  1. That side is absolutely dreadful it must be said, anyone paying to watch that every week must need their heads read.
  2. Quick google search found these: http://mike-patrick.com/01/01Docs/0324.1.html
  3. They used Troy lee designs motocross style suits for a few years, definately. And they looked pretty good too .
  4. Most speedway riders are soft touches and knowing Kim, as much as a decent lad he is, he would probably be one of the biggest soft touches. Time for riders to put their foot down. F$$k being owed that much for a job so dangerous. Absolute farce, Lakeside Speedway should be ashamed of themselves.
  5. The Coventry ones, made by I think Troy Lee designs, actually looked pretty good.
  6. Absolute farce that riders get banned for refusing to ride if their not being paid. I would never ever stand for it, recently left my job and got a new one due to none of the lads on site being paid. Should be paid every week without fail and if its a week late, employer should add a percentage on as compensation for your late wage. Something that needs a huge look at
  7. Gollob was very good on big tracks however on the smaller ones he wasnt. Hence why id rate hancock, nicki, tai etc above him... they can ride any shaped tracks which makes them better riders
  8. Always makes me laugh reading/hearing stuff like this. The same as people who buy cheap work boots in construction and then moan their uncomfortable/falling apart quickly. £1000 is naff all for a suit that the rider will wear at least 30 times over an 8 month period.
  9. Crump won more titles because he was the better rider. Being ruthless and slamming the door closed on riders behind is part of being a good speedway rider. Look, I have no bias towards either rider but Crumps individual acheivements outclass Adams by some margin.
  10. Lorams win was a one off season, apart from that season Adams probably finished above him in every other gp season and in the averages every season. Crump was sublime in the leagues, was on the podium ten years on the bounce in the gps, won three world titles and in my opinion that makes him a far better rider than Adams who in fairness was majestic in the leagues but not a patch on Crump individually.
  11. Crump obviously had something Adams didnt, and that got him three world titles to Adams 0. I liked both but I find it hard to argue with the fact that individually, Crump was a far better rider.
  12. Crump was far better tham Leigh Adams... winning three world titles to Adams 0 during the same era.
  13. I would put Bjarne down as still a quality rider in this league, should comfortably average 8.5 plus.
  14. Lund was pretty good at Newport but was always pretty poor on away tracks. He had a horrible injury at Newport in the same meeting Wato first done his ankle in and that was the end of him as a six point man. He lived on the farm with NKI and Mads K. NKI never went out partying, the other pair did. Then look at how their careers panned out!
  15. I am no Poole fan, I am just saying it how it is. It just looks head and shoulders above anything else named this season.
  16. Cook vs kurtz - kurtz is improving at a fast rate, is only marginally behind Cooks average now and has expierienxe at number one in the top flight whereas Cook hasnt. Come October I would say Kurtz will higher average so I would probably go with him. Fricke vs Holder - Holder all day long , he wont be world champ again but if he has his head remotely screwed on there is plenty of room to add to his figure. Fricke didnt kick on as hoped last season. Tungate vs Sundstrom - Sundstrom all day long. Worrall vs Josh G - hard one but Josh G averaged more last season and that was from riding at 1 in a struggling side. Then you throw in the two Poles and this Poole side looks brilliant. If they avoid injuries I cannot see anyone touching them, and that is just with the Poles adding to their figures. The top three could all add a point if not more to their aves.
  17. If you think cook, fricke, worrall and tungate is as strong as Holder, Sundstrom, kurtz and Josh g, i think your very much mistaken
  18. After about 3 meetings at Newport and his away scores at the likes of Exeter, Swindon and Reading, it was plain to see he was going far. I remember Jonas Davidson coming in for Reading that season on a 9.00 and all the Reading fans spouting he would be a better signing, ha. Nki went on to average over 9.00 in his first year, and was sensational for Newport. Was all set to sign for a second season until Wagstaff at Oxford said he wasnt gonna let him double up again which was a massive shame. I think he would of topped the averages the following season had he raced PL.
  19. So your saying Ford may use KK if Sundstrom deal falls through? Pull the other one FFS!
  20. I remember Iversen for Newport at Swindon in, it must of been 2003. In heat 15 he laid it down on the first bend and stayed down, Newport were 2 up going into that heat i think with Watson unbeaten after 4 rides . Iversen got fined for staying down and the ref fined him , in which the crowd had a whipround. Pretty sure wato needed to win heat 15 to win it for newport but missed the gate in the re run and altho he passed Allen (?) he couldnt get close to Gjedde. Good times
  21. If you hadn’t of childishly liked my post with the laughing face, this wouldn’t of turned into an “argument”. i simply stated Iversen is superior to Lindgren in UK speedway these days to which you laughed at, despite it being true. In the last four seasons in which both Lindgren and Iversen have raced in the EL/whatever you want to call it, Iversen has had the higher average. And that is why any day of the week, I would take him over Lindgren, espiecially on a track away from Monmore Green.
  22. Isnt Lindgren also coming back from a nasty back injury as well?
  23. My backside is he. Iversens the better premiership rider and has been the past 5 years, the stats do not lie. Also if we are going to talk about GP form, Iversen has a bronze medal to his name, has Lindgren ever been on the rostrum come end of season? The last two seasons both have rode in the Premiership together: 2015: Iversen 8.98, Lindgren 6.11 2016: Iversen 9.04, Lindgren 7.21. This is despite the fact Lindgren has a huge home track advantage at Monmore. I would also guess that Iversens averages in Poland and Sweden over the last five years have been higher, but cant find the links to the averages. Lindgren was superb around 2009ish in the EL, that is without question. But now, I would take Puk over him every time in League Speedway. Gps maybe a different story, but this is a Kings Lynn thread. edit, just checked. Iversen had a higher average in 2012 and 2013, as well (in the UK). there is no doubt in the UK, Niels Kristian Iversen is the better rider
  24. We arent discussing GP form or form elsewhere, we are discussing British racing where Iversen has been superb for the last four or five years. I, and I would think most, would go with NKI over lindgren as far as uk speedway is concerned
