Yeah but a young rider on the up, id have him down as an improver next season Maybe the job hes been offered is megabucks and simply too good to turn down, however its a shame to see a great talent packing in if indeed its true
-
Have to wonder how on earth a young rider like dyer who has racked up many points this season is losing money!!!

Still not the same without both sides being strong as possible? Ringwood going home with fixtures still left to run is farcial and wheres glasgows dane? Edinburgh have nearly all pl riders to chose from and the best they can get is risager? A second string? Yeah right -

Birmingham V Poole Grand Final 2nd Leg
Pinny replied to pirateandi's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Youve been saying how crap poole are apart from Ward and Hancock for weeks now yet they make the final and romp away with the first leg and you say they have good back up? You talk complete nonsense and your anti poole rants are comical you get so worked up Just face it poole had a bad start but made changes and have come good when it matters and the other teams have flopped. Poole have been the form team for weeks now and despite the fact they finished fourth they have always looked the favorites to me and to most others including the bookies -
Id put mjj and thj in Mjj won a gp already as wild card and was decent in his other gp Thj always impressive as wild card Please no lindgren he is the new harris Jonssons a rider i like but on the way down now Holder mjj thj and gollob for me

How is what i said sick? Only a clown like you would think it is. What i meant is no fully grown adult would think hes a prat so your mates at swindon must be little kids, its a joke ffs get off your high horse Some could call you sick for taking the piss out of orions spelling has it ever dawned on you he may have dyslexia? Now that is what i call sick Stop trying to make out im calling you a paedo when im clearly not. Trot along silly sidney
-
Its not sick i know exactly what i meant by it, basically saying the only people at swindon who think orion is a prat would be little kids. Only a sicko would read more into that I know many many swindon fans who know Orion and never heard a bad word about him (have about the chinese takeaway he owns tho ) Your the prick Sidney, not me not orion and not Blazeaway. Whoooooosssssh:d
-
Scooby doo was telling me the other day what a prat you are as well Sidney.

Hanging round with toddlers in public can be a dangerous thing sidney

I retract my last post, i forgot andy doesnt maintain brums website anymore. But i know andy charges a set up fee for making the website and then a monthly maintaince fee for running the site, hence why i thought he may of been owed money. However, the bspa surely wouldnt have a guy running their site and many others as well as controlling all clubs servers if he has a habit of shutting down servers willy nilly, would they? There is more to this story than what people think i am almost positive of that. And when the truth comes out there will be some people looking rather silly
-
If you own a mobile phone contract and dont pay your bill, they cut you off until you pay up. Same as sky tv, virgin tv etc. if you dont pay your rent you get evicted. Same as websites. Although i dont think andy does brums website anymore so this isnt the case, as i said was only a suggestion.
-
Where were you expecting him to operate his business from - the houses of parliament? He runs a few websites, why splash out on an office or building when he can simply run his business from home minimizing all costs. I have not spoken with andy at all, but would bet a large anount of money that his name will be cleared when the truth emerges . He is not the type of guy and that i do know for a fact.
-
Of course its going to be on his site, its a business site for god sake. Whats disgraceful is a bunch of fans posting exactly where he lives and what type of house he lives in on a public forum . Why are you doing that? What has his address got to do with anything? You would be very wise to wait for an official explination, as im sure one will be issued, before lynching the guy. Most of you dont know him, I do and many others will back me up in saying its not a stunt he would pull without a very good reason. Coupled with public facts regarding birmingham speedways financial problems this season i would hazard a guess there is more tothis than proving a petty point. Dont forget andy povey has a very very good friendship with birminghams phil morris, unless that has changed in the last couple of months
-
Why are people putting Andys address on this forum? Disgraceful.
-
I have known Andy Povey for a few years now and have no reason to believe he would shut down the site for no reason. The last season Newport Speedway operated Andy came in and run the site with me, he updated it when i was away working free of charge and never asked for a bean. He programmed a lot of the final design whilst i done the graphics and again didnt charge a penny. He knew Newport were in the crap financially and wanted to help. I remember when the BSPA/go speed brought in the rule that all club sites were to be hosted on the bspa server and .co domains to be used and they were extremely arrogant in their way of instructing you to do so, i received the email myself. Clubs got their domain and webspace for free so werent too bothered but i thought it stank from the start. Im onl Only making a suggestion BUT i know enough about andy to know the site wouldnt of gone offline without a very good reason. Lewis Parsons

LOL. I received a similar threat off this geezer before HRF, didnt amount to anything when i seen him though at reading
-
I appreciate what your saying BW, but remember how much flack the poole fans got last season for saying injuries ruined their play off final? Ward, for whatever reason, was missing and was the leagues star rider and would of been nailed on to score more than harris' 8 points Pawlicki was averaging ten at home albeit from about four meetings but again there was nothing to suggest he wouldnt of scored more than the 5 points rr accumilated for him. I remember shovvy getting loads of stick for suggesting the pirates were weakened which going on your theory suggests he was right
-
Johnston was never a favorite of mine, always classed as mr entertainment etc yet seemed an extremely plain rider to me. Was always a 6-7 point man though . Cant see how he was expected to suddenly change that at Wolves. forgive me if i am wrong but when he replaced ermolenko was sam not already well past his sell by date? From memory i remember him having two maybe three seasons as a top heatleader between 1999 and his retirement altho appreciate he was absolutely world class prior to that

The days of just hoping a decent team will attract big crowds are long gone Look at bradford 97 gone in 98 and were el champs racing in front of 800 a week Brum topped the league this year and swindon second both promotions complained at lack of crowds Newport 2011 ko cup winners , the top team in the pl for second half of that season crushing most teams at home getting big away wins with three genuine pl stars brilliant racing under the floodlights yet struggled to get 350 a week These days you need to promote the club extremely well to get decent crowds, a decent team alone wont get crowds in

Get in poole!!! -
What has happened to Bach, seemed destined for the top a few years ago but his workington scores havent been too clever, well away from home anyway.
