Been nearly a fortnight now since the klindt to leicester rumours started, isit actually true or is it just that, rumours?

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Pinny replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Why you discussing this here? As taylor poole is a scunny rider, shouldnt you be discussing this on the aussie speedway thread? -
Whats the real Mr Blobby up to these days? Im sure hed score more points than mitchell davey
-
Mitchell f*****g davey?! how the hell can an aussie whos been riding in the uk for the best part of a decade line up as a 3.00 NL reserve, has he ever even rode in the nl?! Total joke if this is allowed to happen.
-
Look how well he done in poland tho in the top league. Id wager he would average ten if he signs for pboro.

Should Roscoe Step Down As Gb Team Manager ?
Pinny replied to KIRKYLANE's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Screeny didnt last long as sheffield manager did he?! -
That team will take some stopping if bjerre signs. Hell average 10 no problem, nbj has plenty of scope for improvement whilst id expect a freshly prepared Grondal to clean up from reserve. Add in ostergaard whos always going to average 8, i think this side could, injury free, go all the way. That is assuming its bjerre and not someone like porsing.

Leicester should be heavily fined if they field that team above. Walasek, wozniak, compton, klindt, stead, starke and auty. What a disgraceful team. How are they struggling to field a team when their probably the third best supported club in the el? Are they actually struggling or is dh being a tight ass?
-
Also make sure the doctor stays clear of the bar 😂
-
Yet some claim compton was a safe rider 😂
-
Didnt he cause that horrific injury to Dave mullett at reading all those years ago?
-
Sure that was in 01 when neathy was riding for newport? Wasnt it something to do with Smithy (aussie scott smith) and rob grants partying antics? Certainly was some dodgy rumours about what they were getting up to whilst on one particular night out!!!

It seems to me, the Aussies biggest concern is the amount of Chinese coming in. As well as vietnamese, koreans, etc. Although most developers who our company work for are owned by asians, so in a sense the aussies have them to thank for the boom in construction work (in Melbourne at least). Their buying deserted land everywhere here and building six-twelve storey high apartment blocks. If it wasnt for them, we wouldnt have half as much work as we have on at the moment.

Not sure about that, looked a horrible move to me! Always liked phil though, but will admit he was at the least a very ruthless, hard rider. He didnt have the nickname "philthy phil" for nothing !
-
He was on his way back to the pits when someone headlocked him and he was wrestled to the floor by about half a doZen glasgow riders and management, once on the floor was repetitively kicked in the head and shoulder. I think he came back a few weeks after when his injury had healed and i am pretty sure he had a clash with pickering now youve mentioned it, on turn four at newport. I think that was a season ending crash? Still, beveridge was fully to blame for his recurring shoulder injury.
-
Id of taken Crump over Trick in the elite league any day of the week. And would of taken adams over him. Yet on the world stage rickardsson was superior to the pair of them
-
In fairness with my visa - they didnt ask for qualifications just proof of expierience of at least 3 years in the trade.
-
He waa just on fire that day and was no stopping him, scored about 20 points i recall? Your management and riders actions that day were an absolute disgrace, stamping over a young kids shoulder when hes been thrown to the ground. How beveridge escaped with only a fine is beyond me, and one of your managers or promoters trying to stick the boot in as well. Complete cowardly actions but we won the match and won the return at glasgow so justice was served!
-
I thought it was actually Emil who took off one of the glasgow reserves on the back straight? Yet somehow didnt get excluded but got back to the pit gate and all hell broke loose. Wasnt it that berk will beveridge who stamped on emils shoulder? That move without doubt finished Emil Lindqvist as a top rider - he had an amazing career ahead of him as well. I remember Wato was sublime coming from 15 metres back in thick clouds of dust to win us that meeting, they were happy days!
-
I remember when in a last heat decider at newport andre compton completely stuffed mads korneliussen into the second bend fence as mads was about to pass him, no doubt in my mind that he totally intended to put him over the fence. That was a meeting packed with controversy!

Yes there is the working holiday visa you get for a year, and if you complete three months of regional work during that time your entitled to apply for a second year. Not many come on those visas here and end up staying legally though , i was lucky. So many friends ive made here have had to return home due to not finding a boss willing to sponsor or, even more commonly, being led on for ages by their boss with promises of a sponsorship visa, only to be let down last minute. Im going through sponsorship now, its a lot of hassle let me tell you.
-
Your boy wants to get searching for a company who will sponsor him then, if hes any good at his job then it wont be a problem. The construction industry here is booming, and brits , at least in melbourne and sydney, are welcomed by construction bosses with open arms. The typical aussie is nothing but a whinging lazy waste of space (that coming from many older aussie guys who i or mates have worked for). The irish in particular are always welcomed on sites as they work like animals, although they come with a bit of baggage. I know my boss (im a concrete formwork and shuttering carpenter) loves us brits and europeans. Anyone who says getting in here is easy though is wrong. Its a very complicated, time consuming and expensive process!

Are There Any Characters Within The Sport Anymore?
Pinny replied to steve roberts's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
He was never the same as soon as his main sponsor left him. It may well of been Thomas Armstrong? As soon as he left, his form declined. Same as Craig Watson at newport - once mallett transport left him he was never the same even before his injury. -
