I think AJ is capable of maintaining a near 9 figure. Andersen never wants to know if he doesnt like the track and heard he is very unpopular amongst team mates wherever he rides. A team with AJ and harris spearheading it would excite me much more as a Coventry fan. I know what you mean regarding averages but for a number one rider id rather a the best rider we could get regardless of averages When Lanham was newports number one on 7.5 id rather us sign a 10 pointer whod average 9 rather than keep him at number one and have him maintain his average.

Aj is the world #6, where is andersen? Aj would still be a top scorer in the uk and is a racer meaning he would overtake some of the dross andersen couldnt when behind them. Andersen is on a downward spiral - and was abysmal in the play offs

Surely andersen cannot be considered a number one anymore His hard overtaking moves are a thing of the past - a gating tart now who loses to some woeful riders if they out gate him. Well they have nothing to lose - if peterborough speedway goes bang mid season they have lost no money at all! What takes balls is the people putting their money in! Its like giving someone 40k to walk into a casino with - if they leave with more than 40k everyones happy, if they lose all that 40k they wont care as its their money. Every single person should be signing a contract that if within say three years the club folds, they get their money back. Youve got a main sponsor of a couple of riders and a team manager forming a promotion - does this ring any bells of another former PL club that is no longer around? Sorry but the whole venture sounds a disaster and even if i was a peterborough fan who ha donated money - id want a guarantee that the club wont be folding come the end of the league cup!!

I think peterborough fans have a very good right to know how much the potential promoters have put in as if it all goes ** up mid season then assuming swales and the other guy havent put any money in, theyve lost nothing!!! They should of put up half of the required money at least - whats the difference between them running it and your average joe? Anyone could come on here demanding 40k to keep the club alive for a season!!! Cant see any positives out of this tbh - whats going to happen when the crowds are rock bottom as is the team, which is probable after reading potential teams being assembled on here!! This stinks of another club closing mid season IMO.

Sad to see how rye have ended up Came pl in about 2002 and within a couple of years were a major force, star riders, big crowds, loads of silverware. Ever since woffinden lef they have been garbage! Reminds me of the later years of tim stones era, had it all as the most up coming pl team at one point, massive crowds, top riders who the crowd bonded with massively then threw it all away by doing everything on the cheap. Huge shame

Cooks class in the pl .... Can see him being another wilson/stoney Wont make it in europe tho gotta be near 30?? Doyles already made it in europe and into the gp series.

I thought Wato done okay for Glasgow Came back that year after smashing his arm to pieces a few meetings into the season before, and his season before that again was cut short through a shattered ankle He averaged well over 8 for glasgow and was a definate improvement on stancl who was shocking that season
