I remember Glasgow had a rep as one of the best race tracks in the country back in the early 00's -
Newcastle Diamonds Vs Glasgow Tigers Pl 30th May 7.30pm
Pinny replied to mike7164's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Quite a few riders have sponsorship and injury issues and then their form declines, watson and stonehewer are two who spring straight to mind, and mike coles and pickering. All four had big sponsors, the day they left they were never the same. wato was one of the best pl riders in the last season Mallett transport sponsored him, soon as they left he was never the same even before the injuries and its the same with the other ones i listed. Hope barker does come back well hes a very likable rider imo -

Really? As already stated, if it is purely equipment, hes been around long enough to know the score regarding his premier league set up requirements etc. I do like barker, always have, but he should be professional enough to have a good set up around him. -

Sad to say after so many injuries, riders do lose their confidence somewhat, no matter how fearless they were in the past. In his peak barker was a sublime pl rider, however he has been slipping down the ranks for a while now. Seen it with riders before and will again. Cant ever see him becoming a consistent heatleader again sadly, the fact he is struggling at number 4 says its own story. -
JC has a point though, etheridge is absolutely crap

Lets hope the tactical rule stays in place, if only to keep racists like the white knob away from speedway tracks around the uk

Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 23/5/16 Sky Meeting

In his prime andersen made plenty of top passes at gp level and domestic. Thought circa 2006 he was going to make it to world champion. -
Brady Kurtz At Plymouth
Pinny replied to Sherborne Green's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think every british rider in the EL would want to ride pl if they could, even Harris is rumoured to want a move down simply because none of them are good enough to hold down full time places abroad in Poland and Sweden where the money is and their lacking rides thus points money. Watt is another whos not good enough to hold down a berth in poland or sweden, hence why he is apparantly looking to the PL. I dont think Kurtz or Cook dropping back down is a lack of ambition, their both simply not yet good enough to ride week in week out in the top flights abroad. Yet. -
Id say Middlo does quite a lot for riders, but unsure what he does for them as far as rider progress goes. Hes housed plenty of riders in his time and always had brilliant relationships with the riders off track, that cant be argued and is probably why most riders who have rode for poole like him

At least Shovvys came out and said the truth , unlike certain other poole fand who will either vanish or come on blaming every other thing. -

Yet starman will insist the tracks fine and will be having a pop at belle vue later no doubt. After a bright start this season all going wrong for Poole now and i cant see how with that side on paper. Kurtz should be cleaning up home and away from reserve! Newman always going to struggle in the 1-5. And if ifs true Holder isnt bothered with the uk surely look at replacing him, i thought he had lost it altogether since wards injury but polish and gp form suggest otherwise. Cant really blame pedersen, hes been signed to replace Watt who was absolutely dreadful and is scoring more than him with ease. Who would you replace holder with though? Lindback? -

Bspa Have Blocked Richard Hall`s Move To Brum!
Pinny replied to Brummie Kev's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Why not? Hes well past it now, no PL team wants him and he wants to carry on riding, why shouldnt he be allowed to ride in the NL? If atkin and armstrong can then why cant hall? -
No i wouldnt call it smug. You always pop up on the belle vue thread slagging off belle vues stadium, looking for faults all the time. Why?
-
Why is starman so bitter against belle vues new stadium? Its almost as if he wants the place to fail. Hes just highlighting what a true donut he really is i suppose

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Pinny replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Even so, signing a 7 point rider and sacking him when he acheives a 3.00 average is baffling But then i dont see much in him personally, he cant be that good to drop to 3.00 can he? and if he is that good, whats to stop say Berwick signing him to replace bager? And him averaging between 5-6? What have scunny gained out of that, or is he even their asset? Youll defend it as its your club, but to the outsider its confusing unless Scunny have jusy realised hes crap, cut their losses and got on with it. Kings lynn rating him means very little, afterall their the club who brought the likes of kolenko, stange, wallace, jan jaros etc to this country. -

After two gps Holders top, would you say hes the best in the world right now? Are you seriously telling me you think Lindgrens riding as well now as he did in 2009ish when he led Wolves to the title?
