Track will be a leveller. Cook goes well here and is a trapper, always useful on a gaters track. Dont agree with taking Harris. We have to start moving past this to be quite honest. His day at this level is done and frankly we have better riders that could take it, namely Dan Bewley. Injury or not, for the experience this is the time to start blooding the younger riders, it's a golden opportunity to give them international experience but we dont, because we 'think we can win it' It drives me mad. This is the very reason we dont make progress because we take past it has beens that are stepping on the toes of the next generation and I'll never agree with it. Bomber is patriotic and I'm sure a top human who will love this opportunity but he should never have been on the plane.

I’d take him at BV in a heartbeat. Goes round the NSS really well.

Can’t have an opinion on here. You get half of em picking a fight all the time as well, like the one above I’ve quoted. This forum is in the same condition as the sport and I can see why you visit sporadically. Probably the same reason I do. -

I dont have much knowledge about the current landlords but as long as the rent is being paid, and as it's a motor sport venue anyway, I cant see what objection they would have. I'm speculating at the end of the day, was just unsure as to why he would put new material in like that. Hes after saving a buck, which is fair enough, but it's currently counter productive because that meeting tonight was boring and looking at the crowd, well what crowd. Spot the heads amongst the blue seats. -

All Chapman had to do was invest in the club to keep them running. What he has done is get too involved and has put a similar clay/shale mixture in to kings lynn. Certainly looks that way to me. I just wonder how long before he introduces stox. -

Worral for me still hasn't got over the Scunthorpe crash. It's in his head and you can see it in his riding. Hes not getting amongst it like he did and he is making really poor, really basic errors in his decision making. Hes coasting and is a much better rider than the one we currently have. Now that isn't slagging off before the do gooders load it in, its constructive feedback and criticism. -

I'm sure superace can speak for himself but I'm adding my 2 cents worth anyway. That page, minus a couple decent minded fellas, is full of f#####g idiots. It's a laugh a minute actually. Here is almost as bad. Belle Vue fans are fickle, lots of them quite old and many a cucumber short of a salad. -

I think tonight he will evade criticism simply because the track was so grippy and patchy early on. Generally I completely agree. He is an accident waiting to happen. -

So he’s changed the surface then. Clay based. Like lynn? TBF the showground has seen some quality racing this season, but it’s prone to this when you start messing with it -

No streams working for me -
So all in one pot. It’s the same principle I guess, regardless of who owns the rights. It’s pretty clear that the tv package and rights for filming are worth more than the potential uplift live streaming would bring. It must be, otherwise surely it would be done.

And that is the issue alongside the BT contract. It could actually prove a pretty simple, straight forward fix for cash flow in the sport if certain people would lose the self investment and look at the greater good. BC has it in his head that the sport will implode without bt so is just stockpiling clubs to stop the bubble bursting and TR appears to selfish to relinquish his rights. There is no hope is there.

Had good speed. Actually thought he was unlucky going into bend 3 on lap 1, the other 3 moved out and filled him in. Left no run around the outside. Sometimes you just need a little luck and he didnt get any. Was quick though and was riding with aggression, something Bickley and Kemp didnt have. -

You've also got to consider the current state of the sport. For example, let's say belle vue were away to Kings Lynn. I would have absolutely no interest in paying to watch that. Certainly if monday is anything to go by. Peterborough on the other hand, I'd pay. I think people will be very selective because as you say, there is no team emphasis in this country anymore. It's more about the quality of the product. Ice Hockey is about the team. -

Well that was a quality meeting. Lambert in a class of his own. Some of the racing was exceptional as ever at the NSS and well worth the £15. Cant help but feel we were just a rider short. We are not millions of miles away like we have been in the past. From my viewing, lambert and Dan just rode the bikes harder and whilst they clearly had more speed that is important. Drew is a nice little rider, good track craft but a little too conservative. I don’t think being slammed in the main body at Sheffield has helped him, he was flying at reserve but can’t help think he needs a little more time there. Bickley was slow, really slow. Again he’s conservative but just didn’t have the legs tonight. Was impressed with Leon’s little cameo. Had more aggression in 2 laps than Kyle had in 3 rides. -

Was expecting a cut back last bend. Just not quite enough out wide but Bartosz made the inside work. These poles are so quick
