Confirmed 2013 Gp Riders!
Hunty replied to Hunty's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Really looking forward to next year, there is a lot more young talant and no hangers on like Harris Ljung and Pedersen who couldnt get a race win if only those three were racing! Darcy Ward will be great to watch, Tai will give it a good go but overall will struggle but expect him to do better than Bomber. Vaculik was impressive when he joined the party and its only right he gets a whole season in the GP. Hampel well he was unlucky but will always be up near the top! Here we go again! -

Referee Just Bottled Semi Decision
Hunty replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I still think he should have gone after watching it again. Pederson just gets infront and yes dosnt give him much room but he is within his right to do so, but that first little nudge from Holder pushes Pederson and leaves alot of room for Holder to use...However Holder is out of control after not coming of the gas as he should have done and the second contact on Pederson is the one that knocks him off when if he had come off the gas a tad he wouldnt have done that because he wouldnt have been out of control! -

Wow...I wouldnt have wanted to call that! He got it wrong in my opinion, rules are rules and quite simply he didnt stick to them! He got to the corner infront and trapped him, its the ideal move in speedway to put your bike infront of the the other guys bike! -
Is that possible? If he could he would jump at the opertunity!

Jason Crump To Step Down From Sgp At Torun.
Hunty replied to NeilWatson's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
When you have got Hannock riding into his 40's Crump still had every chance of winning one more! Shame for me, but the old guard will let the young ones through! Crump....Speedway Legend! -
4tt At Leicester?
Hunty replied to richiej95's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Ok Barker not there but i with King, Auty and Covatti and who ever is the fourth member should be a great meeting! We need to give Covatti all the racing time he can get ready for next year! He will be one hell of an asset! -
Well he was there and it did happen and the jury and the court watched that video and found him NOT GUILTY! Enough Said...it should never be mentiond again because it has no importance or relevance anymore!
-
Everytime ive watched him ride he has been worth the entrance fee alone! He is an Astonishing Talant! If you forget about what he has done off the track (which happened to be nothing as he was found not guilty) and what he has done on it then you realise why he has supporters. Hes a kid, he will learn from his mistake and will be a future world champion! And then what would they have done when the virdict was given? It was ages ago and its only you who keeps brinigng it back up! That court case should have nothing to with these forums or Darcy Ward
-
Full agree...and look forward to watching him in the GP's next year! He always adds a little spice to the meetings even if somtimes it is controversial and ruffles a few feathers. The court case was ages ago and should be forgotten about...He angerd alot of Brummies fans when he came to Perry Barr but to be quite frank he was untouchable and astonishing to watch!
-
Hes 20 years of age, he had a chance to ride in the GP or loose his place in poland? To me he did the right thing, he has plenty of time in his career to cut it with the big boys in the GP's but its a massive step up and you need to finacially secure to do it and him earning his monies in the Polish league this year will put him good stead for next year! These kids are the future, Tai is still a kid in speedway terms they have alot to learn but throwing them into the deep end with the sharks stright away wont allways work! Why so much hate?
-
From those 18...Niels Kristian Iversen, Antonio Lindback, and Jepsen Jensen. Vaculik will get through with Lindback getting into top 8!
-
After watching Barker at birmingham this year he has sometimes won the meetings on his own, He has been scoring very heavily and getting win in heat 15 against some very very good riders in the EL! I think he is our best prospect, Auty has struggled at number 2 which is not to much of a suprise and needs to make a step up with his equipment to leave being a double up rider! Tai needs to be given a shot at it next year, he is still very young but he can cut it in all the leagues! With him being 22 i think putting him in now wont do him any harm at all! He nearly won the british title he was gone and left the rest for dust in the first start of the final only to suffer in the re run!

The Direction That Speedway Needs To Take In The U.k.
Hunty replied to Bee's topic in 'The Way Ahead'
We need to get the best riders to come to england! Currently we dont have many here to be frank and the rule of one rider over 8 is killing the sport for me! Watching Holder and Ward fly around the track has been the highlight of my season so far! How this would happen i havnt a clue! HERES THE BEST IDEA! (proberbly already been said but i havnt read the forum Draft System just like they do in american sports! The lowest team gets the pick of the best rider availble and highest team the least! Would keep the teams closer if they one team had a better rider come up from the lower divisons! Which riders would be able to be drafted would have to be worked out but you have seen how much an impact Josh Auty and Worral have had in the elitle league! -
Copenhagen Gp Saturday 9th June
Hunty replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Just like the point out that this had been the best GP of them all so fair, full of great racing and tussles and arguments! And the SGP series will only benift by having more of these events on tempary tracks that a inside massive stadiums. As pointed out on other posts and threads http://speedwaygp.com/news/article/1451/sgp-series-returns-to-stockholm Dont that look spectacular! Im going there or Parken next year for my first GP ever! As for tonight, Hancock is simply amazing he just goes unoticed but gets into the final! Holder was hard done by but the correct call was made when Nikki P got excluded in the re-run. Harris was fantastic tonight his bikes looked quick be against the bigger boys he struggled to get to the front! -

Really looking forward to watching tonights GP. The track looks stunning and to be quite frank Parken and Cardiff are the way forward in terms of the speedway GP. Under a roof and allways capable of going ahead, purpose made temp track that will provide brilliant racing and a massive seated arena that will be packed! Gutted i miss the Britsih GP as its right on festival weekend!
