  1. Brum making a fool of himself again, his argument was thj wasnt world class and lindgren was better and has been proved wrong Lindgren had his chance to make the top 8 this year when ward was banned and nki was injured yet he bottled it big time. Cracking UK rider, average overseas rider as already said. Thj and AJ are the two best Swedes at the mo. Not really up for debate.
  2. Just seen THJ is 8 positions higher in the swedish league than lindgren and 3 higher in poland. Game, set and match. Lindgrens superb in britain - but thj outclasses him everywhere else and ill wager he scores more gp points this term than lindgren managed last?!
  3. I didnt say in the el, i said in the gps and poland sweden Thj always impresses as a wild card and and is above lindgren in poland , is he in sweden too? And thj is the swedish champ. Id say thj is better than lindgren and is certainly world class
  4. Jonsson aside, on the international stage id say Thj is swedens top rider. Id say hes world class - every time ive seen him as a wild card he has impressed Lindgrens anything but world class - very much like hans andersen. Pretty good in the uk but average to poor in the other leagues and world cup
  5. Your the one whos persistently said the elite is the elite league despite many saying the pl isnt far off its standard.... Haha.
  6. He will be a good signing. Got lots of time for robbo always trys one hundred percent, out and out racer despite the injuries hes suffered . Always remember his guest performances for the wasps when wato was injured absolute class
  7. I tell you what doesnt make sense is woffy winning the title whilst spending a full season in the uk in 2013 then because he wasnt as good in 2014 he thinks dropping the el will do him good Whats the betting he wants to ride in the el again before the seasons out? Should be told to naff off.
  8. I think a fully fit Lanham on a sub 5 ave on a track he knows well could be a very shrewd signing. His best days are long gone - we know that, but he still posted some big scores from the main body of the team on a track he has never been any good on in sheffield last season. Worth a shot
  9. Whos the new owners or backers at glasgow then? Have the malletts refound their passion for the sport?
  10. Cooks gotta be up there to be fair, 2013 espiecially as much as i dislike him In the early 00s you had about 25 riders who were top dogs at the same time in one league - we had wato smart and henriksson one year all on 9+, and that year with iversen. Class days and as much as the pl is still mega competitive - you cant beat the late 90s early 2000s.
  11. Not to mention Watson, henriksson, gjedde, zorro, zagar, bird.... Could go on all day!
  12. K bjerre L bjerre Bertznon Thorsell Pk Awful top five imo
  13. What a shocking line up again. Bottom three for me.
  14. Be interesting to see who joins the Bjerre brothers at Wolves
  15. Josh auty in the fast track? Jesus christ David howe will be drafted next!
  16. Top rider in his day - good to see him bow out on a high as a heatleader Quality for newcastle back in the day
  17. I think AJ is capable of maintaining a near 9 figure. Andersen never wants to know if he doesnt like the track and heard he is very unpopular amongst team mates wherever he rides. A team with AJ and harris spearheading it would excite me much more as a Coventry fan. I know what you mean regarding averages but for a number one rider id rather a the best rider we could get regardless of averages When Lanham was newports number one on 7.5 id rather us sign a 10 pointer whod average 9 rather than keep him at number one and have him maintain his average.
  18. Aj is the world #6, where is andersen? Aj would still be a top scorer in the uk and is a racer meaning he would overtake some of the dross andersen couldnt when behind them. Andersen is on a downward spiral - and was abysmal in the play offs
  19. Surely andersen cannot be considered a number one anymore His hard overtaking moves are a thing of the past - a gating tart now who loses to some woeful riders if they out gate him. Also went completely missing at the business end of 2014 Surely the cov management should be doing all in their power to tempt jonsson and harris back Jonsson, harris, scheiln as top 3 and roynon and sargeant as reserves then fill in the gaps Looks good to me
  20. We will see Bjerre, bjerre, wells, proctor, thorsell, worrall and another, dear god what a side wolves will have compared with nki, woffy, mads, porsing, lambert, kerr and rose 😄😄
  21. Strong rumour out here in Aus atm that woffidens set for kl with bjerre heading to monmore with his brother lasse
  22. Klindt too good for the pl?? Perhaps he should be told to p155 off to polands elite league then . Unless he makes the gate hes an absolute tart, 6 point pl man as his average suggests.
  23. Has this forum seriously stooped to this level? I remember playing this game with a few mates before. It was when we were waiting to participate in the year 1 egg and spoon race, aged 5 .
  24. Well they have nothing to lose - if peterborough speedway goes bang mid season they have lost no money at all! What takes balls is the people putting their money in! Its like giving someone 40k to walk into a casino with - if they leave with more than 40k everyones happy, if they lose all that 40k they wont care as its their money. Every single person should be signing a contract that if within say three years the club folds, they get their money back. Youve got a main sponsor of a couple of riders and a team manager forming a promotion - does this ring any bells of another former PL club that is no longer around? Sorry but the whole venture sounds a disaster and even if i was a peterborough fan who ha donated money - id want a guarantee that the club wont be folding come the end of the league cup!!
