No idea why woffy struggled so much in '14 but a reigning world champ shouldnt be struggling to average anything less than 8.5 if their full attention is being applied. The fact that he used to bleat on about a heavy schedule pointing at the UK set up didnt help his cause. A number one dropping from 9+ to just over 7 is unacceptable in any case. Even worse that he was world champ at the time, and was flying elsewhere.

Gollob also used to give up and not even try if the track wasnt to his liking i.e slick. How many times did we see him pack up whilst at the back in gps? Quite a lot. A great rider but Pedersen much better - Nickis been a top rider in the leagues for about 15 years - he averaged 10.5 in the EL once , gollob never would of done that purely due to the amount of small tracks.

Of course the most likely club will be Wolves but you never know, your the one making a wally of yourself on this forum on a daily basis and i will happily have a $100 bet with you right now that in the next decade, Woffy will have ridden for a UK club other than Wolves? The fact that another club has gone in for him is irrelevent - i stated that a club could make a good deal he cant refuse. The club interested in him could of been leicester and they could of offered a poor deal. I cannot wait for the day Woffy does sign for another club, as it will happen I am sure.

Makes me laugh how Brum is so in denial about Woffy only ever wanting to ride for Wolves!! You only have to look at Andreas Jonsson who said for years he would never ride for anyone other than Coventry - yet has spent much of his UK career as a Lakeside rider. There have been many cases where a rider has said something and people believe them, i remember being stood with a few fans at newport in the old bar under the grand stand at Newport with Craig Watson in 2001(?) , hed just reeled off a fifteen point max for the Kangaroos against the young lions and was asked if he would be back at Newport the following season (he was at Poole at the time). He said no chance, the only club hed ride for would be poole in the future. Who announced him as their number one a few weeks later - Newport! I have no doubt that Woffindens heart lies with Wolves in the uk but it only takes one good offer from a decent club like poole or lynn and hed be there.

Ward will win a world title, at least two Id say Cant agree Gollob was better than hancock or pedersen, pedersens been a top world class performer for well over a decade now and has always been entertaining, in his earlier gp days he used to pass people for fun. Also nicki and greg are decent on any kind of track - gollob at times had limited ability on a small track And who can forget nickis dominating world title win in 07 or 08?? Id put pedersen down as second or third best in the last 20 years behind trick and maybe crump.

Think Mellgren needs a move away. Quality rider but seems to of gone a bit stale at Rye - despite the injuries. That said he had a horrific back injury that maby wouldnt of returned from. Was hoping hed be pushing kennett for number one this year tho.
