Like Peterborough, and like Wolves, I think it's scuppered team building. There are a lack of number 1s to go around and imo, it should have been split this season. Lambert and cook at KL. Doyle and Batchelor at Swindon. PK and Kurtz at BV. Holder and Pedersen at Sheffield. 8 number 1s being shared by 4 teams. I don't know how we could realistically implement it, but this season will see clear gaps from 3rd downwards. Peterborough and Ipswich are going to be struggling to put a competitive side out.

I have been thinking the same thing. There is not a prayer that NKI will do a full season here. He may start or end it, but no way he does all season.

He certainly does. Lamber regressed last season but is a much better rider than Craig I expect he will prove as much this season.

There is no scenario in where starting 2 points under the building limit can be justified. Wolves are fortunate that 3 teams will likely be worse. It's still remarkable though that they have built this way. Not something I'll ever understand

Only question mark in the BV team is Peter. Everyone else will add points. Depending which Peter we get, and if it's the good version, then we will comfortably make the play offs this time.

They were never invincible for me, they made good changes at the right moment and that ultimately carried them through. Jensen being a gem of a capture. As a starting 3rd H/L I wouldn't be overly confident of him growing that average. If anything he will lose half to a point. Combine that with the tail and as it currently stands BV have a stronger team. There is only 1 reason I back Swindon, and that is down purely to the changes they will make. I'll bet my bottom dollar that once Jensen starts to lose some points of that average alongside the last places Rowe will get (no disrespect to the kid), Toby will come back into that team putting Stewart at reserve who will also lose points of his average in the main body of that team at the start of the season. Swindon react well and that is the simplicity of my thinking. Many teams will have a similar problem. I actually think we will be ok on the road. Swindon last season were awful away until the later stages when it really mattered. You only need to pick up odd points so long as your home form is solid

Better 2nd strings and better reserves. Heat leaders not as strong. It's similar in strength but the distribution of said strength is more even. I also think there is more scope for improvement. Dan and Steve will have less pressure, more so Dan who will not be starting as the 3rd heat leader. Lots on resting on PK. If he gets anywhere near the rider he can be then I make us favourite.

As expected. It's a half decent team, probably similar to last year in overall strength it's just distributed more evenly across the team this time. Should make the play offs and nice to see some new faces.

That's not a way I would operate my business, it may be a different argument now but there is a critical flaw. Nobody gives two hoots about speedway. If I'm advertising my business it's going in an environment where people will increase my cash flow as a consequence.

What space it gets its irrelevant when only the speedway community is reading it. Let's not pretend others are engaging with it outside of speedway, or certainly if they are its hardly having the desired effect. And I'm repeating myself now, that community are getting a little pissed off about it. If the team is done, the just announce it. Pretty straightforward stuff.

Yes but who's reading them? Those 7 story's will stay in the speedway circle and people within that circle are only getting pissed off. When a football club sign a player it gets announced. It's not drip fed.

Don't agree. I think Perks and Rowe are much better riders than Zak and James. Lampart was always going to be useless and whilst Stewart is unproven I fully expect him to do a better job than the pole did.

Had Tobi stayed fit then no changes would have been needed, although I still think you'd have got Jensen. This year is different with a longer tail and I fully expect that Alun will make at least 1 change.
