He done it in the PLRC a number of years ago . And that was before he went to the EL and was an average Pl rider . Pathetic . -

Scheiln is pathetic , if he is too scared to ride on a wet track then he should hang the kevlars up and retire . Its like me in my trade saying im not working 30 levels up as i dont like heights, id be sacked . he has whinged for longer than i can remember so the Bspa should say thank you and goodbye and revoke his license. Not what you want in your side . -
He may be a nice guy but there is no doubting that Rogers is very often involved with vastly under the limit sides.

Poole v Ipswich. Prem. 18th July 2019
Pinny replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How? not so long ago Wells was one of the top riders in the PL. he should be beating kennett and allen espiecially. -
Should be two UK under 21 riders at reserve in the top tier from next season onwards . The draft system before was a great little system.

Difference being Rymel and Alden weren’t one track ponys. Rymel in particular could ride most tracks . No idea about the other two named . Gappmaier would be perfect as a lower second string in a side with a couple of top riders and a solid third heatleader who could carry him however as the side is built on strength in depth , his away showings are no good for Berwick . -
Ipswich v Poole Prem. 11/6/19

Bang on. As much as Shovlar winds people up and is the poster everyone loves to hate , Gavan is non stop on the Poole thread making a fool of himself , getting worked up and trying to wind up the Poole fans. He is more of a troll than anyone on this forum. So its amusing to see him so quiet after last weeks result . I agree that the Ippo fans are a decent bunch on here apart from Gavan , whether he is a real fan or not remains to be seen. -
Newman is finished , his best years are behind him now sadly . He was superb for Poole in those years at reserve though.

Nicholls has been a fine servant to British Speedway, in his 40s and still as exciting as ever . -

Patched up weakened Poole side giving a full strength Ipswich a beating in their back yard . Can never write Poole off no matter what. -
With the reported crowds in the UK these days along with rider wages , its a wonder any club bothers anymore . So its no surprise the cheaper option was to replace a poor foreign reserve rather than replace an even poorer British reserve .

You aren’t wound up? Lol. i notice your silly name pop up on any thread when Edinburgh lose but can’t take it back. Difference is, I don’t care if people think I’m a knobhead. You clearly do and get extremely wound up, like the Gavan of this section. -

How you Gowan, mr h man? -
He was superb around Exeter I remember that much . there was a meeting down there i think the year Wato and smarty came back for Newport and we went into a last heat decided needing a heat advantage to win. Stephens guested for us for someone and had reeled off a six ride maximum but Tim Stone still opted to put Wato and Smart in the final race. They went out and got us a 5-1 to win the match. But remember thinking how quick Stephens was that night around Exeter, unreal .

Ben Howe for Newport on about 11.90 average in about 2000 . Was superb to watch around Newport when in the mood but dreadful away from home . went from Watson/Lindqvist/Henrikssson and Smart in 1999 to Henriksson, Howe an Appleton as heatleaders the following year . Lol .

Regarding earlier posts, Morley is another Nick Simmons / Barrie Evans type rider .

I remember Craig Watson at Exeter using the fence to superb effect to pass Mark simmonds round the outside, he had the white paint marks on the handlebars to prove how close he got to the fence as well. Watching from the 4th bend bar looking directly down at the track was without doubt the best viewing place I have seen in speedway. Breathtaking
