  1. Will be little to choose in that questuon. You can only go on current form and Charles is the better rider right now. In the long term no doubt Dan will go further
  2. Never understood this thought process. Both Sweden and Poland have ran with 7 team leagues, the 2 strongest nations in this sport, with absolutely no issue.
  3. Etheridge has moved forwards. He's still susceptible away but a lot of teams will have that issue. Rene is who I thought Phil was referring to and I hope it's not him.
  4. I don't think it's that with Swindon. You just know they will make a change at some point that will make up the point deficit because no way is that tail winning a title. That's the only reason I'm backing them for the league because that top 4 with one addition and it's game over It's how Swindon operate.
  5. I'm afraid it will be. Unless Ipswich can convince NKI it's going to be a very easy top 4 to call.
  6. I think you've pinned too much into either Freddie or Hancock agreeing a deal. It's looking like that won't happen now so just the consequence of building a certain way.
  7. Etheridge. Although Phil's last post is making me think twice now I thought that was done.
  8. I'm not sure why it needs to be official. The BV team is complete. It will likely be revealed in the upcoming event.
  9. I'm not entirely sure how we could plan for something like that other than to replace him, which we have done. Half the league next season will operate without a recognised number 1, given we have lost one of the best in the division but still start with an and out number 1 seems like a decent solution to me.
  10. Don't think it would work. Ultimately riders go where the best money is so essentially forcing people to go to certain teams will only end in tears. We have seen versions of this in the past and all it did was force better riders out of the league.
  11. A wagging tail as ever with a Rossiter team and no doubt a change will be made in the course of the season. He's very good at this. Swindon imo will again win the league however premature that may sound.
  12. Huge risk going 2 points under the limit and that looks to be the case. It's solid but you are now totally reliant on people upping there averages. Dangerous game to play and imo just not enough firepower in that team. However given the split we will see in the league this season you will comfortably make the play offs. We can already pick the top 4, before a wheel is turned
  13. I don't see in what world NKI would stay. Not a chance imo he's doing 4 leagues and the GPs
  14. Tungate is at Peterborough and Steve is at BV.
  15. Personally I think the tail is long, like Swindon, but Swindon have better for power at the top of the team. It's an okay team, but I think Swindon and BV are better.
  16. No sniping at all. Are others not allowed an opinion?
  17. I am inclined to agree with this. Woffinden/Lindgren or both, I'm not sure I can see that.
  18. You will know after whatever date you choose to pick but it won't be anymore or anything different, because we have signed those riders.
  19. Another who takes things far too literal. I've explained what I mean when I use said terminology. In this country he is absolutely fine and more than apt as a 3rd heatleader. Craig Cook is also very average but the type of rider who will do you a job in a heatleader role in the UK. It's pretty straightforward stuff and I have acknowledged the improvement that Charles has made.
  20. If you look at the detail, I don't think he's got worse as the seasons have passed. Last year was a breakthrough season for him and he was an and out heatleader in the top league. He's the classic British rider, does well on his own shore. I've described him as bang average previously and by that I mean what I've typed above. He's the kind of rider you'd prefer in your team than against it.
  21. Charles has been gradually improving. He's a classic, run of the mill British rider. Will do well in this league and as 3rd HL he should get himself over a 7 point average. So, it's looking like: Kurtz Worrall Wright Bewley Kildemand Lidsey Pickering/Etheridge Given where I was a couple weeks back, I'm very happy with that team. A slight step back in the top 2 but I think we now have a stronger 3rd heatleader and better reserves. Bewley and Worrall for similar reasons, were poor last season. If they can get back to pre 2019 form then we will make the play offs I'm sure.
