Football is exciting. The premier league is a wonderful product, and also somewhat corrupt, though that's a different story. However the same principle, personally, still applies from my perspective. If Manchester City were failing to meet my expectations then I would stop attending. As it happens, they are the most innovative, forward thinking club on planet earth, but again that's another story.

That was for the poole fans.

I dont blame him. Why turn up to a s##t track hes openly slandered? He is based in Germany, has a meeting in Germany on saturday as well. Hes had a poor season by his own standards and I fully expect he will drop the uk in the very near future. Speedway in this country not only fails to appease the fans, it does it to the riders as well. The better riders who dont need the uk will simply let it go.

There is no need to be gobsmacked. It's a pretty simple situation as I have explained above. Many many speedway fans, thousands upon thousands, share my thought process. I will be as committed and as ambitious as the promotion. When they dont meet my expectations then I will not meet theirs. Why should I?

This board really is full of stay on do gooders. We live in a world where custom essentially has to be purchased. Many people have lost there love with this sport, its proved by the huge decline of it. A sports team needs to show ambition and be competitive. BV have not done that this season so they haven't met my expectations. Why should I part with my cash when that is the case? The sport is competing for the general pound and there are better offerings available. You really have to work hard for your customers today and many speedway clubs simply dont do it. If you are willing to just carry on regardless then that is your prerogative, but it's not mine.

Not bothering with this one. Missing the play off has dampened my spirits somewhat! Lost interest so wont be attending. Would imagine swindon will win both legs actually. They have been threatening a win at the NSS all season. Even if its bv win, it will be marginal and not a prayer we are doing it over 2 legs. Shame the 2nd leg is away. Had we been within 10 points coming home then that may have lit a fire for a lot of people, as it is many just cant be assed

Jensen is a perfect example of a rider who was in form, out of nowhere, and available in the middle of the season on an average which was only going one way. However, he is now the perfect example of a rider you would stay well clear of in winter team building. Hes been too good for his own good. Such is speedway.

If it didnt it should have because ultimately its cost us a play off place rendering it counter productive. Had we made those changes we'd have arguably had 2 big home crowds for those meetings, which would have gone some way to covering the output to get people in. We are running a loss anyway, but surely a semi final and final would have softened the blow somewhat.

Another one bites the dust. Bit by bit. Just a matter of time.

He just isn't quick enough on the big tracks anymore. He needs technical tracks to stand a chance. This is a bit out there, but I think hes a little overweight and suffers on larger tracks. -

Its just not sustainable with crowds like this. -
This season I had high hope. We knew Dan and Steve were a risk and ultimately it proved exactly that way. Our middle order has been terrible all season. Wells had to go, as did berge. There was a window and we are just to loyal. I think next year a shake up is in order. I would keep Max, Jaimon and Dan Bewley. Bjerre if possible, assuming he doesnt go back to Peterborough. Everyone else I'd let go.

Small margins in terms of actually qualifying, you could argue we were just unlucky in a couple instances. Wolves home defeat a prime example. The thing I'm most pissed about is the lack of reaction and change. As phil pointed out, we could have swapped Berge and Wells before their averages changed. Doing so would have removed the margin for running out of luck and would likely have seen us actually challenging to win the thing and not just qualify, because lets be honest, there is no way we were getting the title with that team. Just qualifying isn't enough. We need to go into the play offs with a real chance of winning and I've never felt that in the previous 5 seasons. You have to speculate to accumulate and imo 2 changes should have been made when we had the chance. They didnt react.

No way on this earth will dan be challenging for number 1 next year. Hes miles away.

Soooooooo boring. Zzzzzzzzzzzz About to turn it off. Had enough. Like I said before, I’ve never seen a decent GP here. It’s follow the leader from the gate racing.
