There is absolutely no doubt that Thomsen is the better rider internationally but until they both ride a full season together in the UK, youll never know whos better in the UK. Thomsens progress has been nothing short of outstanding though. If i had to tip whod make it further in the sport... Id tip thomsen. Hes already establishing himself over europe.

Gollob also used to give up and not even try if the track wasnt to his liking i.e slick. How many times did we see him pack up whilst at the back in gps? Quite a lot. A great rider but Pedersen much better - Nickis been a top rider in the leagues for about 15 years - he averaged 10.5 in the EL once , gollob never would of done that purely due to the amount of small tracks.

Ward will win a world title, at least two Id say Cant agree Gollob was better than hancock or pedersen, pedersens been a top world class performer for well over a decade now and has always been entertaining, in his earlier gp days he used to pass people for fun. Also nicki and greg are decent on any kind of track - gollob at times had limited ability on a small track And who can forget nickis dominating world title win in 07 or 08?? Id put pedersen down as second or third best in the last 20 years behind trick and maybe crump.

Think Mellgren needs a move away. Quality rider but seems to of gone a bit stale at Rye - despite the injuries. That said he had a horrific back injury that maby wouldnt of returned from. Was hoping hed be pushing kennett for number one this year tho.

Used to love my visits to Exeter. Why was Hills money used recently at Plymouth - surely for a club that reportedly get about 1000 fans a week and have been near the foot of the PL since coming up , the club should be making a good enough profit?!

AJ is one of the better riders to watch - always has been entertaining on track. But if he doesnt make top 8 this year i wouldnt think he will be back in as a wildcard . Maybe the kick up the ass he needs.

No wealthy speedway riders? The likes of Crump and Rickardsson would of made well over a million during their careers without doubt - you can guarantee the likes of pedersen and hancock are more than a bit wealthy as well

Does edberg like any form of track?? Complete waste of space and a shocking attitude it seems as well. Why the promotion are wasting money on air fares for him is anyones guess . Replacing him with Carr would surely be a no brainer all round Thormblom looks impressive though - got to be a positive. The berwick 1-7 looks very poor overall though atm
