  1. Also Champions League is on a Tuesday and Wednesday night! I know a few teams that have race nights on that night! Brummies however moved theres to Wednesday aswell so there is an open space at 7pm when SKY were showing 3 diffiernt matches over the four main channels! I know its not on till 2015 but it has to be key surely!
  2. Brummies are looking at the Premier League next season?
  3. What about our approach then? 5 TROPHIES IN OUR CABINET THIS SEASON CHAMPIONS!!!
  4. Yes! All magnificant Seven of them! HEATHENS!!!
  5. The Air Fence Saga again! Lets have a whip around!
  6. Blinking heck my maths was bad! I did rush it!! Oh dear but that would be 16 + 10 so 26 meetings with 30 if you get to play offs
  7. Posted it before For the Elite League it needs a better league structure! It makes no sence to race some teams more than others! Elite League North Division Elitle League South Division 5 Teams in each league who race each other home and away twice = 12meetings Then You race the other leagues teams home and away once = 8 meetings 20 Meeting Season where you dont have to travel to far to watch away meetings to much and save petrol for many riders with less fixtures! Then the Play Offs Top of North plays 2nd of South and Visa Versa Then the final So all in all the maximum a team could ride in the league would be 24 matches instead of the 32 that happens now if a team gets through. Just a Thought!
  8. Went to Kings Lynn in the Play Off Final and couldnt think of a better place to host speedway. Everything was brilliant, the bar the shop the coffee the track the toilets are some of the best Ive visited this year! The stands were at a brilliant height but that is for the stock car racing i suppose cause the wall around the outside was high! Been to Stoke and thats a differnt story all together, horrid place but only needs some TLC and a lick of paint and some grass that looks nice and again were away! Buxton aswell was great, yes it was containers and portacabins but just needs some TLC and spuruce up and again it would be better! If the Heathens ever get a track I would help out cleaning, tidying litter picking and I would really look after it as it would mean so much to me!
  9. I can well an truley say that every single Heathens rider has developed this season... You look at Max Clegg and what he has acheived, Nathan has come on and yes has struggled at home but away on big tracks he has scored big. Starkey has gone from 5.70 average to 9.00 and is now riding premier league speedway and now looks to good to ride in this league for next year! We are developing riders, Roynon has come through NL, Tai rode in the old conference league and many others have...Barker Auty. The league is great, great racing that beats most of the EL some of the time but isnt it a competive league what they need hwo will they develop if its not a competition!
  10. This match was won by the Manager who was willing to GO BIG to go forward. The signing of Hancock was a master stroke and is the reason why Poole flew up the league to reach the play-offs! Birmingham method of cost cutting, or saving money has built them a good team but a team that has stood still over the season and everyone else has got better. I wouldnt be paying £20 to watch 15 unnessary heats from a Brummies Point of view and would use it as a bit of a protest of what a shocking display it was a week ago. I have a soft spot for the Brummies as i watched them last year but from the start of season of changing the race night just so they could get Barker to ride to his failed signing to the constant moaning by the management about the state of how things are is boring.
  11. Midlands Today finally getting Tai on the show, no footage but a big plug for the meeting with Wolves next week! Normal questions, the colar bone where hes been and where he has come from. Also a little well done to the Dudley Heathens winning the National League! A lil may go a long way!
  12. 100% he was brilliant last night, that lad was under so much pressure going into heat 7 on his own against a unbeaten Morris and very confortable rider in Clegg. He gated like a rocket and was clear down back stright but a little bit of inexperoance showed which caused him to fall with the pressure. Cannot fault the lad he was very good at Monmore and for such a young kid the more track time he has the better he will be!
  13. How far up Dracy Ward are you! His tone of Voice is really quiet intresting haha!
  14. Part and part of speedway...we get 15min of action and your saying that because a rider falls off on turn three the race should be stopped and award is a little bit short of a joke! 9/10 times you will see the rider doing everything he can to get off the track we did last night at kings lynn and I even saw one of the best lay downs by a very young rider not sure who it was last night to avoid the tumbling Nathan Greaves. It is anoying and it could be classed as cheating but it happens and thats speedway. You can award a race just because your team has gated well... Difficult topic but its fine as it is...cause controvsery and discussion and gives us a little more racing!
  15. Was a great night, we have some very passionate fans and the 'banter' was good last night and full respect for young Robert Lambert cause he did get the brunt of it for his actions at Monmore this season. But he didnt do anything untoward and was very gracious in defeat which is very good to see. I know we won and it was a very significant moment in the clubs history but some of our fans do take it a little to far and some people need to reign it in a little. King Lynn were predicted by most to finish 5-6th and some very good signings by Allitt moved them onto being a great force. Great club Kings Lynn the track and stadia are supurb and they were well supported last night. Loved the LED screan at the back of turns 1 and 2 as it showed everything lap times winning times and results! Bostin night and we did #OMMERDEMALL!
  16. Running out of Time, the managment went for the first two available dates and just so happens to be this Tuesday and Wednesday! Still deciding on wether to go to the away fixture but would love to see a great match and hopefully see us win! In the Cup we were 28pts up at home but Lambert turned up in a very strange mood which saw him racing around like a madman on the parade doing practise starts just past the start line and was usherd on by the ref! Strange night for him! Fingers crossed we win, should do but you never know! If i dont go next wedneaday away we still have the Cup final to parade the trophy infront of our fans! OMMER UM!
  17. 10 Greg Hancock 7 Tai Woffinden 7 Martin Vaculik 5 Adrian Meidzinski
  18. Makes you wonder where the club is now heading if they can offer a 16year old lad a career in the sport with the Heathens! If i was his father or parents I would have asked where the club was going and if they do have a future in the sport, maybe a new track or heading into a high league in future years to stem young Max's development!
  19. That the Lewis Incident? Well it was gate one that touched the taps and lewis wasnt sitting still in gate 4 so with gate one rider looking the other way he didnt see Lewis getting a tad angry at his bike in gate 4! If it was the rider in gate 3 then i could understand why it would be the wrong call but lewis had no effect on the rider in gate one who touched the taps! Got lucky but he had to ride Starke's bike in the re run and struggled!
  20. “It is what it is. It has been a long old season and you’ve heard a lot of national anthems. But the last national anthem you hear is the one that counts. In a fortnight’s time, you’re going to hear mine.” Love That!
  21. SWEDISH PREDICTIONS 11 Darcy Ward 9 Greg Hancock 9 Neils K Iversen 7 Krzysztof Kasprzak Sweeden!
  22. If they had told fans to stay away and explain that it would be used as a practise then it wouldnt be to bad! But they are not allowed to do this, not alowed to disrespect the opoposition! Fact of the matter is, they could have won and booked a practise session somewhere else this week if they wanted to do this! Nathan Greaves has been doing a few laps after the last few home meetings because he is bang out of form and low on confidence! Wrong move by the Heathens Team Manager and very disheartening on alot of fan who traveled!
  23. Should be a great night! Kyle Howarth has been a class above most in the National League and Lewis Blackbird of the Heathens at 26 years of age has been the only to really push him! He made Paul Starke look a bit slow when he came last week to Monmore Wood!
