Poole Pirates Vs Kings Lynn Stars 12/07/17

I do wonder if Ford has lost interest more and more the more the league is being watered down. Hes the type of bloke who likes being around the big stars and having them involved with his club. Think hes just lost interest, signing zengota at number one to replace KK said it all -

Iversen has been woeful this year, and would take a punt on him being back in the UK next season. Maybe Kildemand as well. -
Would that of been in 2005 Vince? The same engine that was bought for Mads by a group of Newport fans for Newport meetings yet was apparantly used every week for Swindon instead?
-
Not sure what he said. But anyone who put speedway before a good career job when they are at his level would be insane. Thats why a lot of these Danes poles etc wait until their exams/apprenticeships are over before they venture into foreign leagues.

And so it should be

Bridger should be nowhere near the squad. Averaging about 6 in the weakest premier league theres been in god knows how long. Absolute tool of the highest order. Thinks he is way better than he actually is. -

Your posts come across as extremely smug and as if to say "if i was there this wouldnt be happening". Well pull your finger out and get back involved with the club. Coming on and posting as you are is pathetic to be honest -
That Poole fans would want him nowhere near their club if they wish for the club to have a successful future. If you class 5 years without a league title before his club closed down a success for Horton, then your nose is further up his behind than most of us first realised.
-
But another club with the name Horton involved in it bit the dust.

Lets be perfectly honest here - Newman hasnt really got much better for a long time now. Was used as a fast track reserve for way too long and gone completely stale. Also very injury prone. And in the main body of the team is struggling hugely. Matt ford is ruthless but wants a winning side. Nothing wrong with that. Look how poor Newman has been in the second tier for ipswich, quite a few of their fans want shot of him as well. I was one of those who thought KK would excel at Poole this year, it hasnt gone to plan and Ford should be looking to replace him for good now. Zengota isnt the answer. What average would Nicki P come back on? Been awful in the gp but id still fancy him to bang the points in every week at this level. Now he has no chance of being a world champion again he may fancy topping up his pay packet in the uk. Still a top rider in the leagues. Matt Ford has been loyal to Newman for over five years and in all fairness he hasnt improved that much, he still hasnt held down a number one berth in the second tier has he.

Good to see doyle riding how he is. After all the serious injuries he has had as well. Hope he wins it this season. Never really liked woffy. When it comes to individual events id rather see a rider i like more do well than a brit. Woffy has, whether people like to admit it or not just because they like him, totally turned his back on uk speedway. Hes a cocky arrogant knob end and it is easy to see why many dislike him. British or not (excuse the pun) he does himself no favours at all. Can see it being Dudek or doyle this season. Hopefully doyle as i previously said hes had horrible injurys, five years ago he was classed as a pl number one who had probably peaked infact at newport in 2011 he was our second or third heatleader. Plus he has a superb style and an all out racer. Sad to see iversen struggling , think hed of progressed even more if it wasnt for that horrific knee injury he had a few years ago. Wouldnt be surprised if we have the seen the last of Nicki P in the gps now either

You sure it wasnt more? I remember Stonehewer telling me and my old man he was on £100 a point at Workington back in 2000, the night of the 2000 pairs championship. He had consumed a few shandys at that point tho 😂😂

Think if their used they have to be at least half decent looking, some of the girls who do it are absolutely awful to look at

Tais parents would of ended up being Australian citizens thus making Tai one as well when he was a kid? I would be stunned if Tai Woffinden is not an Australian citizen. Im going through visa process myself here so would be quite interested to know

Also , as im sure scb will confirm, back in the days of the nyc at Newport when the field was always competitive and riders had to be turned away from riding such was the demand, he turned up one year and completely took the piss. Him and adam shields i think. Always seemed good with teams though but if the track had a bit of rain on it you could forget it.
-
Odds on him making a comeback within 12 months?

Surely berge and bridger should be the first two out? Bridger averaging under 6 is pathetic, cant blame his bikes for such poor excuses for so long surely? And looking back now maybe glasgow were right to bomb out berge when they did -
A speedway meeting is a speedway meeting. Fans pay to attend to watch however many heats are scheduled. Just because its a benefit meeting, all funds should be refunded and then meeting restaged at another stage I do agree with some that just because this is darcy ward, fans should still be treated the same as they should if a league meeting is postponed. If the track was that dodgy it should never have started, a fast one has been pulled similar to the belle vue opening night last year.
