Starke for Drodz has made BV stronger for sure and they should be looking to keep him on full time. No point having a total shuffle with this one over 8 buisness, I think Hougaard for Worrall would be an adequate replacement. Lets not get carried away, Steve Worrall is no world beater! once dialled in around BV Hougaard would be just as good if not better IMO

19/04/18 - Premiership - Swindon v King’s Lynn

Am I missing something? Surely Lynn snatching a point rather than Swindon making sure they didnt still makes it competitive? You cannot beat the old bonus point system tho. Much better -

Wolverhampton v Rye House 16/4/18
Pinny replied to hammer1969's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So its just a coincidence that Vaculik et all decided to come this season is it? Topics would of been raised at the AGM and there would of been numerous suggestions put forward for fixed race nights... yes no fixture clashes would of been one and big names coming backs another. Lynn would of known NKIs only chance of coming back would be for fixed race nights as he said last season so would of voted it for that reason, Leicester were probably in talks with Vaculik before the rule was confirmed and would of wanted the fixed nights brought in to sign him etc... and there are probably more reasons. do you really think that Chapman and Bates walked away from the agm and thought “oh well thats good maybe Vaculik and Iversen will come back now we have fixed nights”. no. They would of had their number ones already planned in their heads and would of gone to the agm to vote for fixed race nights to accomodate them. -

Course it was done for that purpose as wel as fixture clashs. Riders for years have said they will come back if theres fixed race nights... and now there are fixed race nights, riders you would not of seen ride in the Premiership otherwise have came back. They more than likely set the fixed race nights for numerous reasons, and these are just two of them -

I would say it was done for both, or did Iversen, Vaculik, Sundstrom etc come back because of the lack of fixture clashes with the Championship? If Lynn can afford Iversen, Somerset affoed Doyle... I see no reason why Wolves couldnt afford Lindgren? -

And also a number one whos not even top of his sides averages in the second division. however, I do agree the top flight is stronger but the gap seems to be getting narrower all the time. Can you imagine Loram and Louis riding in the PL when riding as EL number ones?! the EL has gone on the decline for a while, the promoters are pathetic and have to be blamed. They bring in set race nights to entice the big stars back yet saddle them all with pathetic averages and bring in a one over 8 rule. Jokers -
Belle Vue V Poole SGB Prem. A. 16th April 2018
Pinny replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I feel to see how Tungate riding poor as he usually does in the EL along with Gapp for Etheridge is advantage to Poole? ok Worrall was missing but the rider in his place scored Worralls 2017 average... ok he started really well this season but nobody knows if it would of lasted more than a few meetings a lot of riders start like a house on fire and fade pretty quick, Mads Korneliussen a classic example. Tungate is part of belle vues original line up and is riding poor, whilst not many with sense could argue against Gappmeier being a better rider tham Etheridge! -
Auty more natural ability than Doyle?! Lol!

He would of been given a set amount of time to find a new sponsor after Lynn notified immigration he no longer “worked” for them. As I said , in Australia its 88 days. So if this is the case in the UK, after his sacking he would still of been able to ride abroad and return to the UK for the rest of the season. Sure I read that he had stayed on in Australia after the GP here. All very confusing, but I have my doubts that it is visa related. Also, doesnt he own a house and have a kid in the UK? Which surely would make him a permanant resident or citizen?

If the visa situation is the same as for us Brits in Aussie, if Holders visa became void after his sacking this would of meant him staying illegially in the country which is, when caught, an instant ban. There is no way he would of got back into the country once leaving if this was the case. In Australia, I have an Irish mate who was working in my trade and sponsored by the company (the same as Holder by Lynn). he got sacked for numerous no shows on a Monday, and had 88 days to find a new employer to take on his sponsor visa. He found other work, cash in hand, worked for 6 months and then decided to go back to Ireland. As he had overstayed the 88 days granted, as soon as he checked into Melbourne airport, he was pulled in and given a three year ban from Australia and was told that even after 3 years, he would need a damn good case to be even considered to be let back in. in a nutshell, unless the UK is massively different to Aussie border force, Holder didnt overstay any visa unlawfully in 2017.

What and saddle the likes of Smolinski and Jepsen Jensen with 9.00 figures?! Because thats fair isnt it. Should be absolutely no such ruling. Any Gp rider with an old average should be allowed to return on that figure and any newcomer, ie Vaculik, should be given a fair assessed figure. The likes of Tai and Zagar should of been allowed back in on their old figures. Its absolutely pathetic how they aren’t.
