Leicester V Poole Elb. 20/08/16
Pinny replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The SEC is a massive competition, a small gp series. Plenty of gp riders, and good ones at that, have participated in recent years. Its no different to holder missing a poole meeting for gp practice, he has no chance of being world champ so would you expect him to pull out of a gp to ride for Poole? -
Scheiln always has to stick his oar in, hes one of the biggest moaners uk speedway has ever seen. Bit of water on the track and he doesnt want to know. Honestly cant see why people think hes a great team man, hes bad how many clubs in the el now? Bet buster cant wait to get rid of him, hes a bad apple.
-
Would hope Wolves have slung a load of cash at him to come back, good on both parties if so. On the other hand, if tai has realised his schedule is almost empty and has came crawling back..... Oh dear Wolves for the title if he does return though either way
-
Is he? Pedersens done a solid job for Poole, Watt was nigh on useless

So Who Is Going To Win The El In 2016?
Pinny replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Really dont see how Poole are favourites for the title. Belle Vue have been the inform team this season and are pulling away at the top of the table taking away wins everywhere, and the bookies have bv joint favs with Poole atm. Its only going on past years that Poole are joint favs, imo from May-ish onwards they havent been too impressive. Id put my money on Bv as it stands -

Belle Vue are favourites to me, after the first month where Poole were steam rolling everyone and BV hardly raced a meeting id of said Poole, now i would def say bv. Top of the table and looking mighty impressive, won at Wolves and Poole easily. -
So Who Is Going To Win The Premier League In 2016?

Newcastle as long as they have a full seven. -
People stating Ryan Fisher is finished being made to look very silly, same with Wolbert. Still both quality PL riders. Things just seem a mess at Peterborough, sad to see after Rathbone has seemingly got the crowds up again. How many home defeats is that? I really do think NBJ is a tad over rated.

King's Lynn V Swindon 20th July 7.30pm

Dont blame Chapman for one minute. Scheiln and Batchelor are two notorious whinging old women, imagine having them both in the same team!! Scheiln always has been a moaner ever since he first started in uk speedway. If hes worried about his injury he should of taken more time out to get fully fit. Clear by his scores to see hes way off being anywhere near fit, no good coming back and whining when the tracks a bit wet. Good on chapman, its time someone told these medicore primadonnas how it is. -
Meant over 5 rides. My error. And it was said it should give Rosco a nudge, him and Cook scoring 5 from 3? Why would it give him a nudge? Maybe 7 or 8 from 3 would but 5? Thats a 6.66 average by the way. Hardly impressive. Or maybe it would of given rosco a nudge in the other direction and not to include them, is that what was meant!

5 from 3 being classed as good in that EL?? Maybe in Poland , but riders like Nicholls should really be banging in 10-13 pts a meeting in such a watered down league

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?

And your an even bigger fool for responding to someone who responded to him. And im an even bigger fool for responding to a nobend like you. But who cares everyone laughs at you. Your like the gorilla in the zoo. Absolutely no brains and spends the day getting laughed at by the vast majority of people. Your a pillock of the highest order. -
After reading and contributing to the Woffy threads over the last few weeks, although the ex gp star Robert has gone on a lot longer than that, ive decided to summarise the topic. After some much reasoned debate from Robert, he nearly tempted me not to include our by far and away best rider, our double world champion Tai woffinden. It was only the fact that he is the best rider in the world that swung me in favour of including him in the team. But the fact he has tattoos, piercings and occasionally swears VERY nearly made me not choose him. I think its fair to say after the evidence he has provided, we can safely assume that Robert is a former rider. What with all his winnings from multiple bets with forum members, will he decide to splash out and buy a pair of stablisers for his 250cc so he can actually finish four laps quicker than an episode of corrie? We can all now lay the subject of starman being thick, dumb, stupid, annoying, retarded to rest. For someone who sells the speedway star at the uks biggest club, thus every wednesday being presented with a few hundred million words to do with speedway in writing under his nose, youd think he would have some clue about speedway wouldnt you? So after (in starmans words) having nearly 3000 posts on the subject (1243 of which are starmans) we now have the answers to this thrilling, mouth watering debate. YES tai woffinden should be in the world cup squad, unless he gets his nipple pierced before practice in which case he should be warned his place isnt safe, if he says the F word in response to that, then its a simple no from me. He shouldnt be in the pits at the national stadium Come world cup final time.

Looking forward to starman telling us we are all morons for contributing to the thread to make it 3000 posts soon. Despite the fact that out of the next 1000, he will post 100 or so himself. -

I would imagine when his parents lodged their citizenship applications, assumimg they did, Tai was included in that application. Could be totally wrong. I just remember the big debate on whether he would decide to go for the uk or Australia some years back after he turned 16, there wouldnt of been an option had he not been eligible for an Australian passport. -
So this Rob Homer is out in America living the dream yet is worried about some old remedial using his name on the bsf? Considering rob homer appeared to be absolutely pathetic on a speedway bike, he should feel happy his names still being spoken about 30 odd years later !

You do not have to be born in a country to claim citizenship there.... My mate out here in Aus is a recent citizen and has lived in the country well under 10 years. Can you not remember at the time he had a choice of representing GB or Aus. His parents would no doubt of been citezens of Australia having both lived here well over a decade. Happy to be proved wrong but having been through the Aussie immigration regulations myself in depth lately due to my own situation, i find it baffling how he cannot represent Australia given his circumstances
