Many think its laughable but that's just a clear indictment of the state of these boards today. It's a shadow of its former self. At no point have I wished injury. At no point have I said Dan wants to crash or that I would like him too. Once again, some people just fail to grasp the concept of reading between the lines.

Given I've highlighted that I've been there and done it, that would suggest that I've come off a speedway bike. So for me, that makes it a pretty disrespectful comment given you dont know the outcome of what happened. For all you know I could well have had a serious head injury. As it happens, I didn't, but that's immaterial. The usual cronies are giving the likes out and said people are just as bad. Yet again on this forum I have presented a fair point of view, not out of the ordinary, and have been vilified for it. This forum has gone down and down and down for a number of years and its mostly because of people like yourself who cant tolerate another angle. I've been involved in speedway for a number of years and can tell you directly that menatalty plays a huge part, especially after big crashes when your half made of metal. A lot of riders I've come across are terrified of another accident and some have stopped riding before it happened, but many have found the best recovery in actually falling off again without being hurt. What that does is put the demons to rest and can restore confidence in many riders. I'm not suggesting that Dan actively wants to fall. I'm saying it may well be the best thing for him right now. That view isn't out there. It's perfectly reasonable and I'm talking from my own experience and from a number of riders I have come to know over the years. I'll leave it there.

Nothing stupid about it. Ask most riders. Their biggest fear is another crash and they wouldn't normally think twice about that pre a big get off. Its absolutely normal. Dan at the moment will be thinking about his next off, that's why he is tentative. Odd as it may seem to you, it sometimes helps. But fire away, get yourself a ban if you wish.

3rd ride today made me feel a lot better about him. He was fence crawling and looked like Dan pre the crash. I still think he needs a pearler though. He will be fine at the nss on a big fair, and safe track. Away is the block and I think a crash will help him get past it, he needs to know his body will stand up to an accident and there is only 1 way to do that, and that's to have an accident

Belle Vue Colts v Stoke Potters NL 19/04/19

Was pretty dull tbh, handful of decent races. It's a talented team this colts one, reminds me a bit of the season before last. When it's like that and you come up against weaker teams it's not always a great spectacle -

It's odd that people formulate such an opinion, not sure how you have arrived at it but each to their own. Titles and play off qualification are not earned in April, even less so in a first away meeting. Well done to Ipswich, a much better team on the night. -

Is the top and bottom of it. Over a season I fully expect Ipswich to be propping the table up and BV comfortably in the play offs. -

We will beat you when we come back later in the season. Dan is still finding his fitness and Jamion has never seen the place. The first half of the season on the road is about developing and then taking the away points on 2nd visits. I have every confidence. -

He had more speed last night. Was on the pace. He was riding hard to. Just needs to sort out his gating -

Agree. I think we can carry him at the NSS, he will always be good for 2-4 points. -
Barker is shot imo. I said it at the start. He should be cleaning up at reserve but he was absolutely bobbins tonight. I think Lasse has a higher ceiling so if I were Peterborough I'd be looking to keep him. Get him down to reserve, Andersen to number 3 in the team, and a new number 1. As per the start of the season. I rate BWD very highly and thought he was excellent tonight. He will be 2nd/3rd heatleader very soon if they keep this team. And before anyone gets salty it's just an opinion so calm down already.

Not the best meeting by NSS standards. Some reasonable racing but have seen significantly better. Expected result against a poor team who had the aid of a track specialist. I rate this BV team highly. We were coasting tonight. Like I said when the team was announced it’s just a matter of time before Lidsey, who is a little gem, and Wells swap. When that happens and Dan gets himself into full swing we are going to be a quality outfit. I’m not convinced on Berge, tbh, but I think we could potentially carry him.
