  1. Surely the main aim should be to merge Rye House and Lakeside into one club? no good using the Rye House name , this could actually be the makings of a really good club if done properly. With Jon Cook involved though, people would be right to have concerns.
  2. Those scores are from the past few seasons from heatleader positions, most of the opposition is the same standard as he races against for Poole. You claimed he couldnt ride big tracks “its as simple as that”, well those three tracks i have listed are three of the biggest in the Uk and he has had no problem scoring well there? So he can obviously ride big tracks. He was sacked from Glasgow partly for poor form and partly because he was disruptive in the pits and a nuisance if Glasgow fans are to be believed. His general poor form, Edinburgh apart, is probably more down to the fact he has spent the majority of his the season struggling with engines but has found a perfect set up for Armadale . you have tried insisting he cant ride bigger tracks, well i spent 2 minutes on the updates forum and found those scores so its perfectly obvious he can ride big tracks. also if Glasgow sacked him because he wasnt good enough at home, and cant ride the track explain his big scores there from previous season? someone who cant ride big tracks is someone who rarely scores well if ever on them, you dont bang in double figure scores on them regular if you simply cant ride them. No matter what tier, there is such a small difference between the leagues these days. Fact remains Worrall is proven to be a big scorer on the big tracks, its as simple as that. And is having a stinker of a season this season.
  3. Richie Worrall 3, 2, 3, 1', 3, 1' = 13+2 Berwick 2015 Richie Worrall 2, 2', 3, 3, 3 = 13+1 Workington 2015 Richie Worrall - 2,2,3,3,2 = 12 Workington 2016 Richie Worrall - 2*,1,2,3,2,0 = 10+1 Peterborough 2016 Richie Worrall - 2*,2*,3,3 = 10+2 Berwick 2016 Richie Worrall - 2', 2', 2, 3 = 9+1 Berwick 2017 Richie Worrall - 2, 2, 3, 3, 0 = 10 Peterborough 2017 Richie Worrall - 3 1' 3 2 0 = 9+1 Workington 2017 They are hardly the scores of someone who cannot ride bigger tracks? your talking nonsense as usual
  4. Stop talking crap. Of course he can ride bigger tracks as many, many big scores on big tracks previously have shown. No idea what his issue is atm but to say he cant ride bigger tracks is absolute garbage.
  5. Very odd comment Steve brum, surely youd rather see your team fight until the end? A couple of good results and Wolves would be in the hot seat for the play offs.
  6. Youd have to hope Poole are up to something if you were a Poole fan as that is a pathetic performance. imagine how good Lynn would of been had Iversen been on the gas all season.
  7. An absolute penis of a man. Since his involvement the GPs have turned into a bit of a farce.
  8. You talk some nonsense.... the Somerset reserves probably scored more than the riders they replaced would of going by their last performances. As for Holders mare - what about Kurtzs?
  9. According to the updates , he had a blinder in heat 13 and done naff all the rest of the night. One race , before his win, it said he looked to be going through the motions? either way, whether he walked or was sack, for a GP rider to come in and score 5 from 5 on a track he has done many laps on is not good enough.
  10. What people need to realise is this isnt Sunday league football, this is tier 2 of a professional sport, well its suppose to be. Even if Workington did know , they would of played the rules and used it to their advantage. As said, Lakeside and the riders cock up no question. Lakeside should of checked the rules before booking him and Worrall himself should of known he rode there less than 8 days previous. I doubt he would care though, I would imagine as a guest he had all expense paid plus a minimum wage at least for turning up. Its just a massive balls up which has sadly been overlooked to some extent because of Bewleys injury. Its no wonder this sport is in such a mess and why fans are turning away in hundreds, everywhere. Paying top dollar to see a side show up with no number one due to the away managements total retardedness.
  11. One heat win out of 5 , hardly inspiring to say the least is it?
  12. Great days , we had Kujawa at Newport in 2004.... 000 on his debut and sacked!!!
  13. How a fully grown man can beg teenage webcam tarts on twitter for naked photos is beyond me but clearly you have different views!
  14. Zagar definately had the talent in his younger years, there was a hugely talented crop of u21 riders around in the 2001/2/3 days. Lindgren, Lindback, Iversen, Zagar, Hampel, Dryml.... quite how none of them, to date, have won a world title is beyond me.
  15. The year we had Watson, Smart and Iversen we also had Atkin who averaged about 7 and Wilkinson who had his first season in the 1-5 and added to his average by over a point. quite remarkable that side finished 10th out of 18, just shows how good the PL was back in them days. Gjedde was a class act for Swindon, in 2001 the year we had Cunningham and Masters at Newport and were bottom me and my dad used to go to Swindon most thursdays, seen Gjedde ride there for Reading easy 18 point max, Bjarne Pedersen and Fryer had a cracking race that season, great days. Gjedde around the Abbey was sensational, only spent 2/3 of a season at Newport in 2011 but averaged 10.50 overall and was brilliant, most dominant Wasp I had seen even more dominant than a prime Watson I would say. Iversen I thought may of jumped a year too early, I remember he agreed a deal with Tim Stone to return to Newport the next season and was set to double up and then I think they scrapped the double up/down rule meaning Waggy signed him full time for Oxford. That screwed Newports team plans right up I remember Tim Stone telling my old man the side he had planned and it would of taken some stopping. Anyway back on topic, I suppose Zagar has had his fair share of chances and has never been top 3 so if he doesnt make top 8 this season it would be difficult to justify giving him a wild card .
  16. Totally agree, he was superb in about 2003 , the same season Iversen landed at Newport. Both came in on 9.00 and both increased that figure which was rare in those days with the standard of rider they came up against. I remember a certain Nick Dyer from Reading stating Jonas Davidsson would be better than both, where is he these days?! (And Davidsson for that matter!). heard whispers that Zagar lacks the professionalism and doesnt take the sport as seriously as he should, same as Jonsson. Both extremely talented, exciting riders who were more than capable of winning a world title - Jonsson more so imo.
  17. They all think theyll be idolised for Pedersen bashing throughout the sport , thats why they do it. They know he has a reputation and is unpopular so they think that going for him after any tiny little incident makes them heroes in the eyes of anti Pedersen people. pathetic in all honesty... the minute Pedersen has enough and lumps one of these hangers on unconscious cannot come soon enough. He should of been allowed to lay Hancock out after Hancocks pathetic lunge at him a few years ago, instead of being dragged away. These clowns would soon think twice. Pedersen has always been a hard rider and yes has pulled some shocking moves but not for a long time. There are worse out there than him for sure.
  18. Pathetic from lakeside who should of known of the 8 day rule before hand. Best wishes to dan b as well.
  19. And wasnt Wards injury at that time non speedway related?
  20. Just annoyed I didnt remember to have a flutter on Vaculik!!!
  21. As usual riders jumping on the Pedersen bandwagon, any other rider and nothing else would of been said.
  22. Really?? I think Fricke, given time, will go all the way. Both though are better prospects than Kurtz who now appears to be going backwards
  23. Holder out next season. If he gets another wild card it shows how corrupt the organisers are imo.
