If Mellgrens fully fit then this move makes Rye stronger! Kennett mellgren jakobsen aspegren boxall bowen and lykke doesnt look too bad a side now imo

Yet riders can sign from the continent and have two bikes ready instantly?! Rubbish i bet bridgers already sorted

Makes a change not seeing travis mcgowans name on a thread like this!
-
Very talented rider if hes in the mood and superb to watch as well.
-
Both complete garbage going on those figures.
-
Ulamek would average more than that starting figure quite comfortably i reckon
-
Id suggest his decline last year was down to the fact hes now very old and was returning from another bad bang! How was his form in sweden?look at some of the riders he lost to when he returned to wolves. Bjarne pedersen would average more than pk all day long in next years el
-
He would be a better signing than karlsson for sure. Hes rode as a number one for god knows how long and is still averaging way above 7. As a second heatleader hed probably add to his figure. Karlsson is old now , people suggesting he will add a point to his average are being silly
-
The same place as yours will be this time next year, probably!
-
How long has AJ been away from the UK? Near 5 years surely! Lindgrens been gone a year for god sake.
-
Was 9.00 back in 2000 - i remember Harrison signing for glasgow on 9.00
-
Brilliant side IMO. Bags of room of improvement from Kurtz, Worrall, Holder and even Josh G.
-
Like gjedde with berwick, the promotion should of acted earlier at glasgow and bombed him out. Their own fault for keeping him so long, i think its quite clear what was going ! But im not going to slag the situation off - we signed Gjedde on 6.5 or similar and before he had turned a wheel for us we knew hed average near 9 - didnt expect him to average well over 10.00 with bonuses tho! Wolbert will average close to 9 next season - without doubt.
-
Brum making a fool of himself again, his argument was thj wasnt world class and lindgren was better and has been proved wrong Lindgren had his chance to make the top 8 this year when ward was banned and nki was injured yet he bottled it big time. Cracking UK rider, average overseas rider as already said. Thj and AJ are the two best Swedes at the mo. Not really up for debate.
-
Just seen THJ is 8 positions higher in the swedish league than lindgren and 3 higher in poland. Game, set and match. Lindgrens superb in britain - but thj outclasses him everywhere else and ill wager he scores more gp points this term than lindgren managed last?!
-
I didnt say in the el, i said in the gps and poland sweden Thj always impresses as a wild card and and is above lindgren in poland , is he in sweden too? And thj is the swedish champ. Id say thj is better than lindgren and is certainly world class
-
Jonsson aside, on the international stage id say Thj is swedens top rider. Id say hes world class - every time ive seen him as a wild card he has impressed Lindgrens anything but world class - very much like hans andersen. Pretty good in the uk but average to poor in the other leagues and world cup

Tai Woffinden Misses Next Years El
Pinny replied to phillipsr's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Your the one whos persistently said the elite is the elite league despite many saying the pl isnt far off its standard.... Haha. -
He will be a good signing. Got lots of time for robbo always trys one hundred percent, out and out racer despite the injuries hes suffered . Always remember his guest performances for the wasps when wato was injured absolute class

I tell you what doesnt make sense is woffy winning the title whilst spending a full season in the uk in 2013 then because he wasnt as good in 2014 he thinks dropping the el will do him good Whats the betting he wants to ride in the el again before the seasons out? Should be told to naff off. -
I think a fully fit Lanham on a sub 5 ave on a track he knows well could be a very shrewd signing. His best days are long gone - we know that, but he still posted some big scores from the main body of the team on a track he has never been any good on in sheffield last season. Worth a shot

Whos the new owners or backers at glasgow then? Have the malletts refound their passion for the sport?
