Tai / Rosco - Team GB 2020

Am I missing something here? MR has seen both and given his opinion that Lee was better than Tai and hes been ripped to shreds because of that? -

Behave. I am well aware of fighting and combat sports and that is a head butt. Trying to speak to the marshall? Do me a favour!!! -

Try and shoulder barge one of your mates and you will see that your head doesnt go anywhere near theres , unless of course you class a shoulder barge as a head butt. Also , being Cook who has a pathetic temper at the best of times , why would he go for him with a shoulder barge? He went in with his head and its clear as day in the video thats what happened and cannot understand how people can say otherwise . Just like you see in boxing when boxers go in with their head when fighting dirty , thats exactly what that was . A headbutt doesnt exactly mean leaning your head back first then forward , it means going at someone with your head. Which is what cook done, with a helmet on. And its clear as day in the video. -

I couldnt careless what most agree on, its plain to see in that video he went in head first at the marshall which is classed as a head butt. You can try saying what you like, that was an attempted headbutt. Also , how do you want the bet to be paid? PM me -

Bit of argy bargy? cook tried sticking the head on the marshall there is no doubt about it, and if he had connected could of caused untold damage. The marshall instigated the melee there is no doubt about that either, but cook should of just pushed him out the way instead of attempting to head butt the guy with a crash helmet on . If you headbutted an old man in the middle of the street because he walked in front of your moped whilst moving at about 10mph, and the headbutt connected, youd be done for ABH. -

He certainly went in for the head butt but completely missed . Thats a fact and its clear to see in the 2.30 minute video thats doing the rounds. Be interesting to see what happened when Kennett attacked Cook but sadly the crowded area prevents that. attempting to head butt someone whilst wearing a hard hat is cowardly, pathetic and absolutely disgraceful regardless of being provoked. -
There is no doubt Cook rivals Scheiln as the top pillock in UK speedway but shouldn’t the flag marshall be on the centre green so to speak waving just the flag so the riders could see it? After watching the video it seems to me that the flag marshall wandered mid track almost looking for trouble. Either way Cook tried headbutting him with his helmet on (it is an attempted headbutt without question, not a shoulder barge!) and should at the very least cop a fine and a ban for that. Shocking.

And riding your bike into a member of track staff is even worse . But there we are! -

Craig Cook is just an absolute tool, always has been and always will be . Things dont go his way his toys come out the pram. Does he honestly think headbutting a track staff member with his helmet still on is hard and macho like? Tool. Wont be long till he messes with the wrong rider/person and gets knocked out cold. Be a brilliant day all round when that happens. -
I wouldnt want to put my meat near a girl from a third world country if im honest, bet those Polish girls are riddled with all sorts!

Doesnt mr Dick Barrie post on this forum?????? Surely not after all his previous comments in the Berwick programme/announcements?! thought not! As only a Dick Head would go against his word like that!?

Forgetting that his own club was an absolute mess until the millionaires came in and likely will be again if and when they get bored and sell up/close down as nobody wants to buy it for their asking price .

The sport in the UK is on its knees and I really don’t see any way back now , no matter how much effort is made . Crowds have dwindled more and more season on season . Glasgow are having success due to millions being spent , no other clubs have that sort of money . Most clubs are getting between 3-600 fans a week . Obviously there are exceptions. I will be perfectly honest , despite living in Melbourne I wouldn’t shell out to go and watch whats on offer at most tracks on a weekly basis in the UK. It doesn’t help how riders swap clubs so often. Back 20 years ago most clubs had a number one that was associated with the club and would stay year on year ... now its just musical chairs . Most riders ride in both leagues , theres guests every week , riders missing. Its a shambles. And riders demanding good money from clubs surviving on Sunday league footy crowds. Most stadiums are old , worn and decaying. I cannot see any way back for it , as bad as it sounds . I think the sport is near enough finished .

He done it in the PLRC a number of years ago . And that was before he went to the EL and was an average Pl rider . Pathetic . -

Scheiln is pathetic , if he is too scared to ride on a wet track then he should hang the kevlars up and retire . Its like me in my trade saying im not working 30 levels up as i dont like heights, id be sacked . he has whinged for longer than i can remember so the Bspa should say thank you and goodbye and revoke his license. Not what you want in your side . -
He may be a nice guy but there is no doubting that Rogers is very often involved with vastly under the limit sides.

Pinny replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How? not so long ago Wells was one of the top riders in the PL. he should be beating kennett and allen espiecially. -
Should be two UK under 21 riders at reserve in the top tier from next season onwards . The draft system before was a great little system.

Difference being Rymel and Alden weren’t one track ponys. Rymel in particular could ride most tracks . No idea about the other two named . Gappmaier would be perfect as a lower second string in a side with a couple of top riders and a solid third heatleader who could carry him however as the side is built on strength in depth , his away showings are no good for Berwick . -

Bang on. As much as Shovlar winds people up and is the poster everyone loves to hate , Gavan is non stop on the Poole thread making a fool of himself , getting worked up and trying to wind up the Poole fans. He is more of a troll than anyone on this forum. So its amusing to see him so quiet after last weeks result . I agree that the Ippo fans are a decent bunch on here apart from Gavan , whether he is a real fan or not remains to be seen. -
Newman is finished , his best years are behind him now sadly . He was superb for Poole in those years at reserve though.
