Pinny replied to womble53's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Pinny replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Even so, signing a 7 point rider and sacking him when he acheives a 3.00 average is baffling But then i dont see much in him personally, he cant be that good to drop to 3.00 can he? and if he is that good, whats to stop say Berwick signing him to replace bager? And him averaging between 5-6? What have scunny gained out of that, or is he even their asset? Youll defend it as its your club, but to the outsider its confusing unless Scunny have jusy realised hes crap, cut their losses and got on with it. Kings lynn rating him means very little, afterall their the club who brought the likes of kolenko, stange, wallace, jan jaros etc to this country. -

What average was Holub dropped on, 3? Even though he deserved to go as hed been pi55 poor all season, if he has been dropped whilst down on a 3 why not drop him when he was still 7?! -

Could well be making an appearence at Cardiff, all the way from Australia! -
After two gps Holders top, would you say hes the best in the world right now? Are you seriously telling me you think Lindgrens riding as well now as he did in 2009ish when he led Wolves to the title?

Edinburgh dont look great at all but are a better side than Ipswich. Ipswich since joining the PL have under acheived hugely year on year. This could be their worst pl season yet. Sorry but when you have the likes of masters and wolbert banging in points every week at home as well as Riss racking in decent scores and fisher, past it or not, still solid, i cant see them losing many more home meetings if any. Ipswich with their current team will lose another 2 or 3 at least.

Berwick Versus Sheffield: 14th May, 7pm
Pinny replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Think its time that Berwick fans realise this team is nowhere near good enough. Jorgensen was decent last season but certainly isnt a number one, the pressure of being expected to be a number one along with his injuries is doing him no good. Doolans a solid middle order man, probably still a decent third heatleader. Same with Pijper. Aldens hit and miss, one week great next week rubbish. That, IMO, is four third heatleaders. Bager is garbage, even in his prime was only a 6.5 ish PL rider. Way past that prime now. Be lucky to get 4. Wethers is a decent reserve, Carr doing all that can be expected of him. Obviously if Mellgren had started fully fit then the team would be a bit strong, hes had horrendous injuries and clearly is some way from fitness. But theres no number one in that side, theres not even a consistent second heatleader. A few changes are needed, as this team will continue to lose home matches all season. -
Ignore that prat gustix. Sad old coffin dodger with an extremely boring life. What a tosspott
-
As a reserve yes, wasnt Ales dryml reserve for a few years? Was he world class too? Hes way past his best and that point cannot be argued.
-
Lets be honest actually qualifying for the gps doesnt mean hes back to form. Look at the amoint of dross thats got through the gp challenge over the years. He is riding better than last year, but is well passed his best. That cannot be argued, although a tool like yourself will argue otherwise.
-
Course he is. Five six years ago he was el top dog for a few seasons in a row , fringe contender for top 8 in the gps etc. Now he isnt even in the gps and riding as a second string in a very watered down el. Lets be honest, if he was still world class hed never leave the number 1 jacket for wolves in a team of what is essentially second strings, kylmakorpi maybe excluded. Still have a few good scores, but well past his best and that really cannot be argued.
-
fact still remains he is well past his sell by date regardless of a good night on one of his better tracks. Will have his good days and his crap days as proved this season
-
Ah, cheers
-
Any reason why masters was used in heat 13 for his final ride rather than heat 14? Was never likely to gain a point in that heat yet could of won heat 14, could cost wolves the match?

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Pinny replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Got a feeling this will be scunthorpes last season.... Why do they seem to be making their team changes revolve around holub on this seasons form he should be the first one out the door.... Been absolute crap -
Bspa proving yet again what a bunch of useless tossers they really are Since that fat buffoon from Lynn has been in charge, its got even worse Shocking

Premier League V Elite League
Pinny replied to Shale Searcher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
People saying poole have it easy as a towns solo sport are talking nonsense. Bournemouths just down the road to go and watch PL football. The reason they are so successful is because, like him or hate him and by right or wrong, matt ford is a damn good promoter. -
Rosen in for aarnio would be a good move In a successful team with no pressure, im sure he would make big strides. this team will take some stopping imo

Would you invite 6000 people to a house party whilst you knew the roof was leaking in the first place and let them all in?
