seem have access to the pits. Fair enough I accept that many are at the event by invitation from a rider or sponsor etc; but these days it seems too easy to hang around in the pits. I know of someone at Cardiff who decided to move from his seat to spend part of the meeting in the pits and managed to do it quite easily and without being challenged by anyone!
  17. My unbiased view was that it should have been a no brainer to exclude Holder. I have previously thought Ackroyd is a poor referee and he proved it again tonight.
  18. Agreed GW - just as easy to fly to Skavsta!
  19. Cutting out the guest bookings will help reduce the race schedule more than missing a couple of Team GB meetings!
  20. I'm thinking of flying to Gothenburg instead, a longer journey to Malilla but I can take in the Lejonen vs Nassjo fixture on the way back on Sunday! Those flying to Stockholm Skavsta, who catch the later flight back on Sunday could also take in the meeting at Eskilstuna.
  21. Great - last time I went (in 2010) it was rained off and I missed the re-staging the next day. Really looking forward to seeing a GP this time. Flying out to Zagreb from Gatwick on Friday
  22. Just think how disappointed they might be in Sweden then as they have a vibrant 80cc scene.
