  1. I am sorry, but that is complete and utter bias and theres no other phrase for it.
  2. What is the highest figure Kildemand has been at in the UK? Batchelor, as a second heatleader, is superb and even a prime Kildemand would struggle to match that figure. Let alone a rider who has completely lost his way, he hardly pulled any trees up for Poole in 2018 either did he? His form abroad has been awful for a couple of seasons now. He may go on to be a hit this season but it is extremely likely he will get absolutely nowhere near Batchelor .
  3. Will have to disagree. The argument was top 3 vs top 3.... Swindons is a lot stronger. Doyle well clear of Kurtz , Batchelor again way clear of a fading Kildemand and Jensen over a point higher than Wright. I cant see how there can be any comparison really.
  4. Swindons top 3 is head and shoulders above Belle Vues, cant even see how thats up for debate.
  5. The reality of what happened is Wolves made it and Belle Vue didnt, its as simple as that. Wolves probably lost silly points they should of got over the season as did BV. Its speedway.
  6. Andersen if in a good team as a third heatleader with two riders above him would average 7.5 I reckon. Put him at 1 or 5 and he would average around 6-6.5.
  7. In all fair ness, I think Wright must be one of the strangest cases I have seen in speedway for being one minute superb to absolute mince within a season. It is quite puzzling to think what went wrong so quick.
  8. Wright rode for Birmingham in the past so actually smart arse, he does have something to do with Birmingham. Have you recently been installed as a mod on here ?
  9. Silver and Wright cannot really be compared can they - Silver pretty much left at the top of his game there or there abouts whilst Wright had a couple of good years then slowly fading and becoming a rider nobody would want in their side.
  10. Its crazy to think even the teams that have gone in the last 20 years Newport, Reading, Exeter, Oxford, Trelawny, Hull, Workington, Arena, Rye , Coventry , Stoke, Buxton just off the top of my head. Probably more. Used to love the bank holiday meetings vs the likes of Reading and remembering the crowds at Smallmead and Exeter when the Wasps were in town when they first came back was like nothing seen since IMO... used to flood the places yellow . Good times and times that will never come back around again sadly. The sport in the UK is dying on its arse.
  11. So he is still about then? Was a classic forum member back in the day, had many debates with him as a youngster but definitely a good guy.
  12. Would be good to see Reading back . Whatever happened to Nick Dyer? Is he still involved in the sport or just completely vanished since Reading closed?
  13. I was actually referring to his height although I would not be surprised to see Ipswich chasing him.
  14. The extreme heat conditions here would of had something to do with it, obviously an Aussie summer is always hot but this recent heatwave has been something else. to put it into perspective, in Victoria the Union us construction workers work under has a rule of as soon as it hits 35 degrees, you down tools and go home. We normally get 2-3 per summer, summer has only just started and we have had 6 already. And theres two months of summer left.
  15. Gavan done it and got nothing but flack from the Poole fans, now your doing the same. Im far from Gavans biggest fan, but what your doing is no better.
  16. Your hanging round this thread like a bad smell like Gavan used to on Pooles.
  17. Behave yourself. Anyone would think youve helped fill out Berwicks stadium week in week out Main part of advertising is having the product your advertising bang on and value for money. If not, you could advertise speedway as a 5 quid sport and people still wont come back.
  18. Take no notice of Dick (head) Barrie and his suggestions of Keleher being a better prospect than Kennedy. He isnt.
  19. So someone in a dying sport gets an award and you have a sap like Richard Weston making stupid comments . This is everything that is wrong with speedway and more importantly, its fans. Well done Dave!
  20. He averaged nearly 3 points more at Lakeside, well known as a notorious track for home advantage, than away. Your constant bigging up of him and having digs at other riders because they were signed instead of your grandson is childish. He has had numerous chances , and isnt good enough. Hence no championship place. As stated, hes a Herne/Evans type rider.
  21. Hes also a very average second reserve in the CL. Fact.
  22. Agree entirely. Been around for ten plus years and still cant average 4 in the CL. Another Barrie Evans / Lee Herne / Martin Williams type rider.
  23. Agreed. Also teams can build a side with the same grades as another team and have a side worth up to 2/3.00 higher averages!
