Moto Cross number for Tai and i think Holder aswell, not sure on Hancock and Smoli! Its a bit a branding thing, same as the F1 has done this year with every driver having a number like moto gp!

Away day specialist is Greaves... was amazing at Kings Lynn and IOW, loves the big tracks As for his Monmore form he never looked right after this big off, but come towards the end of the season it was looking back to how he started. He was a rookie in the league last year a bit of stability and given a second shot will do no end to his confidence! Branford would make us look amazing! Him and Worrall were the best two to ride monmore last year and he was very quickly snapped up after the Under 21's final to ride as a guest for the next meeting. Got a feeling thats the route were going down! Ommer Um Cradley!

The draft happened on twitter to quick to be happening one rider at a time. They rattled through like it had been already made! The draft wasnt like they going up to the board and picking a rider one at a time. It has got to have been influenced for it to end up the way it has!
-
One rider each team was protected? What happened to that rule! Clegg getting picked 13th is astonishing from Lecister! I just dont understand the order it went in?
-
Anyone got the full order in which the way the riders were picked! Everyone looks pretty good to be honest, Leicster look a little weak but thats due to Max Clegg being very inexperianced, so hope he can prove me wrong. Im a massive fan of Cleggy so but i was suprised he got a pick and so early on.

Brilliant news...National League Speedway will be great if we can get a couple more teams having a development team. Its brilliant to watch and its what BRITISH speedway needs!

Ben Anislie Ian Bell Hannah Cockcroft Mo Farah Chris Froom Leigh Halfpenny A P McCoy Andy Murray Christine Ohuruogu Justin Rose Can understand the ones not in bold but i belive Tai Woffinden has been more of a champion than the ones in bold! Three of them were part of sucsessful TEAM and they had good perfoamces but Tai Woffinden has won a world championship that has been across europe and a bit of the world, raised alot of money from supporters of a minority sport. -

Asked constantly and nobody knows but I watch the National League with Dudley and ID pay the same prices now in the Elite league to watch the 'Standard of the riders in that League Develop!' -
No Chris Holder In 2014 In British League.
Hunty replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Alot of this will be that he still has injuries to overcome, alot will also be that he is said more meetings but less money would see him pull out of british speedway! How many more to follow? Freaky that...Basicly saying the same thing! -

You should be so lucky! Wont lower the price at all. I dont see what the issue is with watching these youngsters ride. Many a Heathen fan will tell you that the racing on Tuesday night is a darn lot better than on a Monday night when Wolves Ride! Yes its quicker but the riders in the EL are not on a level playing field finacially and this factor dose not aid good close racing. Look at Smolinski, got a good bike under his new sponsers and he romps around at the front every week and has got himself to the GPs by having that backing. I think you will be suprised when you see the NL ride and how great it is to watch. -
So no promotion of the sport just people who like speedway can pay to watch it! Id rather go without SKY...The big clubs need to get budgets again and not throw SKY money at just wages alone!

It works in american football, it keeps the leagues close and nobody gets all the big stars and best players! Isnt it the same at the start of every season when riders get dropped and replaced! Part and part of sport and professionals (yes i know there young men) should take the positives not the negatives...Prove people wrong! -

He will just have to wait for next years draft! And maybe they could use the draft system that American sports have! The team that finishes last gets first pick of the fresh young talent! -

The Heathens have a few assets that may be in the frame for a ride next year in the EL....That could be intresting! -

Will we see a influx of team starting a NL team up? Kings Lynn and Coventry must be very happy with there move to start National League teams up! Think of the assets they are going have in a couple of years time to use in the Elite league Main Bodies and at 6 & 7! Really good move this from the guys at the AGM, all leagues benifit, the riders benifit the clubs benifit and BRITISH SPEEDWAY in 5-10 year time should reap the rewards! -

If all the reserve riders are going to do it ride against each other surely thats just like what they do in the National League! The riders need to be riding with the better riders to push them on to being better riders! I dont know how its going to work but I hope tht the youngsters get more of an opertunity in bigger races! -

Lets just say now that alot relys on the National League over the coming seasons. Ridersa are needed for the EL then we need to start brining in the young youngsters into the national league quicker and make it a more attractive sport to participate in! -
2014 European Speedway Championships
Hunty replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in International World of Speedway
The Sayfudinov coments are a tricky, he says that there is no profit in GP racing and that medals or GP's hes won have not attracted sponsers from Russia...What is he really after then, the money or the glory! Can he have both? Look at Tai now...he well and truley has the Money with the Monster backing he nis now getting and then look at the glory he has got! The one thing that anoys everybody in speedway is the Money aspect, thats what everyone wants and not everyone gets it! There is not enough to go around. The thing about this bickering between the SEC and the SGP is that the riders only seem to be after one thing. Where as I can see where the SGP are coming from with the riders riding in another series they run the risk of injury. As of last year those injuries, all be it they didnt come from SEC racing cause a very intresting Title challenge to become an easier passage for Tai even with all the drama that came with him winning it. Maybe Sec should look at doing a Winter series that takes place in Indoor arenas and then they dont have to worry about them crossing over and causing championships to be defucnt. -
And hence why Dudley management wont mke the step up because it puts the club at risk! If we can get our own stadium then we can have our own income but at the moment we put money into the rent of Monmore and we substane by having a good support and low fees to pay! Brummies are in a difficult boat where they have a support and income that dose not provide enough for the outlay they have! Brummies going into Premier League and a cheap squad might work but the fans wont watch and wont return!
